I took my family there for my daughter's dance show. We live in Broward County. The fee is 35.00…read moreeach to enter. I paid $140.00 in total, plus parking. I have 2 main complaints and that's why I gave 1 star. First, The Master of Ceremony conducting the show, a male and female spoke a few words in English, other than that, the entire communication with the paying audience was in Spanish. In my view, this was entirely Disrespectful and Ignorant. The show was open to many dance groups from South Florida, the dance teacher and some students in my daughter's group do not speak Spanish. We are not in Latin America. Have common sense and speak in English/Spanish when an event is open to the public. Stop thinking that you are in South America. You are in Miami!!!!! Second, the food is overpriced. We ordered some items in which the non-English speaking waitress told a Spanish speaker, who then interpreted to me, that the portion size was significant. The order came and the portion was for a small child. The chicken tasted like burnt oil. The quality was terrible. I will not be returning to Karibe's. Unless you have a lot of tolerance and don't mind going to an event in which you don't understand the language, Spanish, Avoid Karibe's.
