I have been to Chiropractors off and on for 20 years. My experience with Dr. Daniel V. Tintor D.C. rates top. I brought him my injuries resulting from an auto accident. I was depressed and discouraged with neck and shoulder tension, stiffness and pain that made driving difficult. My treatment was slow process. I always felt better after an alignment or treatment of moist heat, ultra sound and/or massage. I felt he was experienced, knowledgeable and positive. I appreciated that he took notes and kept up with the paperwork for the insurance claims. I highly recommend Dr. Tintor. read more

Update 5/21 I had three sprained ligaments from my L3 to L5 vertebrae. Had I followed "Dr" Tintor's advice and just go back to normal life as "backs can just pop back into place" I would have serious if not permanent disability. I was hurt at work and needed a Dr. that would see me immediately! I could barely walk, much less get to or from a sitting position. Dr. Tintor fit me in that next morning. After an extensive interview about where I hurt, how I hurt myself, etc.. he hooked me up to some electrodes and heat. He then came in and gave me an adjustment, taped my injury spot and sent me home with instructions to rest and take ibuprofen. He warned me I may be sore that night but to come back the next day for another round of treatment. When I woke up the next day, I was completely pain free!! I returned to him as scheduled, had another round of electronic stimulation and he worked on another part of me that he felt was holding tension and I feel like a new woman!! The only reason I didn't give Dr. Tintor five stars was that I've only seen him once. Being a veterinary assistant, I'm on my feet for 8 hours/day and put strain on my body in unnatural ways daily. I lift animals by myself (up to 50 pounds), twist myself into a pretzel, and bend over for various small tasks. Not surprisingly, I have been experiencing severe job-related back pain for several months, and it's been gradually getting worse. It had reached the point where sitting didn't even relieve the pain. I saw my primary care physician who prescribed muscle-relaxants and suggested ibuprofen and a therapad. The drugs did nothing for me. The therapad worked well, but only gave me temporary relief. Since nothing Western medicine could offer was a long term solution, and I've had success with alternate modalities, I decided to go to a chiropractor. My two biggest criteria were that they had to be open on Saturdays and had to be in my insurance network. Those two alone narrowed my options way down. Dr. Tintor fit both of those. He has regular Saturday hours and bills my insurance directly! I chose to see him today because he is very close to where I live. Boy am I glad! He's a very welcoming and friendly doctor and made me feel at ease immediately. In my first visit, he asked me a lot about my condition and watched my range of motion in different ways. Because of how severe my condition is, he started gently during my first visit. He is a reiki practitioner and used a little Reiki on me. Dr. Tintor was honest that he may not be able to fully heal me and left open the possibility of x-rays or an MRI through my PCP. I highly recommend him to anybody who has seen Western medicine doctors and would like to try another approach or something to complement their doctor's care. Using multiple modalities can never hurt! read more

Very friendly doctor, and very accommodating office staff. I had never been to his office (nor to any chiropractor), but when I woke up one morning with a lot of pain, I called his office and he got me right in. Since this was my first chiropractor, I really don't have anyone to compare him to, but he did have a great way of making me at ease so he could get the adjustments he wanted out of me. I went for some lower back pain whose origin I wasn't sure of and though after about a week I began to feel much better, I don't really know how much was due to the adjustments. I never felt immediately better after them. It's possible his treatment helped tremendously, but it's also possible, it was time, rest, massaging and heating pads that helped as much. In the end, I kind of think that massaging was more what I needed than adjustments, but I'm not doctor, so I really don't know. Dr. T didn't do any massaging, but he's got a fabulous massage therapist who works at his clinic. If you know you need a chiropractor, then I would recommend giving Dr. T a try. I only put 3 stars (instead of 4 or 5) because I can't be sure that anything Dr. T did actually helped me, but I do think all the other positives I mention make it worth giving him a try to see if he can help you. read more

Upon my initial phone call to Doctor Tintor's office after a referral of a friend, a genuine and friendly voice of Rosemary answered. She made my appointment and asked what was convenient for me and that I come in early to fill out paperwork, since this being my first time to their office. It's been almost a year after seeing and missing my Chiropractor in Millbrae and I was seeking another "diamond in the rough". Rosemary is just as sweet as her spirit and friendly. Paperwork was easily filled out and medical insurance was verified. Rosemary started me on the "TENS" (Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) machine. I love this part of the therapy and along with a warm wrap on my back. Doctor Tintor had greeted me warmly and asked about my Chiropractic history and what was ailing me today. After a recent auto accident and weeks with a Physical Therapist, I felt more therapy was needed in this area. After seeing him for about a month now, he has adjusted a hard to get spot at the base of my upper right neck that has been causing me headaches and strains. Since the time of my first adjustment to present, i have been able to abstain from Aleve and Tylenol first thing in the morning due to my headaches. My back and shoulder areas feel much more at ease and less tension and strain. Doctor Tintor loves to talk and he absolutely enjoys hearing about his patients and getting them back on the road to a healthy start. And they are open Saturdays! read more

I have been seeing Dr. Tintor for over 5 years. After my former chiropractor left his practice, I started looking for another chiropractor in RWC who had a TENS machine - I had been to chiropractors before who used TENS and I found it extremely helpful for me. After a friend recommended Dr. T, I tried him. I found his manner gentle, yet effective. He genuinely cares about his patients' health and well being, and he is healthy and active himself. His office is small and personal (not to mention very conveniently centrally located), and his receptionist is a gem, and knows you after the first visit. I frequently call and am able to be seen the same day, sometimes immediately, and many times on Saturdays. They are always willing to accommodate me, and the office is child-friendly (not meaning they have toys, but they welcome children). I appreciate the personal attention, the warmth & welcoming demeanor, and the adjustments are amazing. Dr. T has many times healed with his hands, in fact he is helping me heal now with probably the worst back injury - by far the most pain - I've ever had. I have no health insurance, and he is guiding me through my healing process with lots of information, recommendations, advice and of course his wonderful chiropractic adjustments. If Dr. T happens to be out of town, he has Chiropractors that he fully endorses to fill in for him and treat his patients as he would do himself. Daniel Tintor is great. His office is convenient to my work and I can usually get an appt on short notice. Since I don't need much work done I can pop in & out for an adjustment in about 15-20 mins.
