I have been putting off having a spot on my leg for quite some time. I asked a friend if she had a dermatologist she liked as my previous experience with a couple was not comfortable. She recommended Dr Behroozan. He made me feel comfortable as soon as I met him. He asked why I was there, took care of me and explained what he was doing making me feel comfortable during the procedure. His staff are all friendly and helpful. Dr. Behroozan is the most self-confident professional I have encountered in the Los Angeles area. He has a no-nonsense personal approach to his practice. I visited the Santa Monica location where the office is clean, bright and the staff is exceptional. They are passionate about their practice, well-informed of insurance policies, and welcoming. Without question, Dr. Behroozan is the ONLY dermatologist I would reccomend. He performed (2) biopsies with ease and precision and I have a follow-up visit within 10 days. I will have several cysts removed from my scalp, too. With a history of skin cancer (10 years ago), I know he will uncover my issues and I will be on the road to better health. I had a bit of an emergency that needed immediate tending to. I called these guys and they were able to see me the same day. The staff was super nice and super helpful. The doctor was able to diagnose my problem, which was the result of lime juice and sunburn on a recent trip to mexico and resulted in some gnarly burns appearing on my hand. He took care of a huge blister on my right hand and even let me record him and the nurse pop it so I could send it to my mom! I'm insured and it was a decent price as far as I'm concerned. The only downside, you need $3 cash for parking. I didn't have any, but showed the parking guy my situation and he was gracious enough to let me park off the lot but watched my car so I wouldn't get a ticket. That guy gets 10 stars! Dr. Behroozan calls it as he sees it and does not try to up sell you anything. Last year, I saw him on three separate visits over several months because I had a small bump on my face that looked like a cyst. I wanted Dr. Behroozan to drain it/laser it/remove it. Dr. Behroozan advised me repeatedly to leave it alone instead of operating on it as I repeatedly requested. It was there for months but he was 100% right-- the "cyst" disappeared on its own months later. I am so grateful for his advice when he obviously had a financial incentive to treat it. I also asked Dr. Behroozan for help with the mild acne I had as a thirty-something year old Asian female. He put me on a skin regimen that was very helpful. I also asked about seeing his aesthetician for monthly treatments (Dr. Behroozan did not push this at all). I began getting monthly treatments with the aesthetician who has been working with Dr. Behroozan, Christine, since October-ish of last year. Christine is THE BEST!!!! I have had other aestheticians work on my face before but she is ABOVE AND BEYOND all the others in skill and knowledge. Not only is Christine super fun to talk to, but she is extremely thorough with extracting all the gunk from your face. I've never had any scarring from the extractions. She uses a diamond-tip for the microdermabrasion treatment (which is better than crystal I believe) and is very careful to run the wand over your face several times to make sure she gets every square inch. I usually have to return to work and my face is never red or puffy after seeing Christine. Christine applies a soothing mask to my face after the extractions and treatment (I usually get microdermabrasion but I tried the glycolic chemical peel once and that was FANTASTIC) and I think a moisturizer. I really don't know what she applies but it's magic! My skin is ALWAYS clear and no one at work has ever commented that my face appeared red or swollen in any way. I am completely hooked on Dr. Behroozan's products (I use his vitamin C oil and spf 40 tinted moisturizer) and I visit Christine religiously every month. I cannot recommend this office, in particular, Christine, highly enough. The products and treatments are reasonably priced; I would definitely see Christine/Dr. Behroozan if you have any kind of skin problems. After using Dr. Behroozan's products for a year plus now and my monthly treatments with Christine, my skin has never looked better. I receive compliments on my skin all the time now! read more

Dr. B and his staff have taken care of my skincare needs for the past 4 years. They are passionate and genuinely care for their patients. Dr. B is honest, knowledgeable, and experienced. I was referred to his office by a former employee who insisted he was the best in West LA/ Beverly Hills. I first saw Dr. B for a strange 2nd degree burn on my hands from lime juice and sun exposure. I searched endlessly on the internet for a cure and nothing worked. Dr. B immediately gave me a diagnosis and within 12 hours of treatment my burns were healing and manageable. Dr. B advised that I also do a skin check since I have lots of moles and a history of skin cancer in my family. He has since removed 5 moles, 4 of which were concerning and 1 was actually the stage before melanoma. At the age of 25, I would have never taken this condition seriously if it wasn't for Dr. B's concern for my well being. I've also seen him for acne and scarring. Dr. B has his own line of skincare products and I was pleased with the results from using them. I was even more pleased that he took the time to explain the science behind a healthy skincare routine. I started seeing Christine in preparation for my wedding and she completely transformed my skin. I was treated by Dr. Behroozan a few year ago. The staff and the dr only cared about collecting money from the patients. I was charged $350 for no show when my father had to be admitted to the emergency room with his chemo complications. I explained about this unforeseen situation to them but they showed no sympathy and only showed me the bill. Would never recommend this money greedy place!! read more

Dr. Behroozan is a knowledgeable doctor who is very sensitive to his patient's concerns. I went to him with periodontal dermititis which I've had for 12 years and had yet to find successful treatment. He gave me a few medications and asked I let him know how they worked. Some did and some didn't, but he was patient with the process and trusted me. Now, after treatment, my skin is finally clear! He was aware of the cost of some medications and always gave me coupons and samples. He worked within my insurance to give me the best possible prices for all treatment and prescriptions. My insurance has changed an does not cover him anymore, however I will never go to another dermatologist. I have been to several over the years and have never seen results or gotten the kind of personal attention and thoughtfulness exhibited by Dr. Behroozan and his staff. Highly recommend! read more

I've had nothing but good experiences while visiting Dr. B. I have only been to the Santa Monica office but I will talk about one particular experience. I had a very abnormal mole and Dr. B wanted to get a sample right away, within a couple of days of getting the sample tested I was told I was a stage before melanoma. Dr. B operated and removed enough of the tissue and still managed to patch it up very nicely. So I ended up popping my stitches and he quickly allowed me to come in the next day and get stitched back up. After a double stitching I was good to go. My scar doesn't look bad at all even after popping the stitches. Every checkup Dr. B is very through and quick. read more

I got adult acne in my late 20s and it was driving me crazy, tried a bunch of different things and nothing worked. I saw Dr. Behroozan and Christine and my skin is completely clear now. All the acne has settled, my pores are so much smaller, and now I'm able to go out without wearing makeup which I haven't been able to do in years. I love Dr. Behroozan! I developed this weird rash on my back a little over a year ago, while I was living in San Francisco. Since I was in SF at the time, I had to see a different dermatologist, who ended up giving me the WRONG medication for what I had. When I moved back home to LA with the rash getting worse, I went straight to Dr. Behroozan and he knew right away what what was wrong and prescribed the correct prescription. Problem solved! He has also performed tattoo removal on me. It's not complete yet (I have a few more sessions to go), but I'm getting great results so far. His price is more than fair and he always makes sure I'm comfortable (and nice and numb!) before the procedure. I've also gone to him for acne flare-ups and a little eczema and he always takes care of me. I would agree with other reviewers that the visits are short, but that doesn't mean he's not thorough! He is a very smart guy, knows his stuff and it doesn't take him long to diagnose or treat...at least that's been my experience and I've been to him over a dozen times over the past few years. I also find him to be very personable and caring. He always asks how I've been, how my husband's doing, what's new, etc... He's very honest and not pushy about anything. I remember I asked about a procedure once and he said, "No, you don't need that". Now that's an honest guy! The office is modern, super clean and the front desk staff has always been very friendly to me. Additionally, the medical assistants are incredibly sweet. They always seem excited to see me and ask me how I'm doing. I usually only have to wait 5 minutes, 10 minutes tops, so I was surprised to read that others have had longer waits. Maybe it's because I always book in the morning, but I have never had to wait long. I highly recommend Dr. Behroozan. He's great at what he does and he's a super nice guy. Worst experience ever. First of all, when I was trying to check in, the receptionist took three calls while talking to me, never excusing herself, just picking up the phone and looking down. After 45 mins of waiting, they walked me back. The person that called me never introduced herself. In fact, I have no idea who she was. When we got to the room she just started asking questions. When my answers were vague, she got irritated and stormed out of the room. I have never seen such unprofessional service. Avoid this place. A companies staff is a representation of the whole organism; if quality service is important to you, there are other options. read more

After seeing countless (seriously, we're talking 10+) dermatologists in the West Los Angeles/Beverly Hills/Hollywood area over the past 10 years who were amazingly ineffective in treating my persistent adult acne, I found my skin savior in Dr. Behroozan!!! First off I will say that i have been to many dermatologists and Dr. Behroozan has won the spot in my heart as my favorite. I initially scheduled an appointment to see if I couldn't do something about my mild adult acne but while I was sitting in the waiting room decided I would double up and ask about some mild facial paralysis I had. I have had a paralyzed facial nerve on one side of my face since a childhood accident and as a result I was only able to lift one side of my forehead. This caused only half of my forhead to lift with expression. I had been unhappy for a long time with the way my face looked because I always felt people were seeing the unevenness in my smile. The Doctor recommended I go ahead and try Botox and I could not be happier I did. The Botox evened out my face without making me look frozen and emotionless. I really appreciated that the Doctor took the time in the room with me to explain the procedure as well as work with me to understand how it would effect my looks. He also took time to address my acne and I started seeing his medical esthetician for procedures as well. The office is convenient, quick, and the staff is wonderful. Doctor Behroozan has always shown himself to be a caring & concerned doctor about his patients, & displays an impressive level of professionalism regarding their welfare, both mentally & emotionally. My wife had to be hospitalized suddenly last year because of a growth above her eye that kept getting progressively worse. Not only did Doctor B recommend a stellar plastic surgeon while she was in the hospital, the talented Dr. Zarabbi, but he has given her many samples gratis over the years for being a good customer & worked with our situation when it turned out that a prescription he had given her wasn't covered by my medical plan, so he ended up just giving her a tube on the house. I have nothing but good things to say about him. I've seen some of the negative reviews from others on this site, & I would urge you to give him another chance as anyone can have a bad day. I don't even begin to think bad things about a restaurant until the third time I visit, so I would think doctors would merit a bit more consideration than just one visit. read more

I've visited this office a few times for laser hair removal and each visit has been a success! I've tried out various places for hair removal and Dr. Behroozan absolutely has the most advanced and newest technology available for laser hair removal. The machine they use is top notch and almost painless. I've visited other laser hair clinics and their machines require some sort of gel application before each use. Do not take the cheap route and go to one of these clinics - it's not worth it in the end. The machine Dr. Behroozan, "Candela Gentle Max Pro", actually shoots out a cooling/numbing agent before EACH laser, and you barely feel anything! Furthermore, the office is extremely clean, spacious, and the staff is wonderful. Thank you Taylor for your work!
