I called for a badly needed oil change on short notice and late in the day but they still said : "…read more Comon Down !! " they then proceeded to do a first class oil change job for me. Gooood Guys Them !! Much appreciated by me and same as it ever was for the several years i have been going to the Farmingdale VIP Garage .

-First off, I originally went here to bring in my boyfriends car for a repair while he was at work…read more I waited for a very long time for them to do a basic tire change- as it turns out, they had finished much earlier but apparently forgot I was there! I wasn't clued into this until my boyfriend texted me from work and told me they called him to tell him the tire change was done. What the hell? -Secondly, They talk crap about customers who come in right in front of other customers, right behind the counter. -I brought my own car in a few times, and was told it passed inspection but would need new brakes ASAP. This was in April and it is now July. I have had zero issues with my brakes- no squealing, no stopping issues, etc. I decided to give them one more chance (They are the closest auto repair shop to me and more convenient) and went in for a basic oil change. When I initially went to see them for the same maintenance it was a total of $60. This last time it was $100! This was for just a regular oil change. I asked why such a large cost increase and the worker told me oil has gotten more expensive everywhere, which after speaking with friends/relatives I know this to be untrue. I will not be coming back here for anything.

I had a pleasantly surprising experience earlier this month at the VIP Tires & Service in Augusta…read more I took our 2010 Mazda Tribute in for brake work because the pedal was behaving oddly after a hard stop (when a pedestrian jumped off the curb in front of me). VIP's diagnosis was that the master cylinder and power booster were defunct and needed replacement. These repairs were made and I retrieved the car. It was a hefty bill but par for the course. Keeping an otherwise good older car on the road is a lot less expensive than replacing it. Shortly afterwards, I noticed the brakes were still acting the same as before--soft pedal, longer push. I took the car back to VIP for further diagnosis. The surprise was when the service rep informed me what they had found: The antilock braking system (ABS) had failed and needed replacement. What made the surprise pleasant was that, because they'd missed this fault in their original diagnosis, VIP was going to obtain and install the new ABS unit free of charge--saving me a couple of grand for part and labor. Wow. I call that owning your profession. Fair is fair, and I will continue bringing our vehicles to VIP when they need service.

I gave them the OK and then he added that the car had oil and transmission fluid leaks to be aware of. PIcked the car up when done and drove 4 miles down the road when steam and smoke bellowed from the hood. The radiator hose was blown. Had it towed back to VIP and next day they said engine was fried. Brad claimed he had warned me of radiator leak, which he never mentioned, and would make no sense to spend nearly $500 on other repairs and ignore a radiator leak. Called corporate office to complain and they said they would get back to me.. Never heard from them and now I have no car.

Tires rotated, on schedule -always great service. Never once turned away. Bought 4 tires today; all said and done -in just under an hour. Bada bing bada boom! I would not recommend any other tire shop for service and quality tires at excellent prices. I stay with service I trust. Trust me you can't go wrong here!

We called multiple times, no response, so we made an appointment online and was rejected at the counter because their online services aren't working, alignment equipment not working, and computer not working so cash only. Why was the customer in front of me accepted for a walk in for something more labor intensive when all I needed were my tires changed? I had to schedule an appointment over 10 days out now and when leaving an employee put a cigarette in his mouth at the front desk and walked out, three staff were outside goofing off lifting wheel parts and three staff on assuming a break when a dozen customers are waiting seemed like a serious lack of professionalism. The manager wouldn't even come and give me an explanation to the mishap. The woman at the counter went to ask the manager what to do and blamed me for not calling and they had several appointments for the same time. It is not my fault their systems aren't working and I was rejected to leave my car to be worked on at their convenience. Permanently taking my money and business elsewhere this was the worst service and experience despite constant effort as a customer.
