PLEASE READ BUYER BEWARE The "WORST" customer service I've ever experienced PAID FOR IN FULL 2021 GMC SIERRA VIN# 1GTP8BED7MZ422850 offered for sale at auction by Daniels Chevrolet offer was made Saturday 1/25/26 accepted by owner on Sunday 1/25/26 payment was made in full Monday 1/26/26 with conformation, release form and bill of sale etc. Drove 400 miles 6.5 hours from Pensacola, Fl to pick up the truck on Wednesday 1/28/26 upon arrival the dealership staff / salesman was very disrespectful and unprofessional dealing with the situation laughing saying they sold the truck on 1/23/26 with no proof of sale and no explanation the owner of Daniels Chevrolet has not made any efforts to correct their negligence in this situation. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFOE PURCHASING A VEHILE FROM DANIEL'S CHEVROLET/GMC (365 E MAIN ST SWAINSBORO, GA 30401) This is unacceptable! I drove over 400 miles 6.5 hours to Ed Daniels Chevrolet in Swainsboro, Ga after being told the 2021 GMC Sierra was available. I had already paid for vehicle in full before making the trip. When I arrived, I was informed that the truck was not there. No prior notice, no explanation that made sense, and no respect for the time, money, and effort involved in traveling that distance for a vehicle that was supposedly already purchased. this situation was completely unacceptable and shows a lack of organization, communication,and basic professionalism. No customer should be told a vehicle is secured - especially after payment only to arrive and find out it doesn't exist or isn't available. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to proceed with extreme caution when dealing with Daniel's Chevrolet. Buyer beware. this dealership wasted my time and did not operate with transparency. my questions were avoided rather than answered. Purchasing a vehicle has got to be one of the most aggravating and demeaning experiences ever. We have plenty of nightmarish stories about salesmen who laughed in our faces, threatened to keep the keys to our tradein if we didn't buy, raised their voice at us and were rude and argumentative. We've been to over a dozen dealerships with a list of characteristics that we wanted in a vehicle and been told it was impossible. That has never been the case at Daniels Chevrolet in Swainsboro, Georgia. I've purchased a new Chevrolet Tahoe in 2017 and two used GMC Yukons in 2020. After I was in an accident in the first Yukon, all it took was one phone call and Ed had us in a vehicle to drive until he could find us a replacement for the totaled Yukon. Ed Daniels has been very good to us. He is a great salesman. We tell him what we can afford, and he does the rest of the work. We know that whatever we need, we can call him and he'll pick up. Mr. Ed Daniels is straight up genuine. I called Mr. Ed about a Tahoe, they didn't have one in my price range on the lot, and so he took to searching for me a used Tahoe. A week or so went by and Mr. Ed called me saying that he had found me a Tahoe. It was a 2018 but he did not have it on the lot yet. As soon as it got there, a couple days, he sent me a video text of the Tahoe and said it was there and I could come on down and look it over and test drive it. Well, my 2018 Tahoe Premiere/RST Edition is parked in my driveway. Thanks Mr. Ed Daniels for all you did and do, you haven't done me wrong yet. We drove over 2 hours to purchase a 2018 King Ranch F150 Ford 3 liter diesel we were so anticipating a great sales experience after doing much research on line and seeing the reviews of this dealership staff told us truck was getting some repairs at the service center there and it would be ready when we got there we test drove 2 miles from dealership and truck died on us. We were stranded had to call dealer ship to get us When we got back no suggestions to improve service were offered other than it may have gremlins in engine?? or even speaking to the service maintenance shop to troubleshoot totally unprofessional and surprising given this is a solid dealership. We are gracious customers but this is not acceptable customer service and we will not recommend. read more

I dropped my car off at 8:30 for a 9:15 appointment. The service department is now closed and they didn't even look at my car today. Had to cancel two appointments because I was expecting my appointment to be treated as an appointment and not as a drop off. I would have taken somewhere else if I had known an appointment is the same as a drop off here. read more

This is the second vehicle I've bought from Daniel's Chevrolet. My first was a 2017 Acadia Limited and I just bought a 2020 1500 Sierra AT4. Ed found the exact truck I was looking for. Both occasions we negotiated a price over the phone and when I got there everything was ready to sign and ready to go. Nothing was changed or any last minute "I can't sell it at that price" like other dealers in the Atlanta area. It is a 3 hour drive from my home so that should say something. I found a truck online and conducted my negotiating over the phone. I called ahead and told the dealership I would be there around dusk. When I arrived at the dealership it was starting to become dark. They gave the truck a "courtesy" wash prior to my arrival to ensure it was clean and ready for the test drive. The truck drove beautifully so I purchased it. The sale itself was very smooth. My original salesman handed me off to Jerry Howell who completed the sale. The next day (after the vehicle had dried), is when I saw everything wrong with the truck. There were two scratches (one on each side) completely up and the entire body. Also, the rear bumper was bent to the point the tailgate wouldn't lower without pushing the body out. I put the window down on my way into work and heard the worse squeaking sound of my life. The worst part, I looked under the truck and saw the entire underbody was completely rusted. I opened the hood and discovered even more rust. My "courtesy wash" from the night before was actually meant to hide the rust and damage. I immediately contacted Jerry and told him of the issues with the truck. He told me that he would send me a truck the next day and take care of all the issues. He sent a small SUV that wouldn't even hold the three car seats for my kids. I called him again saying that I need a truck so I can fit the car seats in it to move my children around. He apologized and said he would send a truck the next day. Next day arrived, and I received a slightly larger SUV. I told them thank you although it was the wrong vehicle as at least I could fit my children in it. He told me my truck would be fixed in a day and I would have it back. Three days later, I finally received the truck. I inspected the truck and NOTHING was fixed. Instead of taking the time to fix the truck properly, they had the mechanics simply paint over the rust to try and hide it. Again, I notified Jerry and Richard Daniels (the owner) of the issues I was having with the truck I purchased less than a week prior. They both assured me the problems would be fixed. They brought me a full size truck the following week and said they would begin repairs and let me know it was finished. Upon inspecting my truck, they decided it would be easier and cheaper to "upgrade" me to a different truck than fix everything wrong with the current one. I told them to send me some numbers and we could see if it is doable or they could fix my truck. The numbers they sent me were absolutely absurd. They ranged from 7,000-10,000 more than what I originally paid. After I told them that I could not afford a bigger payment than what I already had, Jerry became very rude to me on the phone and kept talking down to me as if they were doing me the favor of fixing the vehicle they said was "like new". Bottom line, this dealership will do ANYTHING to make a quick profit to include screwing the customer over. It is worth the extra money to buy a car from ANY other dealer. I notified the Better Business Bureau and received a phone call from Richard Daniels shortly after. He reassured me that he would personally ensure the truck was fixed so I gave the dealership a second chance. The dealership picked up my vehicle and had it for two weeks. Richard Daniels and Jerry Howell reassured me they both looked over the vehicle and it was perfect. When they brought the vehicle back to me, it was very obvious the dealership performed quick cosmetic fixes hoping I wouldn't notice. They didn't repair the rust damage or even knock any of it. It looks like they applied a second quick quote of paint and hoped I wouldn't notice. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the professionalism of the dealership and would NOT want them to sell a car to my worst enemy. read more

If I could give this group of slackers negative stars I would. There were no other customers in sight and we had made contact before making the long drive(yeah I drove a nice distance for this crappy service) only to find out the car had sold. But we didn't find this out until we'd stood around waiting for service. And after this info was relaid to us, there was no further communication ie. "we apologize for not making contact with you regarding this considering we knew you were driving quite a distance to get to the dealership" or "maybe we could show you something else" nothing. Everyone then began pretending that we were no longer standing there. After we continued to kill about for a couple more minutes with no further communication, we picked up the hint. They were NOT SERVING MY KIND TODAY! Horrible individuals and I will disway any and all that I can to not conduct business here. Learn some common decency. Ending up taking my daughter to another dealership that was extremely pleasant and helpful so we made a purchase there. In closing, shame on you! read more

I bought a used Tundra I saw online. I asked salesman Ricky Collins if they were aware of any problems or did any work themselves on it. He said it had no prior work other than a routine oil change. I drove 2.5 hours and test drove the truck. It had a slight hesitation when I stepped on the gas. The mechanic took it for a test and said it was fine, but may have a little dirt on the throttle box. I asked Ricky what is the policy if I get it home and it turns out to be something major or I get stuck. He said even though they have to use an "AS IS" document, they would pick it up and give me a full refund. A drove it home then straight to my local Toyota Dealership for a 99 point inspection. They immediately found an oil leak and suspected it was coming from the head gasket. I called Ricky and asked him what to do. He said not to worry that its probably left over oil from when they repaired the head gasket. I was shocked. Apparently the previous owner had driven it with a bad radiator while it was over heated. I was very upset and asked why he lied and didn`t disclose that. He just replied that he thought he mentioned it. I didn`t feel safe driving it so I paid to have a dye test. It showed the gasket was still leaking oil. The mechanic said whoever did the repair either isn`t qualified or did the cheapest fix possible. Also odd that nobody at Daniels re-inspected it to see if done correctly. I called Ricky again and told him what they found. He asked me if I added water or drove it hard. I demanded the refund that he had promised. He said how do we know that your mechanic did the test right, or maybe they are just saying it needs to be repaired so they can charge me more money. He said before I could get my refund I had to get a second opinion. He sent me to another mechanic that they use from my area. They came up with the same results. I called Ricky again and advised him of the results. I asked for the refund again. He tried to talk me into letting them repair it. I offered to allow the mechanic he sent me to fix it instead. I waited 4 hours at the shop before hearing back from him. He said Mr. Richard Daniels said no. I then requested the refund again. He agreed and said they will send a couple of guys to pick it up in the morning and bring me a check. The next day I waited til noon then called him. He said Mr. Daniels said if I want a refund, I have to bring it back myself. I explained to him that I don`t feel safe driving it with a leaking engine. He said that's What Mr. Daniels wants. I agreed to do it but I wanted it put in writing that they are aware of the problems and are authorizing me to drive it, and I would not be held responsible if anything else breaks. He said that would be fine and would send it soon. I received a letter a short time later however it stated in order to get a refund the vehicle had to be in the same condition as when I purchased it. This seemed impossible as it had already had problems and I was told by both mechanics the motor could seize at any time. I called Ricky and asked him to send the letter with the terms we agreed but he said that`s what Mr. Daniels wants and he`s the boss. I called an attorney and asked what to do. I was advised not to bring it back under those conditions because they could say I did more damage if something happens. I disputed the credit card I purchased it on, called the attorney general and filed a BBB complaint but they still didn`t respond. I decided to just fix the head gasket myself. My mechanic found the damage to be more than they had thought. The bearings were also broken and they advised me to replace the entire engine. I called Mr. Daniels personally but got the run around. He and his associates said because I refused the previous refund, they will not do anything more for me. They also accused me of lying and doing the damage myself. The worse thing is for the money they profited from the sale of the truck I could pay for the new engine. I found many reviews from their customers who had similar experiences. I advise anyone with problems to also contact BBB of Georgia. Their rating is a c-minus. Also several complaints are on file with the Attorney General. Most of their positive reviews don`t mention anything when something breaks. read more

STAY AWAY!! THE WORST car buying experience ever!! I wrote a check for the full purchase amount for a used vehicle. & these people said they weren't going to mail me the title, unless I gave them more money!!. they gave me a sale price & a trade in value for my car. I gave them my car & made the purchase($10,000). after waiting months for my title they stated they would not send it unless I gave them another couple thousand to make up for the trade value!??. .terrible customer service. my experience with this business has stopped me from ever dealing with a dealership again. BAD BUISNESS! & they were so rude. im pretty sure what they did was illegal. and after multiple law enforcement agencies,lawyers & the better business bureau got involved the title showed up. read more
