The absolute best children's dentist there is! Dr. Paige is an absolute blessing and is so wonderful with kids.

Very unkind experience in this office. Children left crying . . . Would not recommend at all.

They are professional. There has never been an issue with me going back with him to get procedures done. The dentist takes time to explain exactly what they are going to do before they start. The office is kid friendly and from the time you go in, until you leave, they honest to goodness treat you like family!

With that surprise showing on my face I said, "that's not what we discussed. No teeth should have been extracted." The dentist abruptly cut me off with, "we have a signed treatment plan" and left the room. Shortly afterwards the receptionist returned to discuss the mix up. A proposed treatment plan different than the one we had signed and paid for somehow ended up in the dentists agenda. I understand that mistakes are inevitable, but I can't understand this level of negligence with no preventive system of checks and balances. Moreover, while after an off handed attempt at blaming us for the mishap by asking questions and discussing all possible scenarios months ago, they did eventually apologize and offer to reimburse the additional funds paid for services not received. However, both the dentist and receptionist were far too defensive and I just don't feel they sincerely regret what has happened. We're home now and I feel just terrible about all of this. We made every attempt and would have spared no expense to get the best possible dental care for our daughter. And yet, here we are with a confused little girl, unnecessarily dealing with perhaps 6 months or a year of eating without front teeth. Perhaps I should have insisted that a parent be allowed to witness the procedure or, well, I don't even know what else to say. This is the worst experience I've had with a medical professional and it happened to my little girl. All this aside, the procedure was at the Kingsport location. The environment was nice, the efforts to entertain and engage the children were great. The staff was quite friendly, until there was a problem. Everything was on point aside from the one thing that mattered.

Volunteer makes it an easier experience for both child and parent. Due to COVID, they have you call upon arrival, share your parking spot number, and wait in your car. When they are ready for you, the hygienist comes out to get you. They are currently (Feb 2022) requiring masks for those inside as well. Once inside, they weigh your kiddo (not sure why?) and bring them back to the exam room. Most X-rays and the cleaning and exam will be done in the same room. It has a child-sized dental chair and a TV mounted to the ceiling for the kids to watch Disney while their mouth is examined. The only time my son left was to get the 360 x-ray done of his mouth. The hygienist and dentist, Dr. Valerie, are great at explaining what they will be doing, patient, and have a calming demeanor that can put even the most nervous, wiggly offspring at ease. The trip to the treasure box doesn't hurt with easing the nerves, either! ;-)

Hello I would not go so far as to say I'm actually look forward to going to the dentist…read moreYet, I can tell you that having dealt with dentist from Beverly Hills (skiing accident) All Across the United States, Hollywood, Santa Monica, ect,.. One thing I can appreciate is quality artistry, I find Dr. Johnson and his staff not only excellent with communication, yet they are conservative, they Actually want to preserve your teeth. ...this is the place you want to be,... And so I really appreciate that... I found out about it because my wife is a sissy and on top of that she's blonde and I understand blondies have maybe more nerve endings ‍ She is super sensitive, pain adverse,....she cannot have a dentist in any way shape or form that does not recognize her sensitivity, and so that's the reason we are now with Elite dental.
