Never coming back here again after my experience yesterday. To preface this review, I was a long time customer of Lovely Nails before moving out of town. While visiting my mom, we decided to get our nails done and walked in around 3pm. The place was not very busy with only 3 other customers. I asked for an acrylic removal, gel manicure and pedicure. I was sat for my pedicure pretty much immediately, and a worker started my hand service by removing 1 single acrylic nail. Sadly, that is the extent of the service I receive for my hands. The lady doing my acrylic removal left to do another walk-in's nails and assured me someone else was coming to do my removal and gel manicure. After 30 minutes sitting idly with no service, I asked the owner if someone was coming to do my fingers. At that point she informed me that the lady doing my mother's nails would be taking care of me as soon as she was done with my mom, to which I said no problem. However, after another 15 minutes waiting and my pedicure fully done, another customer walked in who seemed to be a regular and asked if the owner had someone available to do her nails. The owner then walks over to my mother, not me (I am 30 years old, not a child), and informs her that I need to keep waiting because this other customer "had an appointment" (which seemed to be untrue) and that the lady currently doing my mother's nails would be doing this other customer's nails after hers, not mine. I have never felt so blatantly disrespected at a business before in my life. I decided to pay for my pedicure and walk out without a manicure service, as I had been waiting for 45 minutes at this point, and did not seem like I was a priority at all to the owner. Very upsetting that a service that should feel like a treat or a luxury left me feeling worthless and frustrated. read more

Pretty disappointing experience. I went in for gel manicure and the results were just ok. The polish was applied very thin and color is not even or good coverage. The "massage" was less than 30 seconds and the equivalent of a hand shake. Not worth the money and I will not go back. read more

I previously wrote a review about my awful experience at this salon where they were unsanitary & gave me fungus ! I talked to the stores customer service & was treated awful , the lady was extremely rude kind of to the point where I was in disbelief that a business could treat a customer like that. They also told me they would pay me to delete my previous review AND pay me for messing up my nails because they did an awful job on my hands and feet again along with giving me fungus which my doctor told me it was 9/10 chance that I got it from my pedicure! Then I get a call back & was told they would only refund me for my pedicure which was $70 when I paid $140 for a terrible job & had to go out of my way to go to the doctor for toe fungus they gave me ! & the lady who did my toes wore NO gloves & made my cuticles bleed (I'll include pictures) I tried to reach out again to the customer service lady & she blocked my number ! I never write reviews like this but when I feel like I'm being discriminated against & when a business is trying to sweep something like this under the rug I've got to say something. OK so I moved back to California,? I've been searching for a good nail place to get a pedicure and occasional manicure. I've been to a couple places I will say so far this one is the best by far! The technicians have been working for the owner for more than 15-18 years. Excellent very clean they gave me a great pedicure manicure and my friend got a full set of gel (powder kind which I didn't even know there's a difference) They came out fabulous very thin not thick excellent... she liked it very much. Jenny was the first person I used at Lovely Nails, and I never thought of changing. I have so many compliments on my nails from both friends and strangers. She make sure they are perfect. I had silk nails done, at first, but later she turned to powder, which are stronger. I love that salon because there is quiet music and no yelling that I have found at other salons. During Covid they took all the precautions. I have been there for years, and I have ever heard anything giving any indication that there is anything but the best service. I had a great experience here today. In from out of town, needed a shellac and pedi. Called at 10am hoping to walk in, got in easily. I saw that there were some earlier reviews about being charged a lot of extras, so I asked on the phone about costs. I was told a reg mani/pedi was $35, w shellac it's an extra $15, no problem. When I got there I was given a list of additional services, nothing hidden here. The ladies who did my services were very sweet and friendly. Tiffany did my mani and she was a perfectionist! Did not get the name of the other lady, but she was lovely. I was offered a complimentary bottle of water and given one for the road. I was offered the shoulder massage and some extra foot massage services, but declined and said just the basic please. I checked out, w a beautiful set of nails, and was charged $55. $5 more than I anticipated, but it was such a nice experience, I didn't care. With tip I paid $67. Fast, friendly, not a rush job, great service. I would recommend!!! read more

Had my nails done by Kelly (she's super gentle) did a great job on my nails (i'm pretty picky) also Susan gave me the best pedicure ever along with an amazing foot massage. Customer service was great! As far as them being pushy as mentioned in other reviews i DID NOT experience this at all! I mean if they were trying to "upsell" that doesn't bother me one bit it's what they're suppose to do!
