They were amazing. This is the place you want to go because they are honest. I went in to find out about dance sneakers because of some aches I am experiencing from a dance class at the gym. After trying on several pairs of sneakers and some questions from the owner, she gave me advice to change how I dance and that I did not need sneakers. She could have tried to push me into whatever, but she did what was best for me the customer. Overall, an overwhelming great experience. This is one of the only dance supply stores in the area. The staff is very helpful in finding shoes, and knows the local dance studio attire requirements. They pack a lot of dance attire into a small space. You'll find all the tights, shoes, leotards, and accessories that you would need for dance class. They also have some ice-skating costumes and tights. If you know exactly what you need, you might find better prices online. I walked in and an older woman behind the counter just stood there. Another woman came over to ask if I needed help. She got me the shoes my daughter needed, helped me find both sizes of tights I needed and rang me up quickly. She even included their "Back to School" discounts even though they were a day past. I have been coming here for about five(+/- )years now as my daughter's dance school suggests it for purchasing the dance uniforms. Always have been very helpful. Today was no different as my family and I went in and were helped by multiple staff, one was getting her shoes fitted the other was getting her leotard, and another woman asked what school just to make sure we were getting what we needed. AND they offered a wonderful package for her whole out for including shoes at an amazing price! Love it here!! read more

We have been going here for 12 years now. They have always been great. The later hours during times when dancers need to pick up items for upcoming shows is great. They keep my daughters pointe shoes in stock so it is very convenient especially once your dancer narrows down their favorite type. They did a nice job fitting her each time she has needed to make a change. read more

went to get pointe shoes fit, though I more or less knew what I wanted. the woman who helped me was super patient and brought lots of shoes to try. she was honest about what looked good and what didn't work. she also did not pressure me to buy a shoe that wasn't quite right (I needed a different shank strength). while I didn't end up with pointe shoes from dance village, I did buy new toe pads, and will definitely be returning to order shoes in the future. read more
