I got a fair rate (as I shop) with a reputable insurance company, and an agent that understood my needs because they listened. I moved my homeowners as well as my vehicle insurance from AAA insurance. (would NOT recommend AAA!!) Donny was who I spoke with there. Horrible, rude, unprofessional and illegal! Over the years they have made several mistakes and we just dealt with it because we have over 8 family members using his company. We finally cancelled our insurance weeks before our next premium was due and received a voicemail from Brent Mathany stating it was cancelled. But they still took out the next months payment and refuse to answer our phone calls. We are a one income family and need the money ASAP. This is ridiculous and I hope it never happens to anyone else. read more

I wanted to write an updated review about how amazing Brent and his team have been throughout the last year. Since insuring our house, we have also insured my engagement ring through him and a new car. The process of insuring the ring was a breeze. Erica took care of me through the phone and within minutes i received a copy of my declaration page in my email. Same goes with when I purchased a new vehicle. Brent switched out my old car for my new car and kept the same policy and the price difference was pennies. It took less than 10 min over the phone to do everything and when I was off the phone I already had my temporary insurance card in my in-box. He is very professional, quick, and to the point. Its interesting that many customers, including me, look at State Farm through the lens of providing Auto, Life or Home insurance. State Farm actually has the capability to do so much more. I had a recent hiccup with my health care insurance and not really having key knowledge on how to solve it, I finally called Jane at State Farm, to see if they could lend some assistance. Not only did they assist, but Jane immediately set me up with an evening meeting with Brent, at my request, and they proactively solved my issue. I was requesting an evening meeting on short notice and Brent and his team made it seem like it was no problem at all. Not only do you get exceptional customer service with Brent and his team but you also get substance and solutions. Truly a great agent. This is what I remember from the relationship my Dad has with his State Farm Insurance Agent when I was growing up. Brent is knowledgable, takes the time to know your situation and explain things, make recommendations and explains the rationale etc. Extremely professional. Office staff is great too.
