It took me a year and a half to realize that this place is run by a bunch of liars, con artists and thieves! Don't make the same mistake I did! I had expressed an interest in competing in a competition in Las Vegas. For those that don't know, you not only pay to enter the competition but you also pay expenses for your professional partner (airfare, hotel, ect.). Which I was ok with. I found out from the manager of studio and my professional partner Erin that one of the other instructors (Stephanie) wanted to go but she didn't have any students going so she would have to pay her own way. However, Stephanie had other plans, she wanted to charge myself and another student that was going with Erin for her expenses except she wasn't going to tell us! You see, the studio staff put the expense package together and you pay the studio and they in turn pay the competition organizers. Stephanie wanted to bulk her additional expenses in with all the others and not tell us that we were paying for her as well! I have text messages from Erin to back all this up! Personally, I think Stephanie should have been fired on the spot just for suggesting that but she is considered "family" to the owner (Ryan Keller) and he's the biggest con artist and thief of them all. A few months back I let them borrow some tools (electric drill, a ratchet and accessory kit for the drill, small screwdriver set & drill bits) they were putting together some shelves and doing some other additional maintenance items around the studio. When I had a falling out with them because of their lies and deception I requested that the items be returned. At first he sounded like he was going to return them but that turned out not to be the case. I personally was going through some severe health problems, so severe that I was being tested for several types of cancer which included countless blood tests, a bone marrow biopsy and a P.E.T. scan. I told Ryan this and that I didn't need any additional stress in my life and still this scum of a human being wouldn't return my property! What kind of person does that to someone that was going through what I was? I really hope anyone reading this takes that into consideration! Do you really want to give your money to someone that treats people like that! I didn't get any of my property back until I started writing horrible reviews like this and I still didn't get all of it back! He claims he doesn't have the accessory kit and yet two pieces from the kit were attached to the drill when he returned it. And there's still more... So he brings it to my house and leaves it at the front door. I was home at the time. Instead of ringing the bell or knocking and being a man about it I get a voicemail. He actually says in the voicemail that he rang the bell but he didn't think it worked so he just left. Really??? I don't know about the rest of the world but if I ring someones door bell and I think to myself "I don't think that worked" I'm going to knock on the door! And btw there's nothing wrong with my door bell, it works perfectly fine! The guy is just an absolute coward! He couldn't even return my property like a man! read more

I have always wanted to learn how to dance but just never had the opportunity or, quite frankly, the nerve to go and sign up for lessons. I'd tried some line dancing at our clubhouse and discovered that my dance skills were just about zero and none. Then one day, I found out about Dance Doctors when I picked up one of their flyers at my community clubhouse. I took the flyer home and set it on the counter with the rest of my mail. "I'll read it later," I told myself. Two days later it was still sitting on the counter. So, I moved it to my TCO-ASAP file next to my computer. Well, days later I finally decided I could not keep moving this piece of paper around so I needed to decide what to do about it or with it. I reread it and decided to call and get some more information. To make a long story short, I mustered enough courage to strike out for unknown territory...Gilbert. I'd only lived in AZ about a year and my sense of direction was as bad as my dancing skills. Thanks to my friendly GPS I found Dance Doctors. I walked in and was warmly greeted by Ryan Keller, the owner. The studio itself has an industrial look to its exterior with gleaming aluminum and bright red lettering. The interior is bright and well lit with a gorgeous dance floor. It is quite impressive. There were a few other people there too. I resisted my impulse to excuse myself and say I'd forgotten I had another appointment...and I stayed. Reading that flyer hadn't improved my dancing skills at all and I really struggled through the class. But no one made fun of me so I just keep coming back. The instructors were encouraging, energetic and fun! That was about 6 months ago. During that time I added some private lessons and I am now preparing to actually participate in a performance put on by the students and instructors in November. What I have learned is this. Ryan Keller and his staff are very professional and very talented. They patiently worked with me and have helped me begin to bring that part of my life that was just a dream into reality. I have met a lot of wonderful people along the way because of the social aspect of dancing. We work hard but also have fun together. So if you are someone who, like me, was afraid to try dancing, just try it on for size here at Dance Doctors! If you don't have a friend to bring along, just ask for me. I like making new friends. My wife and I first learned about Dance Doctors through LifeTime Fitness, our gym. After attending a class there, we found out that the dancing studio is just next door, how convenient for us!!! We went to the studio for the group lessons which we considered one of the most inexpensive but high quality entertainment in the neighborhood. By attending the group lessons we also managed to get to know a lot of fun people who share the same passion for dancing as we did. We wanted to advance through the "FAST TRACK" route so we signed up for private lessons. What an amazing transformation!!! We went around the neighborhood to compare the other dancing studios and there were no comparisons in terms of pricing or quality. Dance Doctors is far ahead of the other studios and the atmosphere is incredible. It has been almost 3 months since we signed up and we feel we can dance beyond basic steps under any social dancing environment. The instructors are young, energetic, experienced, and fun to be around with. They work around our schedules for our classes and the learning curve just keep climbing. We do recommend Dance Doctors to anyone who wants to learn to dance, with or without experience or partner. Just give it a try and you'll get addicted. What do you have to lose? read more

This dance studio is amazing, very professional, fun and inspires you to want to learn to dance! I've been dancing here for over a year now and would not choose to go any where else. I started with the group classes and they were a blast and I was able to learn a lot! Erin, Stephanie and Ryan made the classes so fun and really helped when you just couldn't get a step! In January I started taking private lessons after my family had given me gift certificates for Christmas and I really loved it! I'm still taking lessons and have even done a showcase to show off what I had learned. Ryan, who is my instructor, and Erin really made the process fun and exciting! It's really great and rewarding to learn a dance style, then learn a full routine and then to perform it in front of a audience. When my girls turned 11 this year, they wanted to "try" ballroom dancing, so on their birthday, we set up lessons for them and 2 friends. Ryan, Logan, Billy and Erin made it a very special day for them. They loved dancing and have taken a couple of lessons since then. I had checked out other studios in the area and never felt comfortable or had that homey feeling, not so at this studio. I don't know what I would do if I were not dancing at Dance Doctors. Dancing at Dance Doctors has become my exercise of choice as well as a great place to socialize in a comfortable atmosphere. The staff is amazing, they are so fun and they make learning to dance a wonderful experience - every time. They make everyone feel right at home and very special. I was recently looking for a dance studio that was close to home and they are conveniently located in Gilbert just minutes from my home. The studio is bright and the dance floor is great! I mostly like the choices in group classes that they offer. You can dance every night of the week with them at a reasonable rate. They never cancel classes and the schedule changes monthly to keep the lessons fresh and to keep you learning new steps. I have recommended this particular studio to my friends and family and we make it a must each week to attend several classes. I received lessons 1 1/2 years ago as a Christmas gift. Best gift ever!! Going in the first time, more than a little self conscious, the staff and my instructor Ryan, put me at ease immediately. Brand new to partner dancing, I've never had more fun while taking on a new challenge. I've grown so much in self confidence and my confidence on the dance floor because of this studio and its people. They offer it all; social dancing group classes, private instruction, field trips, theme parties, showcases, and competitions. Payment plans are flexible to my budget, fair and affordable. I've made so many friends there that I go out dancing with now too. But its the staff and instructors that keep this studio close to my heart. Dance Doctors is great! I found out about them through a friend who started taking one of their social dance classes at Lifetime Fitness in Gilbert and really liked it. I was taking dance lessons somewhere else but got a discount through the gym and thought I'd check it out. I'm really glad that I did! They have groups classes almost every night , including Saturday afternoon which is convenient. The instructors are fun and energetic, the price is great and you don't need to come with a partner. You get to dance with a lot of different people which is a good way to meet people and also a good way to learn. At some places, the group classes and private lessons are only 45 minutes, but at Dance Doctors they are a full hour for a better price. Bottom line is Dance Doctors is fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get into ballroom dancing or who is already dancing! read more

I've really enjoyed taking group classes and private lessons from this studio! I had looked into other studios and they didn't offer a diversity of classes or price ranges for any budget like Dance Doctors Gilbert does. The instructors are very professional and skilled at not only the technical aspect of teaching ballroom dancing, but learning how each student learns and adapting their teaching methods to each person.
