I explained that I had not looked at the receipt but did reference their website, which CLEARLY states their refund policy- being 30 days from the date of purchase. She then looked to the young man explaining that the receipt should be highlighted. I again explained that their website clearly states a 30 day REFUND policy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The young man asked if I wanted to exchange it and I told him no, again referencing the website policy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The purchase was made on 2/14/26 and not yet been returned for personal reasons. I explained that they need to follow their website policies or change them. I really don't know how the associates at this Daniel's sleep at night. Gaslighting and changing what they initially said to make a quick buck. Went in for a resizing within 30 days of purchasing a ring, an associate there said resizing is free. I needed a 4.5 and then she said they'll have to charge because it's not within 2 sizes, original size is 7. Bought the resizing but in the parking lot changed my mind because i didn't want to give them more money when the vibes were already off so I told my fiancé to just get his money back and I can wear a 5. He didn't want to worry me but eventually told me that they still charged him. ??!?!? How in the hell do you go from it's free two sizes down and then taking it back entirely saying it still costs to resize in general despite it being within two sizes. BS! Jewelry repair that has an extra charge "to make sure it's done correctly" - I'm sorry what?? I first came to them to get a bracelet restrung - they quoted me $30 to remove 3 beads from my bracelet and restring it back together. This first transaction went fine. I came back to pick up the bracelet a few days later and noticed that one of the little plastic spacers was missing (see photos) but that was such a minor thing I didn't see the need to send it back or even bring it up. A week so so later - my mom had the same bracelet in a different color that also needed resizing - this time removing 4 beads and restringing it back together. Of course I bring it to the same Daniel's Jewelers thinking I knew exactly what to expect. Imagine my surprise when I was quoted $45 to do the same job - take apart the bracelet and put it back together with less beads than it started with. This time I also mentioned that the spacer was missing in my previous one and just to pay extra attention this time. This is where the 2 stars came in. The reason they told me why the cost was different was: "well the jeweler needs to make sure that all the spacers and parts are all correct like you requested and then there's that one extra bead that you're taking out" So I guess if I wanted a service done correctly I'm supposed to pay extra?? Why wouldn't it be done correctly to begin with? Why are they charging a customer extra to "check that the service they are paying for is being done correctly". On top of that why leaving out an additional bead when stringing a bracelet together costs $15 more is beyond me. If they just stuck to that one reason I probably would've just questioned it but be less upset. Telling me that the extra cost is to check that the job is done correctly - is even more ridiculous than telling me that leaving out an extra piece is going to costs me $15 more. [[HIGHLIGHT]]In the end the store manager agreed to make a one time exception to do the (same) job for $30[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I haven't picked up my second bracelet so let's hope it's still done correctly even though I didn't pay the extra "double checking" fee. read more

Misinformed staff and not so friendly manager. We've been thinking of getting our baby's ears pierced. We called over the weekend to inquire. They told us baby has to be 2 months and vaccinated. They advised us to call ahead of time to make sure the piercer was available. So I called today and spoke to the manager. She sounded very rushed and not inviting. One of my daughters was very nervous and Ashley continue to explain everything to her step-by-step and help calm her worries. We are now a week past having their ears pierced and both of my girls have had no complaints on pain or discomfort from the ear piercing process. This place is awful. They advertise having professionals to do children ear piercing however, they are not professional at all. I took my baby to get her ears pierced they gave us the wrong color and size earrings. My 6 month old ended up getting pierced with giant orange earrings instead of the white baby ones I picked out. The woman piercing had these long nails and she couldn't manage the piercing gun. Her glove ended up getting caught in one of the earrings and the back fell on the ground. She could not get the back of the earring on with her long nails. All the while my baby girl was inconsolably crying. Do not take your kids to this place. read more

I had an awful experience here and was treated very poorly. I was so excited to come in and get my baby girls ears pierced so I called ahead to make sure they had staff and availability to which they said they did. I came in and was also looking at possible chains for my husband' birthday that I was excited about. Anyway they kept telling me that they'd be with me in a minute so I politely waited my turn. I thought I noticed them taking customers that came in after me but I wasn't certain so I still waited. Anyway the manager eventually says that we can only be assisted once they help their "customers" to which I respond are we not customers?? I must also say that as the only black family in the store I was off put. I asked her to clarify and she sternly reiterated that we could not be helped until everyone else even those who came and would come after us were helped as they are customers. Mind you we have a 4 year old and 10 month old to keep occupied. The service of ear piercing is free but you still have to buy earring but somehow I'm not a customer??? My husband and I have been looking into upgrading my wedding ring for sometime now and anytime we went to Dos Lagos whether it be for brunch or to grab a drink we always stopped into Daniel's and usually Deva would patiently help us out. Even if we weren't buying that day she always let me look at the rings try them on and get a feel for them. When we were finally ready to pull the trigger we were matched with a dream team to help us through, Kim & Deva really made the whole process so enjoyable without feeling pressured it truly felt that they were two friends who knew what I liked and wanted and to ensure we felt comfortable and that I felt special.
