(On Google) I'm not too sure which one was the incredibly rude one that I had the unfortunate texting encounter with. Both of them ended up replying and I was told to never contact the salon again by the supposed "other" stylist. I am incredibly thankful that I was able to see who they truly are and how rudely they treat perfectly good and loyal clientele that are only inquiring of their services. (She thinks a bit too highly of herself in my opinion). And men, don't even bother, she said she stopped taking men's cuts because she's just sooooo in demand!! I texted her the day before close to 5:00 pm. I wasn't expecting a call or text back till the next day. (Which was fine). She instead texted me 10:30 that night. Which I thought a little odd and unprofessional. (That's a bit late to be getting back to clients and to text them). What if I just fell asleep and she woke me up? Not a good way to start off, right? So, I did text her back and asked a question... She never responded till I texted her the next day around 10:30-11ish and said, "Guess you don't want my business then". (I don't have the text message screenshot because I had written her off and deleted the conversation). She didn't reply right away, it was around noon when she defensively and unprofessionally responded. As you can see from the screenshots below, how the rest of the conversation went. If you'd like to be talked to like this by these women, then by all means, please reach out to them! If you'd rather be treated respectfully as a human being, don't even bother with them. And yes, I do realize that I said I wasn't going to go online and give a review. But the more I thought about it, the more I thought that I'd let these text messages speak for themselves and let others at least see what they can avoid and not have to go through. She can replicate pretty much any photo of hair or makeup you show her. When I booked her, I only needed to do a hair trial since it was a new style and I was already confident with her makeup skills. For my wedding, she came to my place and did all 4 girls by herself. Getting ready can take some time but Genna is so fun and easy to talk to that the time flew by. I ended up choosing a natural glam look and low pony with pearls that I loved. All my bridesmaids were super happy with their looks as well. I highly recommend her!

She is very responsive and very good at what she does (which is making you and your girls look stunning)! First, she didn't have a minimum service to book. I had a small bridal party so that was an issue when I was searching for a HMUA. She worked with my wedding coordinator on the timeline, and on the day of, everything went smoothly as we were getting ready (which is so important.. no one wants to be stressed out on their wedding day). Genna was punctual and arrived right on time at 6AM. She had all her equipment on her and set-up quickly (I was quite impressed on how seamless and organized she was, she even brought her own light and chair for the make-up station). She did the hair for 2 of my bridesmaids, make-up for my mom and mother-in-law, and my hair and make-up. Each of showed her a picture of what we wanted/what we were aiming for and she able to re-create. Everyone looked so beautiful!! I didn't do a trial because I live in Boston, but Genna allotted extra time for this the day of the wedding. OMG Genna did such an amazing job on my hair and make-up!! I was so happy with how it turned out and what is even more amazing is that I looked just as good at the end of the night! My hair and make-up lasted through the thousands of tears and crazy dancing at night! Also, I had this huge hairpiece and 15 foot veil that she secured so well! I was afraid that hairpiece would fall out at some point because it is so heavy, but Genna stuck it in good! She also taught my MOH how to take off the veil after the ceremony. Thank you times a million Genna for making me the most beautiful bride!

I am so glad I booked with Daniele. The salon is quaint, nicely decorated and clean. I felt the prices for the services offered were very reasonable. Daniele's experience shows in her work. I had brought in a hair picture and she was able to capture the vision beautifully. As for the makeup we had chatted while doing my hair and after hearing about all of her experience I trusted her eye and said "surprise me". I absolutely loved my makeup. She did a perfect job of color choices and application. I felt beautiful. I received so many complements on my look at the wedding. It felt great. The best part was my hair and makeup stayed the entire event. It was a nice experience working with Daniele and if I ever need special occasion hair and makeup in the area again, I would come back in a second. I came to Diana with healthy, jet black, henna dyed hair and was looking to get a color correction. I usually, would DIY lighten my own hair due to my trust issues from a history of my hair being botched by "professionals" at other salons, but there is a lot of risk when bleaching hair that has been previously dyed with henna, so I was not going to take the risk in doing it myself. I was hoping for her to take my jet black hair to somewhere in the blonde range. Diana explained the process thoroughly and told me that it would be just that... a process. Removing henna from the hair can be very risky and results vary, but she reassured me that I would leave her salon looking presentable as though my hair was not going through a transition. She was very attentive to me and my hair as she lightened it. I left her salon with gorgeous hair and lighter results after each appointment. I believe I had 3 appointments total with Diana and the final result was stunning!!!! She did not give me the average, solid haircolor that so many other professionals would. She had lifted my hair to a beautiful ashy blonde with subtle highlights. She gave me a haircolor that looked like I could have been born with it! She got me as light as possible without compromising the integrity of my hair. I didn't see or feel one bit of damage! A true 10 out of 10 experience. Diana is nothing short of amazing!!
