I have been trying to get this office to pay me what they owe me for awhile now. I have called and called.. It will be a year in September they have promised me the money. They agree they owe it. Two weeks ago I gave them my checking account information. AGAIN. Today I was told someone shredded it by accident?!?! Dr. Tseng and Annie were lovely to me when I went there. However, their new manager, Jennifer is not. She informed me that she has only been there only three weeks, was on overload, and wasn't there last year when this occurred. Of course, that doesn't mean the debt is absolved. I didn't understand her thinking about that..it makes no sense. Then, I suggested I come in. She said you can come in all you want but no one can help you. What? Then why take my information if no one can help me? I would hope in this same situation, I would be solicitous, understanding and apologetic. All of which Jennifer was not. Put a call into Annie.. still waiting. read more

I honestly don't even know where to begin. My visit started off fine--the dental hygienist seemed nice, polite, and genuinely sweet.But halfway through the appointment, that completely changed. In my personal experience, the hygienist's attitude flipped out of nowhere. Instead of maintaining the same kindness she began with, she started mock what I would say and ask condescending question . Not just once over and over. I couldn't believe I was sitting in a professional medical setting being spoken to that way. It was uncomfortable, humiliating, and honestly baffling. I was literally stuck in the chair while someone who is supposed to be a healthcare professional acted like I was a joke. By the end, I walked out feeling worse than when I walked in. A dental office should make patients feel safe, respected, and cared for not embarrassed. During my appointment I felt all of those things. In my opinion, the behavior I experienced was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I will definitely not be returning, and I'd strongly suggest anyone who values basic courtesy think twice before booking an appointment here. ABSOULUTLEY UNBELIEVABLE!! read more

I've been a patient for only 9 months and have had nothing but issues. Canceling morning of, attempting to cancel on me 10 minutes before my appointment, front end staff telling me they do not "understand the need" for my appointment, front end staff claiming the office is closed so they didn't have to send me my files, and the office manager telling me that her front end staff lied to me. I have been billed out of pocket twice because they don't know how to properly submit anything to insurance. Do not recommend unless you have a lot of free time and don't mind the headache. read more

Even though our visits had only been for routine check up, Dr. Tseng and his assistants always treated us with special care and gave us advices only for our best interests. So glad I found, or should I say my wife found Dr Tseng from Danbury Dental Group... For many years I was going to a dentist in Ridgefield who sold his practice and I continued with the new Dentist who purchased it. It was my wife who came to a service needed that was questioned, so she ventured out through a recommendation of a friend to Dr Tseng. So I gave it try on my next 6 month visit... Never Looked back.. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. the receptionist is EXTREMELY RUDE. They were arguing with me telling me i do not have dental insurance ( which i clearly do). The receptionist was basically talking down to me. then i asked for her manager, and an Asian lady who i could BARELY understand gets on the phone. She was even more rude than the first. Just had my six-month appointment yesterday and as always was greeted promptly, brought right into the dental suite, and had a very thorough cleaning by my technician. Met with my dentist after the cleaning and reviewed my progress. It is so nice to have a dental professional that knows your history and is always looking out for you. read more

Went in for cleaning and had a chip on a molar to fix. They forgot to fix the chip and I didn't remember until after I got back to work. (the only bad part and everyone forgets sometimes...oops. Not a big deal as long as I don't get charged a copay for another visit). The rest of the visit went very well. They have video cameras on a wand that they can use to look in your mouth and take pictures which are broadcast on a flat screen tv in the corner of the room that you can see to view what they're looking at. Also they can bring up the x-rays on the computer screen to show you within a few seconds as well. Dr. came by mid cleaning to do his inspection so that made the whole process very streamlined. There was no waiting in the chair. I was only in the waiting room a few minutes until I was seen. Overall a great experience. read more

Most people fear the dentist. I only the other hand love going to see my dentist. Simply put - Dr. Tseng is the best dentist. I have referred so many people to him and they still thank me for the referral (years later). I also have to mention that my hygienist (Melinda) is amazing. Had a tooth pulled by Dr. Tseng he knocked out another tooth in the process and proceeds to say It was weak anyway! Had a crown made they lose it . When I complained he was arrogant and said if I'm not happy leave! The only reason there busy they take all insurance! Good luck understanding him as well! Staff always changing! read more

Front desk staff is super nice but I got here 10 minutes early with all my paper work already filled out and my appointment was 30 minutes late... Getting off work early to sit and wait is super frustrating but it was the end of the day and I understand how things get pushed back. Just a tip if you go to DDG - when you check in, ask them to tell the hygienist or dentist that you are there. I sat in the waiting room for 25 minutes yesterday and when I finally got in to see the hygienist, she told me that nobody had told her I had checked in. Incidentally, the appointment was for my 6 monthly check up and cleaning but I was told when I got in the chair that my dentist wasn't in that day, so I would have to come back for the check up part. Like I haven't got better things to do than have to go twice for one appointment. read more
