I took all 3 levels of Reiki with Danielle Mai. When I was looking for a Reiki teacher, I came across Danielle's website and was drawn to her. I am so fortunate to have found Danielle as my teacher. Her space is aesthetically pleasing and the overall environment you will be in is very warm and inviting. Danielle IS very warm and inviting. She makes you feel at ease with her compassionate and gentle nature. During all 3 classes I always felt supported while being seen and heard in a safe environment. She holds a safe, supportive and sacred space for you to learn and to share what you are comfortable with sharing; she will meet you where you are coming from energetically and emotionally. I felt very comfortable and relaxed every single time and truly enjoyed my time learning from Danielle and being present in such a high vibrational space. I appreciate Danielle for her heart-centered nature, openness and patience. She was very helpful, took the time to answer questions, and held space for any discussions or feedback presented during our classes. She is truly supportive of all of her students' journeys and growth and she lets you know that you can reach out to her post reiki class with any additional questions and concerns, or just to keep in touch. She will be there for you. We did a grounding meditation at the beginning, went over and discussed the reiki material, attunements, there were hands-on demonstrations and then hands-on practice. The manual is very organized and is a very helpful resource to have for me to continually revisit. Reiki has been a blessing and a very heart opening experience. I am truly grateful for the wealth of knowledge and wisdom Danielle shared, her teaching style, and for the opportunity to have learned from her. I sat with and interviewed four Reiki Teachers before selecting Danielle Mai. All were very good. I was, however, immediately impressed with her open yet disciplined approach to Reiki and her students. She wondered what I would bring to Reiki and how I would integrate Reiki into my other modalities. She felt like a perfect fit for me. I completed 2 levels of reiki with Danielle. I was looking for reiki training for a few months but could not connect with other teachers nearby. I found Danielle and chatted with her..because of her inviting and adjusting nature, I could complete my training. She also adjusted to my schedule given that I had a baby when I was learning with her. She is very calm and listens to each of your questions very patiently and doesn't rush towards getting it completed. Her space is also very safe and inviting. Danielle is such an amazing healer and I highly recommend her to anyone on their spiritual journey. Her warmth and intuitive nature make for an amazing experience, regardless of what service you're getting. I found her website after a little bit of searching, but had no connection with her prior to our session. I trusted my gut with her and it definitely paid off! She was very communicative, kind and knowledgeable. Another thing I appreciate about her is her clear boundaries as a healer. She won't perform services without your consent and keeps you informed throughout the session. I never felt judged for asking questions, and was able to leave our sessions with more knowledge than when I came. I received a distance Reiki attunement from her for level 1 & 2 reiki. I had taken an online course elsewhere, but wanted to source my own Reiki Master for the attunement. She did such an amazing job, and I'm planning on taking her Reiki master class this fall. She made herself available for questions after our session, and we still stay in touch when any questions or concerns have come up since then. I can't recommend her enough! Danielle is amazingly gifted. I came to her for help with emotional blockages. I love how she uses crystals to gain insight. The appointment started with a chat about my intention for the session. Then she asked me to pull a crystal from the crystal bowl that called to me and from there she was able to determine if I needed anything else to support me while I was received Reiki. For this session, it was an essential oil called arborvitae. She uses quality pure essential oils so I was not worried about inhaling any additives or perfumes that I am allergic to. The session was amazing. I am not new to Reiki but a session with Danielle made me feel more held and supported as I allowed the Reiki to work in me. She also applied crystals on me to help balance my chakras allowing the energy to flow more smoothly. The combination of using crystals, Reiki, and essential oils made my experience richer and I was able to go deeper. As we came to a close we chatted about the intuitive messages she received and they were spot on. I left the session feeling lighter, more joyful and I had clarity about my emotional blockage which is what I needed to heal. I have also had Danielle give Reiki to my dog, Roscoe, in person to help calm him. Roscoe is a screamer when he is in the car but on the ride home after seeing Danielle, he was much more calmer during the car ride. read more

Not only has Danielle inspired me but she has also helped with my mental health. Over the last few years, as most of us, I was experiencing debilitating anxiety exploring all outlets of ways to deal with it holistically. As soon as I met Danielle, I knew I had found the right person. Within the first few sessions, I was hooked on reiki. I truly believe it helps heal from the inside out. I have always been drawn to the field of energy healing and have had a few reiki sessions in my past that went well, but not great. I had been looking into Danielle for some time before booking and felt drawn to book my first session. I have been going through a transition in life and I needed some clarity. I also have had hip/lower back pain for YEARS but I didn't book for that. My back pain and hip pain, I've been told, is from having two large babies and sitting too much (thanks to covid, my nursing program was mostly online so yes, sitting a LOT). I just kind of accepted the pain and stiffness (even though I am only 36, lol still kind of young?) ...so pain relief was not in my radar for reiki healing. I wanted mental clarity, energy release and I guess just some love and Danielle went provided all of this in our session. She was knowledgeable and in tune with and my energy and its needs. This was the first reiki session that I ever had flinches and shakes. They were like shiver shakes, but I wasn't cold. She explained this as a release of energy and it would continue sporadically for the next few days. It felt AMAZING. I felt amazing. What really surprised me though was the pain relief I received. I had suffered hip/low back pain for years so I didn't expect reiki to help me in that aspect but the morning after my session, I woke up with NO BACK PAIN. I cried and still get emotional thinking about it because I had really accepted this as how my life would be. I truly feel like I can move forward in my life thanks to Danielle. I had heard of Reiki and the positive changes it could make for years but I never considered doing it for myself.  I come from a place/past of severe trauma and through years of therapy that provided me with tools to help with my C-PTSD diagnosis but as part of the "tools that help" one therapist recommended Reiki. I decided it was time to try it. If Reiki is something you are looking for to add to your treatment plan as well, then do yourself the favor and go to Danielle.  She is a true master of Reiki and helping you find centering, focus and calm. She is professional, honest, caring and does not take advantage. If she can help you she will let you know. She sets up a realistic time frame and DOES NOT manipulate the treatment into more sessions then neccessary.  Also, you leave with tools that you can do yourself to help you remain centered, focused and calm. I had my first Reiki session with Danielle and it was such a wonderful experience! I loved everything about it, her studio is very calm, relaxing and smells great. She first sat down with me and explained everything what she will be doing, what she uses and how I was feeling. She also told me what I might feel during my session. She had me lie down on a very comfy massage table and covered me with a very comfy blanket. I did not want my session to stop! I felt amazing I knew that definitely be going back! After she finished she explained to me what she felt and what she recommends. Since then I feel great! My anxiety is gone im more aware of myself I feel more intune with my body and emotions. It is so wonderful to be in the presence of someone who has truly found their calling. Danielle is a remarkable healer who is deeply knowledgeable in her art.
