As far as I know, this is the only studio that also offers aerial arts in Henderson. My daughter usually has to be convinced to dance, but she has fallen in love with flying and now BEGS to go! Miss Lana is so attentive and cares so much for all her students.

The instructors are skilled, patient, and truly care about teaching. Their positive energy makes every class enjoyable and motivating. The studio is clean, spacious, and has a great atmosphere for creativity. No matter your experience level, you'll find classes that fit. With options like ballet, contemporary, and hip-hop, there's always something new to try. What makes Ignite special is the strong sense of community. Everyone supports each other and shares a real love for dance. Because of this, my son has grown not just as a dancer, but also in his confidence and happiness. If you are looking for a dance studio that combines top-notch instruction, a welcoming community, and a passion for the art of dance, look no further than Ignite and its brilliant owner, Ms. Lisa. I can't recommend it highly enough!

What can I say about Ignite Dance Center?…read more At first, the studio felt very welcoming. The owner was friendly, approachable, and all smiles. Over time, however, our daughter began sharing concerns about her experiences. As parents, we made an effort to follow up appropriately by emailing, and to their credit, we did receive timely responses. Most recently, we reached out regarding ongoing concerns about a staff member whose classroom behavior and treatment of students had been mentioned negatively on multiple occasions. Our daughter reported being yelled at and spoken down to, which prompted us to request a meeting with both the owner and the staff member to address the issue directly. Unfortunately, once the staff member became aware of the meeting, he began posting about parents on social media in a way that felt inappropriate and unprofessional. This only added to our concerns. The meeting itself did not go well. We were met with a level of unprofessionalism, immaturity, and smugness that was disappointing, especially in an environment meant to support children. Competitive dance is a significant investment, and it should be a space that builds confidence and nurtures joy--not diminishes it. What was most concerning was the owner's stated support of the staff member's behavior. While she presents herself as professional, supporting conduct that negatively impacts students sends the wrong message. If you're not part of the solution, you become part of the problem. This was our experience when trying to address concerns at this studio.

However beware my…read moredaughter had her first recital in June and it was TERRIBLE they had strict rules and they bend the rules for other kids. There was even instant where one of the girls didn't show up to a lot of the mandatory rehearsals. Didn't know the dance and still did the recital and ruined it for all the girls that worked so hard. Her performance was terrible and messed up the whole recital. People are still talking about it. We didn't get the video until September. As for price, I would say that they're pretty much competitive with other dance studios as I've been shopping around. However, the recital I. June they make you purchase costumes I spent over $300 for my daughter for just two classes. Other studies rent the costumes they purchase. I should add that the costumes came a size to small and too late because dress rehearsal and pictures were a week or two after that so there was no room for exchange for a bigger size. The owner made barfing sounds at the girls when they were showing them the dance and honestly, that was the first time our kids met her since it was my daughters second time doing a recital there we had no idea she was the owner she's never around. There was a time when my daughter had a private dance and they had to text me last minute to cancel because their AC wasn't working, which I'm glad they text me however they had the girls still dancing that whole week in the heat. It was so sad. The dances teachers and kids were sweating in the studio because it was in the summer and you know how hot it gets here in Vegas in the summer. They do offer makeup classes so if you miss you can make up the class, however that might change since they're changing a lot of policies and they didn't offer that due to the AC being broken. It actually took a while for the AC to work I really think they should have paused classes until the AC was fixed. A lot of of the dancers did leave after the recital and including her friend and now we will be following her friend as well. Goodbye and good luck to everyone at Legacy Dance .

I finally found classes that are interesting and challenging and fun, where we are taught and expected to use proper techniques. It is oh-so-good for the body and mind!

I walked in on a Saturday morning and wasn't able to find anyone to assist. Another patron came in to tell me that I had to walk to the back to possible speak with someone. The atmosphere wasn't very welcoming from the "staff" there that day. I wasn't able to purchase the gift card for my daughter as it seemed the one young lady trying to help me, had no idea how to get one! She had to call someone else to discuss as I waited for 10 minutes. Not to mention the one lady attempting to assist me did not seem to speak English well. Perhaps I went on an "off day" but in either case, I asked my daughter to find another more welcoming facility due to my experience. I couldn't in good conscience direct my daughter to this place if I felt put off. She's young and pretty reserved so I'm sure she too would've felt the disconnect in communication.

I started with the intro classes and I've moved into the regular ones, now. I like how they offer TRUE intro classes, unlike other studios, so if you've never even touched a pole you won't be intimidated. The classes are small so you get more one-on-one attention. This is good if you want the focus, like me, but it also means you can't slack off as easily. They offer lots of different classes, including a Dance & Pole that I really enjoy that combines regular dance moves and pole moves. They have a really good open gym option where you can pay $5 before/after you take a class and have access (otherwise it's $15). I actually have a membership and have unlimited open gym tacked on to it. Either way, open gym is a really good way to practice what you've learned. Because if you're someone like me, you need to do it 20 times before you get it. This place has all sorts of classes if you're not into pole - like various aerial classes. I've only taken a couple of these, as my focus is mainly pole. I do wish they had more pole and dancing classes, but I do enjoy the schedule for the most part. Also, when registering for a class, make SURE you register at least 12 hours in advance, or the class gets cancelled. I learned this one the hard way a couple times. On a random note, this studio owner's dogs are here a lot too. They keep them in the office during classes, but don't be alarmed if you hear barking. They're good about keeping them away if you're not a dog person.
