I cannot recommend Daniel enough! His knowledge and attention to detail is unmatched. He is highly responsive. I have him check our roof about once a year to identify any problems BEFORE the rains come. This morning, he flew a drone over my roof to get an initial sense of broken tiles because we had holiday lights installed. I'm glad I did because we have many broken tiles. We had several people come out and give us a quote on a leaking ceiling in the master bedroom and their prices were outrageous. They would just look at our ceiling give us a price and leave. It just didn't feel right. I came across Daniel's yelp account and I saw his picture and for some reason I felt like I could trust him. I contacted Daniel through Yelp regarding a house my husband and I are in escrow on. During the home inspection, we found there was a possible roof leak. The sellers weren't being very honest or open about the information regarding the leak, so our realtor recommended getting a roofer out to the house to inspect the issue. I contacted about 10 different roofers on Yelp that had decent reviews. Leslie, who is the office contact, responded to me and honestly, she was the only reply that was very professional and quick to respond (thank you for this). We needed a roofer to the house ASAP since we were on a very tight schedule. Leslie was able to set up a time within just a few days of me contacting them. Daniel was running a little late, but Leslie contacted us ahead of time to let us know, which I thought was awesome. When he showed up, he got straight to work. He was able to find the issue within 10 minutes. Within a day, we had a full report written up, as well as multiple pictures! We were able to feel confident to approach the sellers and ask for a credit to fix this issues found because of the detailed information he gave us. Thank you, Daniel! We hired Daniel to fix a leak in our roof. He did not come at his scheduled times on every occasion we booked. After multiple no shows, he arrived late. no regard for our time and the fact we took off work to be available during his scheduled time. The next time it rained, the roof continued to leak, the problem was not fixed. We reached out and he sent his son to try and complete the job he was hired for. Next rain, it was still leaking. We reached out again, he said he didn't know why it was leaking and asked for an additional nearly $3000 dollars to try and fix it. This guy has no idea what he is doing and doesn't stand behind his work. Go anywhere else, I cannot recommend hiring him. read more

Daniel installed a new roof on our house. Over $80,000. Shortly after, some shingles started to slide off the roof. He was very good at coming out and fixing it the first 4 or 5 times. During that time we discovered a leak around the chimney. He worked on it and it actually got better but still leaked. When I told him that he came out and worked on it again but gave me an invoice. I was not happy but paid him. Since then other shingles are sliding off the roof. When I called they told me there would be a charge for time and labor. If the job was done correctly they would not have to keep coming to the house to fix it. Based on his track record I see no reason to pay him any more money and will find a roofer that can fix his mistakes. Rather pay them than him. During the rainy season we noticed a leak coming into our kitchen. Having used and being very satisfied with his work on a leak we had in our living room several years ago, we didn't hesitate to call Daniel. Daniel has been working on the homes in this area since they were built back in 1989, just as he was coming out of high school, so he is very familiar with the neighborhood. Arriving about 1/2 hour early, 7 AM rather then 7:30, on this past Friday 07/22/2016. They explained, understandably, that they'd like to get started before the heat grew too intense. By the time they finished around 12:30 PM, it had gotten up to 113 degrees here in Saugus! Fortunately they had plenty of water, some 2 1/2 gallons, and access to my downstairs bathroom. Update: we had a second roofer come out and he was easily able to determine the problem as a crack under a roof tile. While he was up there he stated Daniel Roofing essentially did nothing. This man's whole business practice seems to be throw it against the wall and hope it works all the while charging you more and more while not standing by his work and ignoring emails asking him to answer for his work. read more

Well, this review is a bit late, but.... better late then never. After calling my insurance and asking for a recommendation, they referred me to Service Masters (Big Mistake). Service Masters while there are many locations this particular one was horrible to say the least. So, after researching myself I called about 8 roofing companies and finally I found a roofer that didn't give me the "I'm to busy for you". Daniel came out to my home he was very professional and honest. Daniel gave me a quote and I asked him when he could do the job? He said " is tomorrow morning okay?" Done!!! He asked if he could start at 0800 hrs I told him that was great ( Being on time is a per peeve of mine) so the next morning at 0730 hrs there was a knock on my door, a pleasant surprise. Daniels Guys got started and were finished by noon!! The Guys left my backyard actually cleaner from when they got here. My roof leaked after some heavy rains. All the roofers in the area were too busy to even contact me, but Daniel Roofing contacted me and set an appointment. When Daniel came out he quickly found the problem and showed me a photo of the broken tile and damaged paper. He quoted me a fair price and his crew came out an hour later and did the job. When his crew came out they brought some tiles that matched my broken one. They then walked the rest of the roof and found another broken tile (which hadn't yet caused a leak) and replaced it. I offered to pay extra since they did more work than was originally estimated, but Daniel said, "Nope, no extra charge." It rained heavily the next two days. No leaks now. The winds in Santa Clarita can be fierce at times. My original roof on my manufactured home sustained wind damage to the point of water leakage during rains. Daniel's crew patched it once, at my request, which lasted for a good 7 years but was only a bandaid. This time there were many shingles missing from the wind. I decided to just have the roof completely re-done, along with my shed roof to match and a tubular skylight for the hallway. Daniel, Noah, and the crew were amazing. They all worked together like a finely oiled machine. They tore off the old shingles and updated the plywood where needed, replaced old fixture and installed new roof vents, installed new felt and flashing, and finally the beautiful new comp shingles that I selected. During the work, they kept the area picked up. Two days after the roof was complete, we had a pretty good storm come through with wind and rain. Was I happy I had my new roof! Daniel and his team came in to fix a roof leak we found in our newly purchased house. Our work was originally scheduled for over a month out, but when the forecast began predicting rain Daniel re-arranged his whole schedule to get us in before the rain came and help us prevent further damage to the house. I cannot recommend Daniel Jones of Daniel Roofing enough. After having had a recurring roofing problem supposedly "fixed" 3 times within the last year, I finally contacted Daniel Roofing after checking out his license and 5 Star Yelp reviews. Daniel Jones, the owner, arrived at the appointed time, inspected my roof, explained issues of concern and gave me a reasonable estimate to perform repairs. I had also called two other roofing contractors for estimates, so I waited to hear what they had to say. Boy, was I surprised! All three roofers gave a different diagnosis ranging from a relatively inexpensive simple repair, to completely tearing off my entire roof and replacing it for thousands of dollars. I again called Daniel Roofing's office and spoke with a very pleasant lady named Leslie, explained my confusion over such disparate diagnosis, and she offered to have Daniel come out again just to be sure. Daniel came out again, re-inspected my roof, and confirmed his initial diagnosis and estimate. After a few scheduling issues, Daniel himself arrived and made all necessary repairs within the reasonable price he had previously quoted me, all before the rain arrived. Daniel's bid was the lowest estimate, he always arrived on time, and did exactly what he said he would do, amazing. I waited to write this review until after it rained a few times to verify that Daniel correctly diagnosed and repaired the problem once and for all. I will never call another roofing company after dealing with honest, dependable, professional, and skilled, all around nice folks like Daniel and Leslie. Leslie even made a follow up call and we scheduled Daniel to look at another minor problem not related to the original issue, which Daniel fixed on the spot.
