Only gave 1 star because I had too. I manage a local hotel. One of my guest requested a cab service. I called Yellow Cab. Allowed the guest to speak to them and arrange transportation. The dispatcher was so rude!! After the guest gave the address to the hotel the dispatch hung up in his face. Not even answering the man's question. I will never refer this company again.​ read more

I called for a cab and was told that they would be calling someone to come get me. I waited 40 minutes and called them back because I haven't heard from anyone and when I got on the phone with Chris or Charles, I don't remember his name he tells me he's still working on getting someone to come pick me up at 8:50 at night. I told him respectfully you could've given me a call back and told me that you did not have someone available to get me, but you were still working on finding someone. He proceeded to try and argue with me and say that he told me he didn't have someone and he would have to find someone and it would take a while and I told him I wouldn't be waiting around if that was the case I could've ordered an Uber or got someone else to pick me up if there wasn't going to be a timeframe on when someone was going to show up to pick me up. He was extremely rude and I do not recommend this service. read more

Beyond useless. Have needed them for my commute the past couple weeks and it's a minimum 30-45 minutes responding to calls on or less than 2 miles from Fort Gordon, where they have a contractual monopoly; often takes longer, if they make it to the correct destination at all. Dispatcher hung up on me when I complained about waiting an hour in 100 degree heat for a cab they cancelled because they said I wasn't outside the pickup location (which is known to everyone who works on post and shows up as the first result on Google when you type in exactly what I said) -- not even a hint of apology for sending the cab to the wrong place or any attempt at customer service. Drivers have also tried to scam me before, charging more than twice the fare for a ride on base even when I pointed at the prices taped to their window. Not recommended for any purpose. Strongly suggest the garrison find another company to contract with that isn't complete garbage. read more

I would rather listen to an Amy Schumer 24 hour marathon than ever call this cab company for their services again. Waited 50 minutes for my cab. Dude finally arrived, sees me hailing him, and then dashes off saying "I need to drop off this group first, I will be right back." He drops off the group in the cab prior and comes back 42 MINUTES LATER. BRUH. The only good thing about the company is that the operators for the most part seem to be respectful. Sad that they have to be lumped in with these bozo cab drivers. read more

Called at 11pm to set a 3:30am reservation to airport. At 3:35pm I called them back since cab was not there. Was told cab was enroute...would not give me an eta when I asked. 5 minutes later I receive a text informing me that a cab has been dispatched. My reservation was clearly ignored and pointless. At 4am cab arrives (half hour past my reservation TO THE AIRPORT). Note: if you are accustomed to your Uber's standard of cleanliness, be prepared to adjust your standard downward significantly. That said, it was your typical taxi standard of cleanliness and I was just thankful it didn't smell like a homeless shelter. Trip was quick. Driver was surprised that I didn't have $161 in cash and was not prepared to take my credit card. This is despite the fact that the website very clearly states that major credit cards accepted. Nevertheless the driver took the time to locate his square swiper, and when he couldn't find it, he figured out how to do it manually. All being said, I'm giving the extra star because the driver was very friendly and polite. My advice if you are reserving a cab, anticipate they may be half an hour late. read more

Please believe the 1 star reviews. Ordered a taxi for an early morning pickup and it just didn't show up. When I called the dispatcher, she couldn't tell me if it would be there in 5 minutes or 1 hour. Scrambled to find another taxi at 5:30am and thankfully barely made my flight. I called the night before to request an early morning taxi to take me to the local airport. Cab arrived at 10 past the requested time, which was fine for me. Like anything, you should always build in a time buffer just in case. My driver was very friendly and got me to the airport on time and with no issues. Would use again. read more

Everyday of every week this cab is busy but when my driver picks me up he tells me he just dropped a client off in the area and could have come, for me, and dropped me off on the way...Faye it's either illiterate, unprofessional or just outright inexperienced..i mean you could have alot more business instead of these drivers burning gas to run in circles all night... but who cares about the little guy the company makes their money off top bc these guys own their cabs or just let us call the driver dang.. read more

I ran into car trouble so I needed a cab to get me to my appointment on Fort Gordon. I made the call at 08:20. I received a text @ 0826 saying that there's a yellow cab app. At 0838 another text said the cab was on its way. It didn't actually show up until 0858. I assumed that there are a lot of taxis on base ready to go and I only live 10 minutes from the gate. My appointment was at 0900 so of course I didn't make it. Not the cabs fault but I really expected faster service. Perhaps I should lower my expectations next time. The driver didn't even bother turning on the meter. Sounds like an easy way to get "a tip" or to keep all the money because you never charge anyone. 3 Stars because I arrived safely. read more

By far the worst cab service I've ever used. I've literally had to wait for a cab in 30 minutes numerous times just for them to be mad at me for not giving them a tip. Today I called a cab at 1:50and I'm still sitting outside and it's 2:20. And you would think that on base they would be a lot speedier. No, they take their sweet ass time and that's why you don't get a tip from me. I wish I could give them negative stars, one is too good for them. If you're on Fort Gordon, they're hell bent on stuffing the cab with as many as possible rather than providing decent experience. Tonight I was left waiting over an hour for a ride back to base. I still tipped the driver, as it wasn't his fault, yet voiced my complaints. I was also greeted to very rude service 45 minutes after my initial call to get a ride. They need to get better, or hire more drivers to meet the needs of not only Augusta GA, but all of Fort Gordon as well. read more

I waited an hour for a cab to the gun range. I called multiple times and the dispatch lady who seemed nice said she was sending a cab out to me. After the cab showed up the driver was very rude. Never taking a cab again as long as I'm at Fort Gordon. read more
