I will say they arrived on time with enough people and equipment they were fast but they weren't thorough, they were supposed to take out a big down oak tree but it looks like they just cut a few limbs off and even left branches laying on the ground instead of bringing them to the burn pile, also they cut a few other little trees for me that were leaning over the house but they broke some limbs on other trees and didn't cut them off. Plus Daniel when he came out said they would clear out all the dead stuff for me and they didn't even do that. The night of Dec 3rd, we lost our oldest and largest oak tree in the field just above our parking pad. It consisted of three large trunks joined just above the ground. They split and fell in three directions, one just missing our car parked below. I had no experience clearing a tree this large. I began calling around Monday morning and got in touch with Daniel Hovarter Tree Services. Dan was out the same day and gave me a free quote. I approved the quote and Dan his crew was on site Wednesday at 8am. By the end of the day, they had cleared more than half of the downed tree. He said they would be back on the following Monday as we had discussed earlier, but depending on the weather, they may be back sooner. Dan was able to come back on Friday and they finished the job. I was so impressed with their work that I hired him to come back this week to work on another oak tree closer to the house with the same multi-trunk growth, with one trunk aimed right at the house. They have finished that job, also. Dan and his crew were very professional with attention to detail. They have a great team. They were always on time. Besides cleaning up hauling away all the heavy logs, they chipped and spread the smaller pieces out into my field. We had them come out and remove at least 7 trees. They cut the trunks down and stacked them neatly, they also spread the shavings around instead of just lumping them in a pile for us to deal with. Fantastic! It started with just calling them up, Jennifer in the office was so friendly, got back to me right away. Very organized and pleasant to talk to. Set appointment. Daniel came up and not only gave us a very fair price, he walked our land with us and gave us great advice on how to take care of certain trees we had no idea about ( just bought the house three months ago) We had 9 big trees that needed to come down most very close to the house with two big cedar trees right up against the house.
