I will tell you it was more than worth the wait. The entire experience was top notch and Shima and Marsel in particular kept me constantly updated on the status of my car, they were both incredible. I got a great price and was also assisted with many configurator choices as there was so many available. I purchased a 2 yr/20K service when I leased the Macan. I received a message that service was due, scheduled it and, when I showed up, was told that I was 600 miles over my allotted miles (the car had 25600 miles) which voided the service I paid for. Think about this: I pay them to service their car and they refuse demanding more money. This dealership won't be around much longer and, given the atrocious service, they shouldn't be. read more

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE, AND PROTECT YOURSELF. They routinely engage in price gouging, among other things, so you will pay much more than MSRP for anything in demand. Also, DO NOT put down a deposit on any special, premium, or other allocated car. I placed a deposit for such a vehicle more than 5 years ago and was told each year that "they were 80% sure that this was my year," and of course it never was. Later, right after COVID, I was told the same thing, but this time I was also told that if I even wanted to have a shot at the car I'd need to offer $75K+ above MSRP - HALF AGAIN THE BASE PRICE OF THE CAR. So desperate was I to get my dream car, I even agreed but STILL never was given a chance to buy. They will pretend to care about you, but they don't, and will sell the car to whoever offers the most money - even if they haven't been on a waitlist. Worst of all, their reassurance was so frequent and so believable that I turned down multiple opportunities to buy the same car, at MSRP, from several other dealerships, but stupidly turned that down because I believed their lies and I'm a fiercely loyal customer. I even convinced my wife to buy a car she didn't even want from this dealership just to reinforce that I'd be a long-term customer and increase my odds of my number coming up. What a joke. Your loyalty will not be returned unless it's backed by dollars. In the end I was strung along for 5 years, never really having a chance at the car I wanted, while being periodically offered other used cars, standard models, and even different used limited allocation vehicles I wasn't interested in, and which I wasn't allowed to test drive it. In the meantime, I'm sure many other buyers who were willing to throw money at them simply walked right up and bought the car I'd been promised year after year. A contrast in customer service! Danbury Porsche Service Department was willing to accept a stranded customer rather than have a technician plug in a scan tool to reset my engine light. They displayed zero empathy for the situation. Instead they told me if the car didn't start "have it towed to the dealership but they can't tell when it would be looked at". I decided to call Porsche of Larchmont and spoke with the service department and explained the situation. Without hesitation they told me to head over. When I arrived the shop was very busy but the shop foreman made time for me. He plugged in the scanner and reset the engine light saving me from getting stranded. They were awesome! Kudos to Porsche of Larchmont. I will sacrifice the extra thirty minutes to get there and pass by Danbury Porsche on the way. read more

We have bought two brand new Porsche's from Danbury Porsche. We went to purchase a third one and were given what we thought was an insulting trade in price from a car we purchased from them. We returned to the dealership with three different trade in prices we obtained online. The General Manager, Van Kolton, after telling us we should take the deal elsewhere, ripped up the papers with the prices we obtained. The good news is we went to Porsche Brooklyn and were not only treated fairly but also bought a new car from them! Would want people to know that Porsche Danbury does not care if you not only bought two new cars from them but were ready to buy a third. Highly recommend taking the trip to Porsche Brooklyn. It's a shame to not buy local, but they will never get our business again. By the way, we have no relationship with Porsche Brooklyn and they gave us 20% more on our trade in than Danbury where we actually purchased the car. read more

Excellent experience! I called to get my car serviced. The call was answered immediately with no hold time and I was able to set up an apt in less than 15 secs. The apt was scheduled within days and I got a loaner without aggravation. (very different experience from prior dealer). Yesterday was when apt scheduled and Eric, who was waiting for me upon arrival to help me, was extremely efficient and professional. I got there at 8:30am. I mentioned to him that I have to be at work by 1. I was expecting to pick up the car late evening or the next day. Without any hesitation, he promised to have the car ready by 10:30am and he did!! The service department in this dealership is extremely unprofessional and rude. An hour before the scheduled road test of my 2015 Cayenne, which has acceleration problem, the service adviser called me and telling me not to come to do the road test because my Cayenne is supposed to drive like this. He kept on saying everyone who has this year model experiences the same problem and hence, there is nothing they can do. They're just simply too lazy to diagnose the problem. At the end of May I bought a certified 2016 Cayman GT4 with 7300 miles on it. After 28 days and driving it 800 miles, the engine failed. That's a $100,000 car that failed after 28 days of owning it (!). At the time of purchase this dealership refused to provide me with service records for the car citing "privacy" as the reason they could not - promising me that the certification process was a good enough indicator of the car's reliability. The car will be in the shop for about 6 weeks waiting on a new engine from Germany. A week ago I reached out to Danbury Porsche and explained the situation. They stopped responding to me after I asked them to provide me a loaner car while my local dealership handles the warranty claim. Clearly they care very little about selling lemons to their customers or standing by their work. Buyer beware. 1) Completely agree with review that price on front is good, trade-in value is shocking - and I mean shocking - 30% less than other dealerships (4 confirmed offers) 2) The management of this place is rude to a point of absurdity - talk about gun-to-head tactics; with less than 15 min before closing time on a Saturday (last day of business before Monday), even through I had the first deposit on the car, they insisted I sign now or give up the car to the next buyer. The EARLIEST the next buyer could sign a contract was Monday AM; not allowing me the same courtesy was the height of unprofessionalism. The salesperson claimed over and over "he had no leverage" and that his hands were "tied around his back". Pathetic. So, you can honor his word over mine? 3) I have bought cars from 1-man operations to flagship dealers for Bentley and Aston Martin. I don't think I have ever been treated more poorly. Porsche management: job well done. 4) In contrast, when I did have a material complaint with my Bentley, it was addressed personally by the head of Bentley N.A. - who sent a personal letter of apology and also stated that "this is NOT how we do things at Bentley", and that the appropriate steps would be taken to address the matter. Without my asking, he sent an OEM car cover for my GT as a gesture of his goodwill the very next day. 4) I'll be contacting Porsche N.A. about this dealer. I don't expect the same courteous response. After all, why should Porsche care anymore about its reputation than the local Honda dealership? Déclassé and rude. Good luck and God be with you. I'll send a copy of this note to the Dealer for their own edification. I'm sure they will give it its due attention. Will update you all on how Porsche N.A. responds. 5) One last final philosophical point - a car is only as good as the people behind it - it's a pity that Porsche does not get this - and the only remedy is when a member of senior management gets involved to say "hold on - this is not our brand". I will not set foot in this dealership again. Suffice it to say that I had my license plate frame replaced by another dealer because I did not want to advertise Danbury Porsche. I bought a new Panamera here several years ago. The sales experience was less than what I expected from an upscale dealer (who also sells VWs and Audis at the same location but different buildings) but it was ok. I had no trade, so the transaction was easier than others have apparently experienced based on the comments here. The Danbury Porsche service department is unresponsive and unprofessional. The car was delivered with obvious defects. If they had done the checks they claimed to do, they would not have delivered the car without replacing the non-working entertainment/GPS unit. This was ultimately resolved on my second visit (100 miles round trip). Later I had a more serious issue with safety concerns. I brought it in and was told they had no one to do a diagnostic for another week and refused to give me a loaner during that time. I was put on the highway at the risk of a serious accident. The issue involved a part described in the US government database in a report filed by Porsche as defective and "being replaced" but which Danbury Porsche and then Porsche NA refused to acknowledge. This issue was ultimately resolved to my satisfaction only by resorting to litigation with Porsche. Based on professionalism and good results, I would recommend service at Manhattan Motor Cars which is the NYC Porsche dealer. Even though I love my Panamera, based on lack of customer care or concern, I will not be buying another Porsche. Further, the scandal surrounding VW, Porsche and Audi over cheating on emissions devices disclosed an apparent culture of cheating that would make me avoid any of their products. read more

My first visit to this Porsche dealership, and this review is particularly for the service department. Brought in a Boxster S for a Pre-Purchase Inspection. Having minimal experience with a Porsche I thought might as well get it inspected by the pros before even contemplating purchasing the vehicle. You have to book quite some time in advance, for me it was almost 10 days. The process itself was new to me, however Jeff and Bob at the service center made it a seamless experience. They explained to me what they would go over during the inspection. Helped me answer my dozens of questions and even introduced me to a couple of Porsche owners to get advice. Once the inspection was completed, they again reviewed thoroughly what were the "goods and bads" of the cars and in my opinion did a very thorough job. The dealership itself is small and there are plans for expansion, but for a professional service, I would highly recommend this location. read more

The service dept here is abominable. As a woman who's never written a yelp review in her life, I feel compelled to warn others about Danbury Porsche's overall unprofessionalism and complete and utter disrespect for service customers. We've made several visits for a recurring check engine light on our 2006 Carrera S, including the light coming on as we were driving out of the parking lot after having had the car in their service for 2 weeks while out of town. "We just checked it, and it's fine." Interestingly, this was right before closing time - the guys clearly had better things to do and couldn't be bothered to do anything but clear the codes and send us on our way. Mistakenly (and out of logistical convenience due to it being a weekend car) brought it back for a full 60,000 mile service (again with check engine light on) and were assured that everything looked good. Paid our bill for thousands of dollars, and guess what came on about 10 miles away from Danbury Porsche? Elected to drive the car to Porsche Manhattan to have it looked at there, and while on the way, engine began smoking. After needing to be towed, Porsche Manhattan's earliest diagnosis of all the issues that exist include a broken water pump, a broken drive belt and a coolant hose needing replacement due to age.
