If I could, I wouldn't put any star at all. They lied to me and made me feel good about being represented by their team and got all my information and my prior history with Being in accidents and continue to make me feel like they were gonna do the most and go above and beyond to make sure I got compensation from the 18 Wheeler that hit me from behind while I was at a red light! They mislead me for over a year making me think this was my best choice! And when it came down to the second offer, which was extremely low, considering it was gonna be split multiple ways because of medical bills chiropractors, and other specialist! They then told me that they were not so confident as they thought they were all the way until the offers got made! They knew about my prior history with vehicle collisions and to say that is the reason they were nervous and not willing to go to court and sue the 18 wheelers insurance company! Why make me believe that they were willing to go all the way and take it to court and sue the insurance company when they knew they weren't gonna do it at all, and they were not confident! They used me for a check and said they would take care of my medical bills, but they didn't take care of all of them! They use the medical suggestions with specialist in order to fatten up a check so they're half is decent! - the medical companies you are referred to up charge costs then when the check is cut they get more for assisting the insurance companies and the Law firm that referred them get more in percentages ; that should be fraud and I'm not sure how it is not! I swear they are con artists and I hope no one falls for their bullshit like I did and people stay away from their manipulative ways. DO NOT USE DANIEL STARK!!! I can't say this enough. My daughter was in an accident with my parents 6 months ago and we decided to hire them to take the stress of dealing with insurance companies off our shoulders. She suffered an injury to her shoulder from the seatbelt that will lead to surgery if not corrected so she is having to do rehab therapy weekly. We started with one team that hardly contacted us and constantly mixed up information between by daughter and parents, then were given a new team who decided to "return her case" after a couple of weeks and zero communication from the actual attorney. They said there isn't enough financial loss since we are using private health insurance and they don't even have all the records yet and what they do have is incorrect. We have spent 6 months dealing with poor communication and lack of common sense from these people just to have to start from square one with the insurance companies now. I was in a car crash about 1 yr ago. I lost a paid off car, had to get a used car a height of used car market, i had injuries to deal with etc. Insurance settled for 50k. I received 10k, attorney got 18K, wth. I had friends that are chiropractors and paralegal and all agree that was a low settlement. It is not a law but a gentlemens agreement that attorneys and medical take a reduction to equal things out. Also, my 4 shots of Corticosteroids which are normally around 1200 a piece came out to 18K also. I got a basic , not itemized breakdown of cost. Dont trust anyone from this firm. I wish I had better things to say but this is going to save someone headache and frustration. So I called this place right after I got rear-ended on October 1st 2021. Representative took all the information and assured me that they are willing to take this case. I made sure I told them that I've been previously in another accident and underwent treatment, they told me it was not a problem. Days go by and another person calls me to get more details and ask me what chiropractor is more convenient for me and we set all that up. Than a week after the accident they call me and say that they don't know how "to add value to your case" and made it obvious they don't want it. After trying to get some answers he would just keep repeating the same thing "we don't know how we can add value to your case". I went ahead and hired a smaller law firm and a few months later we settled for almost $11k. One of the negotiation arguments of the at-fault insurance company was why did I not get treatment the first week after the accident and that did not look good for case. The only reason I didn't undergo the treatment was because Daniel Stark Law PC told me they want the case and told me they started working on it and in the end dumped it. After 1.5 yrs of seeing doctors and constantly trying to get in contact with my lawyer, they were going to give up on me and not get me any claim because they had sent me to so many doctors it ran up the med bill to over 30k and most auto insurance only covers $30k max. They told me sorry but we can't help you get anything after 1.5 years so I asked them how much the other guy's coverage is and they didn't even know, wow! They checked and found out that the person that hit me had a $250k policy and things changed drastically. Now they want to help me big time! A few days later, I received a call from Laura, a paralegal, and I explained the circumstances of my accident. About a week after that, I received a call from Kristin, an attorney, and she said they had a meeting. During the meeting, they "collectively" agreed that there wasn't a case and would no longer be pursuing any kind of legal action. Without doing anything, not even filing an Open Records request, they "collectively" quit on me. No research. No investigation. Not even asking if there was any video footage. The ER doctor followed a stroke protocol when he examined me. Apparently I had the symptoms of a brain concussion. As a result I was looking for a law firm that was experienced in brain damage. Daniel Stark Attorneys was a huge mistake. They showed no understanding of the details of my case, and kept changing attorneys...the 4th change on the day before mediation. I had to track down the doctor's report which they said they couldnt find (took me one phone call) and then they never read them until I complained.The promises they made at the beginning never materialized. After showing the evidence of a crash, I was contacted by a person who identified themself as Stephen Hooker. I was told that there was not enough evidence to pursue my claim although there is footage of the bus driver admitting that the crash occurred. In my opinion, this guy was paid NOT to help me, but that's okay. Not all personal injury attorneys are out for the money like these guys, and they charge nearly half of a settlement even if it doesn't go to trial. THIS FIRM IS OUT TO HELP THEMSELVES ONLY! Update--After posting this review, I was contacted, by someone who claimed to be Stephen Hooker, about the review that was left. He said tht he was not trying to get me to take down the review, but maybe he didn't explain why he could no longer represent me. My response was, "What is there left to explain?". I am disabled both mentally and physically, I was injured due to a wreckless bus driver hired by Greyhound, and after I was injured, the driver left me in the middle of the desert in 97 degree weather after he told the State Troopers that he would make sure that I got to the next bus stop safely because I reported him for hitting three vehicles and not stopping to render aid. The driver is recorded telling the State Trooper that he would get me to the next bus stop, but he stopped at a Shell station in Fairfield (which has NEVER been a bus stop), argued with a ) year employee after she told him that the gas station had never been a bus stop, and refused to let me reboard the bus. After suffering physical injuries and a mental breakdown, I did not need an attorney to call me explaining why he was too incompetent to take the case! We contacted this law firm when our daughter was hit by a construction company truck driven by a man who tried to out run a red light in College Station, Texas. I thank God that our daughter did not get hurt badly and I thank God for His continue care. Well we've all heard the commercial ads saying no out-of-pocket money until your case is won....yeah right. We had to pay with out-of-pocket money, first thing, for someone to come to our house to get copies of driver's license and insurance information and police report.... etc. And when the hospital starting demanding for us to pay hospital bills I reached out to this law firm for help....their help....telling me to pay up on all those bills with our own out-of-pocket money so our name wouldn't be turned in to a credit bureau. This law firm seemed to have no power nor any pull to negotiate things for us.... I could have done as much myself and made out better and not be out all the money this law firm ended up with. In fact midway through this lawsuit against this construction company this law firm switched lawyers on us and we had to make a one hour trip (one-way) to their office in College Station, to go over everything again with a new lawyer. This lawsuit seemed to drag on and on for several months. And when all was said and done...our daughter received ONLY around $3000 with no physical therapy and no replacement car.
