The Ford Expedition was spotless and more than roomy for the two of us and 4 pieces of luggage and a backpack. He told us when he arrived that ALL parking at JIA was full except for off site lots. Such a huge relief to know that we would get dropped off right at departures and not have to deal with the stress of parking. #winning. When we arrived back home, David was waiting at baggage claim for us and as soon as we had our bags, we were whisked outside to a special parking area and then on our way home. Seamless! They provided shuttle service to and from one of the parking lots we parked in and I'm telling you their entire staff were amazing. Two guys in particular that I'd like to mention were Paul and Paul. One was on the ground assisting with parking and directions, etc and the other was our driver. I use a portable mobility scooter to get around the grounds area and these guys went out of their way to help is load and unload the scooter, guide us to our parking area and got us safely to and from the drop-off points. I've never seen anything like it at an event like this before. Great demeanor for working on Sunday, friendly, knowledgeable and just made our event that much more enjoyable overall. I told them in person but I hope the management team shares this review with them and uses them as an example of how to do the job and take care of people. We requested if he had availability to drop off and pick up two other groups of 4, so two other vehicles at two different times during the day, so individual fee rides. Initially we were told yes but when calling to firm up details, Mike was quite rude and wanted us to book his vehicles for a period of 6-8 hours instead. We said we didn't want to do that, and did he still want the work and he said yes, but later called my daughter back, forgot to hang up after he left a brief voice mail, and proceeded to talk trash about us to his wife, recorded on the voice mail. We then cancelled the service. Mike has the right to determine which services are worth his time and money and simply could have told us that the request did not suit his business and we would have moved on. We are not mind readers and had no way to know that he doesn't want to book at job for 10:00 p.m. when he said he would take the job. We learned of most of his displeasure on the accidental recording. There are a lot of car services on Amelia Island and the others we have worked with have been honest communicators.
