This happened way too much. And he never returned a phone call. Convinced me to give in when I shouldn't have because all most attorneys care about is money not when a child was being victimized and abused by the other person. Nothing was accomplished not even when my son was kidnapped. Don't waste your money. I would rate at a zero.

As you can see, this law firm is a hit and miss, promised aren't followed through, prices arent bad…read morebut aren't good either for the services given, 4 years 2 months later to get convicted on a misdemeanor that was told id have cleared if I signed for a felony and he looked confused as if he never said that(stapler) two extra misdemeanors that I was completely innocent on that I wanted off my record because I had a whole notarized letter with the state of Texas stamp of approval and a confession from someone else, I was not considered innocent. Only thing that he got me as promised was the felony deal. All in all he wasn't the only problem or maybe he could be who knows, bell county does not recognize and notarized confession with their stamp of approval so obviously bell county, all the judges and prosecutors are pathetic and a joke themselves, they tried to go back on a deal that was signed for a year and a half and throw me in the system as well, the only good part I definitely will say is that stapler kept those fools from locking me up clearly disregarding their deals that they proposed. But once again this is 4 years and 2 months for a weed and gun case, the law firm is pretty pathetic for taking that long to close a simple case like this and bell county court is pathetic and should be embarrassed and investigated by how they go about their due process. Both sides are pretty bad but the law firm had its half decent moments. My advice to anyone in bell county. If you got court in bell county go get you a lawyer that is not from this county because these losers in that building are all "buddy buddy, let's get along because we work together and play golf together" etc type of people, find you a real lawyer that doesn't see prosecutors every day and after 5pm at the bar. So you can have real justice in your favor.

We called nearly every attorney in central Texas, and no one would help us except Manuel. He took his time to listen to us, made us felt like we were his only clients which we weren't. Truly a blessing. When you're going through a difficult time, it's so important to have someone who is truly in your corner, Manual is that person. He is passionate, caring and so good at what he does! I would recommend him again and again.

He came in looking like the weekend was rough, acted like it was a privilege to see him, talked down to us, and would not THOUROUGHLY read ANY of the stacks of documents we had. He kept cutting us off in the middle of trying to explain why we needed assistance. I called and got told to come in, when they could have said "No". I came with all documents. Mr. Beatty comes in the room looking like I interupted the company picnic. It was a 1pm appointment and he strolls in about 1ish. All of this could have been handled over the phone. His office could have taken the time to tell us they weren't equipped unwilling unstead of having me drive all the way down there. I also found it odd I never got a call to confirm my appointment and when I get there I have to ring a bell. He doesn't know what a potential client went through or their mental state. He wasn't concerned. He was focused on getting us out his door like we were bothering him. He already had his mind made up before walking in the room. He lacked any sense of compassion or manners. Go to a lawyer who is going to listen and fight for you instead of fight against you.

Hiring BP Attorneys at Law (BPA) is like buying a boat, the two best days are the day you hire and…read morethe day you fire, in between is just a hole that you throw money into without getting anything back. We hired BPA in August 2023 to have a conservatorship set up for a grandchild. We gave BPA $4500, the anticipated cost, that BPA could draw against. In February we received an invoicing for additional money since the retainer had been depleted. To date, April 2024, the only action that has been completed is the serving of one of the parents notice of the suit in December. That for $4500.....wow. Here is the story, in August I spoke with Tim, Atty, about this case for my brother and his wife requesting a conservatorship of their grandchild that had been abandoned by their daughter. Tim was willing to discuss this and requested $4500 as an estimated cost for this case be put into an account that BPA could draw from monthly. August to December goes by and invoices have been processed and amounts paid. In January an invoice comes in and there is a request for more money as $4500 has already been spent. I attempt to find out what the $4500 had been spent on before I put more money into this account. This is where Krystal steps in and informs me that no one can speak to me because this case is for my brother and his wife. Interesting as they could talk to me about the case originally and were glad to take the credit card number for funding the account. Imagine this, a law firm knows nothing about a confidentiality agreement or an NDA, that my brother asked about and said he would be glad to sign. Still a No Go from Krystal. Then Mr. Pritchard contacted my brother by phone to discuss this situation and my brother understood that I would be contacted, and the information being requested would be provided. I sent a couple of emails to Krystal. Crickets. No contact from Mr. Pritchard or Tim. I sent an email specifically requesting: 1. Statement for the original funds indicating what each billing was for. 2. Status of case indicating what still needs to be done. 3. What the expected expense of getting to the close of case will be. I have asked for an accounting of what exactly the $4500 covered and what the expected future costs will be to complete this case. Crickets. Then in March a new invoice was submitted for $568 for the phone conversations with my brother and reading of my emails to Krystal. Crazy. Then in April a new invoice was submitted for $35 as a late charge. Really. As stated earlier, this is like owning a boat and just throwing money into it. We are dropping anchor. I would consider taking my money and buying a boat rather than hiring this firm, at least you can get some wind in your hair and maybe some fish in the boat or some swimming and skiing for fun.

They are ALWAYS out of town and then nothing happens on your case while they are out of the office. I waited over 30 days for one signature! You ask them a question , they bill you for it without even answering the question. I worked for a lawyer so I know what I'm talking about . I've paid almost 10k and waited over a year and I'm still NOT divorced. If you value your sanity DO NOT use them . They make an already unbearable situation worse !
