I (like most people) dread the idea of oral surgery and was worried when my regular dentist explained that I would need to have two molars extracted due to a crown that was never quite right and caused the decay of the adjacent tooth. Long story short, my experience couldn't have been better. The staff was very friendly and understanding and the doctor did an amazing job. The teeth were removed and the recovery was virtually painless, even with just ibuprofen. I would certainly recommend Dr. Alkhatib and OSA in Fairfield.

The name of my most capable hygienist is Sandi, not Cindy. Unkowingly I have been call her by the wrong name all these years. Sandi is very dexterous and thorough in cleaning my teeth. She is so experienced that she knows all about my teeth in and out. I know that I am in good hands caring for my teeth. You must ask for Sandi if you need to clean your teeth. As for Dr. Wasserlauf, I just had a tooth implant, for the first time under his care. He was amazing! While he was working on my tooth, I did not feel what was going on in my mouth. He prescribed pain medicine for me but I did not need it since there was no pain in my mouth after the surgery. Dr. Wasserlauf restored all my teeth to good condition that were very badly looked after by a dentist when I lived in Hong Kong. Without Dr' Wasserlauf's care I would have been wearing dentures at a young age. Dr. Wasserlauf is capable, conscientious and caring beyond monetary gain. Do not hesitate to visit Dr. Wasserlauf and/or Sandi for dental care. They are the best!

It had a profoundly…read morenegative impact on my teeth, the result being that I faced having either upper and lower conventional dentures or implants and upper and lower permanent dentures. After consulting with a couple of implant specialists and general dentists, I met with Michael Sonick, whose reputation as one of this country's top implant specialists I was aware of. From initial consultation to the surgeries where my teeth (such as they were) were removed and the implants placed to the follow up visits, he was meticulous, supportive, and always available via his cell number. His office staff, dental assistants, and hygienists were terrific. It's a long process to get this done correctly, but well worth the time. I never thought to review a dentist on Yelp. While I'd prefer a restaurant every time over a visit to the dentist, I'm delighted with my choice of practitioners. There's nobody better. 10 Stars!

None of the dentists here compare to him. I saw a dentist in NYC and felt compelled to go back to CT and pay a visit to Dr. Wohl for a second opinion. He knows all the current trends in dentistry - he whitened my teeth for my bat mitzvah (13 years ago) when Zoom! whitening first came out. I went to get them whitened again last year in NYC and the dentist told me my teeth were still the lightest shade and didn't need to be whitened. I knocked out my front tooth, he put a veneer on it and NO ONE can believe it's a fake tooth. He is an artist. Everyone loves Dr. Wohl - I would confidently recommend him to anyone in CT or elsewhere looking for a dentist. Plus all the hygenists in his office and the ladies who work at the front desk are awesome and SO nice. Seriously - best dentist ever.

Also, it is pretty ironic how this place is called Kids First but they rarely ever have times for appointments after school. This place will do whatever is the quickest and easiest for them, leaving the patient with poor results and unsolved problems.
