We were doing a wine forward wedding where we selected all of our wines, and we were able to give them a heads up so that the food was paired nicely. Also, my husband and I come from different cultural backgrounds, and we were able to include that in our menu. For example, we had mini Cuban Sandwiches as a part of the passed apps (I still crave them, they were amazing!) and Filipino food like lumpia and pancit as a late night snack. They executed these dishes perfectly, in addition to what was an incredible family-style dinner service that was also customized to our tastes and favorite food. We got married just over a week ago, and guests are still reaching out to us about how great the food was! If I'm correct, and there weren't any issues, it is because Jessie is THAT good at her job! I cannot say enough amazing things about her. Truly, this tiny little space is nowhere near enough room for all the incredible ways that Jessie made my wedding perfect!! She far exceeded our expectations. We hired Jessie as our day of coordinator, but her help begun well before our wedding day. Anytime I needed advice, had a question or needed recommendations she was readily available to walk me through it! We had initially hired another planner and had an awful experience. We ended up firing her and hiring Jessie and I am SO glad that we did. Jessie did way more work as a day of planner than our "full service" planner did. Any issues that came up before the wedding, Jessie was able to solve for us. The day before our wedding one of our vendors called her saying that they forgot to bring our sweetheart table. When Jessie broke the news to me, she was calm and offered a couple of different solutions. The company we ended up getting our table from had mentioned that the table was not available for rent, but they made an exception because of Jessie. That is how well known and respected she is in this industry. Every little detail was perfect. She did an incredible job setting up our decor and coordinating all of our vendors. The rehearsal dinner was smooth, quick and to the point. She somehow managed to keep our entire bridal party + families in line (we had a bridal party of 25). She even made sure that my husband and I were able to eat at the ceremony by literally standing guard and blocking people from bothering us! It has been almost 3 months since our wedding and to this day, my family and friends still rave about Jessie. They all say how incredible she was. She was on top of it, organized & fun. This was a destination wedding, and planning this mostly through COVID, she worked well with the limitations and was very flexible. All of our family and friends commented about how great she was at the rehearsal dinner and wedding. She ended up planning our entire rehearsal dinner and it was INCREDIBLE! She made it an evening we will never forget, perfectly matching our style as a couple. The day of our wedding ran smoothly, and if there were any hiccups we never saw them! During our venue walk-through, Jade was taking measurements and sketching a layout of tables and where vendors could go, making sure it was how we would like it to be. She knew to ask all the questions to our venue that we would have never thought of but are logistically important (details regarding rental drop off and pickup, etc).
