The shop is always kept perfectly neat and clean and it's a very welcoming environment! I go to Emily, the owner who has painstakingly and patiently cured the horrible damage that I did to my own nails trying...and failing miserably, to do my nail tips by myself. I hate to leave negative reviews. I rarely do it. But, when it comes to certain things like a nail salon, I believe people deserve to know what they are in for. (I once knew someone who had to have a toe amputated but a bacterial disease they got from a salon.) This was my first time at this nail salon. I asked for a gel pedicure. I had a nice soft spoken gentleman, who did the pedicure, however, it was the most painful pedicure and I've had, and I have had hundreds. I had gel nails to begin with. Normally a good salon will soak the gel off. This gentlemen didn't try to remove the gel by soaking them. He sanded them and the nail bed. As he was cutting my nails, he began cutting my cuticles and he was tearing at the skin, and it made me bleed. He pulled and cut at so many places in a way I've never seen done, that I began to wonder if he was even licensed. I've never seen anything like it. Afterward, he put oil on my feet, so much in fact, I was slipping as I was walking out. It was the weirdest thing I've experienced. I had planned to get a manicure and quickly changed my mind. There are too amber wonderful nail salons to go to a place and leave in pain. Thats my $.02 Won't be back. read more

I finally found my nail salon. I am probably the only woman that has anxiety getting a pedicure but I do. I get really bad ingrown toenails and have avoided going anywhere. Thank goodness I found Emily at Luxe Elle. She makes me so comfortable and is patient with me. The location is great and all the nail techs are very nice. I am so grateful that I found this place. Absolutely LOVE this place! Friendly staff, amazing selection of polishes including Dazzle Dry (my favorite for non-gel nails). Pedicures are the BEST. The "better than your ex" pedicure features actual rose petals and the amazing aromatherapy smell of roses in the soaking tub. Milk and Honey is also a regular choice for me. They pour milk into the soaking tub along with all the wonderful softening secrets to give a fantastic pedicure. Emily, who owns the studio, takes a lot of pride in the decor and seasonal decorations which is always fun to see. It's always an enjoying experience and we never feel rushed. read more

I've been there 5 times and it was great at first but the last couple times and especially the last time it's changed. My pedicure didn't get a top coat and when the polish chipped the same day I went to get it fixed the next day and they put another coat over the chip and the entire nail instead of replacing that one toe nail. They did then put a top coat on all toes. I mentioned that now my polish color won't match on the one toe with an extra layer, but they said it was fine. It wasn't - I had one toe a darker color than the rest. I'm disappointed in this kind of quality and care and cannot recommend this place anymore. Sorry. When we got there, they were not available. They only had one person to help one of us. That's OK, but they didn't even address us to say how much longer the weight would be. They just let us sit there for a half an hour without even speaking to us. And then, when I asked a question, I was made to feel very uncomfortable for asking the question and another patron, and the Salon berated me for asking when we would be served when we had an appointment For 6 PM and it was now past 630 and no one had even addressed us. I left. And was made to feel like a jerk for asking why our appointment wasn't honored. read more

When we first entered, the room was very pretty, there was a minty aroma. But it wasn't too faint nor too strong. When my mom and I sat down, the ladies looked prepared and were pretty friendly. They treated us nicely and gave us beverages around the time my mom's nails finished. (My nails were finished before hers.) The downside was the price and design. My mom and I had hello kitty designs, though we bought hello kitty nail decals off Amazon for them to add it. My mom had gel x and I had just the plain gel. They actually CHARGED us for the hello kitty decals. They didn't give us a specific reason, besides the reason that "they applied the stickers" though we provided it and it didn't take much time either. (We only did 2 ring nails for the stickers.) They had also done my mom's callus, she had thought it was included or free; because when she paid, they charged her an extra TEN DOLLARS. (This wasn't INFORMED to my mom until payment..) My mom had to ask the lady to finish cutting her cuticles. Though they were nice, they started rushing once customers came in. If they are rushing I think they should hire more workers..? For my nails, I got French tip and a hello kitty design. The design did NOT look like hello kitty. It looked like a little kid drew a white cat with a yellow nose and pink bow onto my nail. The French tip was fine though. I don't recommend going to Luxe Elle if you want to be charge mysterious fees and being rushed out so they can attend to other customers. read more

I have specific preferences when it comes to getting a good pedicure. Many places these days charge a lot of money without providing enough time, care, or personalized experience. However, during my visit back home, I was fortunate to find a wonderful nail salon on Yelp. Even though I didn't have an appointment, they were kind enough to accommodate me quickly and offered a variety of services when I called to confirm their availability. They don't offer acrylic services, so there is no chemical smell when walking in, and it feels very fresh and minty. For my pedicure, I had Jimmy, who was absolutely amazing. He was very friendly and made sure that I was comfortable and enjoying my experience. Ingrown nails have been a problem for me, but he handled them like a pro without causing any pain or discomfort, and I had no pressure, redness, or pain afterward. I opted for the callus repair pedicure and added lemon, ginger, and detox, which took the experience to a whole new level. I highly recommend it. The hot towel was amazing, with a fresh minty aroma, and the massage was one of the best I've ever had. I felt like I was in heaven, and it felt like time flew by when the timer went off. Overall, my experience was a 5/5. As someone who is always busy and on the move, it was one of the best pedicures I've ever had. During my service, the woman in the front was so kind and allowed us to add a man's pedicure as they had availability. While the woman who did it was kind, she seemed rushed with the entire service. They are very punctual with their massages, but it just felt like she questioned what I set up with the woman in front, whom I presume is in charge. As I understand that English may not be her native language, it just doesn't feel great to have anyone in service stir a conversation right in front of you while I saw the level at which she questioned he service she performed. In all, my partner's pedicure was less than 30 minutes, not what we expected, at least for $40. We would rate it a 3.5/5. My only two suggestions in my review are to have a variety of beverages during the service and to pair the callus repair pedicure with paraffin wax. If it boils down to the price of wax, it should be a maximum of $5 as an add-on to the service. As much as I wanted it, I felt that a $10 add-on was a bit much, as previously stated in other reviews. If you're looking for quality service, I'd recommend checking them out, and I would definitely ask for Jimmy. He is the absolute most amazing. read more

I love this place! I never used to get my nails done because I never liked when anyone would do them. So I did them myself. Before my wedding my friend found this place close to our venue and I crossed my fingers (no pun intended) that they would turn out decent. I got dip gel and they were beautiful. I've been back every 4 weeks since. ...and yes, the dips actually lasted 4+ weeks and looked pretty good. Emily did my nails and I go back to her. Different ladies have done my toes and they all take so much care and time to make sure they look great. This place isn't that close to my house or work but it's worth me going out of my way because I love my nails. I also love that they use natural products and not toxic chemicals. PLEASE consider this and the other reviews that they over file and use too much pressure with the drill. You will leave with damage, visible or not. The gel manicure LOOKED so pretty but didn't last a week before starting to flake off. This never happens when I get gel at my usual salon. I am writing this review because I am most concerned by the damage caused to my nail from the drill. I still see and feel the ridges or "rings of fire" a month later, even under other polish and after buffing. This drilling was done on my natural nail, I came in with no polish or gel. read more
