I have complicated insurance needs - from properties to umbrella to earthquake and once you factor in my parents, sisters... its a mess. We worked with a local Farmers Insurance office for years. However, they were too understaffed to give us the attention we needed. I always felt like a burden with them - and yes I can admit I am a high maintenance client. We started using them in 2009 for our auto and homeowners insurance after a giant national company (rhymes with "Hate Farm") hiked our rates over 20% without a peep or us filing a claim, saying the costs to insure STL historic homes had increased as much in a single year (2008, when the values of home were decreasing). A neighbor of ours recommended Naeger, who immediately found us several cheaper policies with the same amount of coverage. When we wanted to continue coverage on our unoccupied home and our insurance company didn't cover unoccupied property, I'm sure they could have made more money by writing us a new policy. Instead, Joe called the company and convinced them to bend the rules to help us. An insurance company, bending the rules to help someone, you say? It was magic - bizarre and amazing magic!
