I don't normally leave reviews on Yelp, but for this company I felt it was very important to provide my experience. Travis did an amazing job installing a new electric tank WH for us. Our old electric tankless had a few parts that went bad. He was able to do the entire job in about 2 hours and was kind enough to open some space for us there as there is shelving blocking the area left by the old owner. All in all everything went smooth and I'm very satisfied with the service Travis and the entire Danika Plumbing team provided. They gave us a very competitive quote, where as other plumbers were trying to charge me almost double. Danika Plumbing and their owner Frank, we're very upfront, transparent, and very fair with me which I really appreciated as a customer. I highly recommend this company (especially Travis) to anyone looking for plumbing work.

No hidden fees. A family company, selling American made tanks. I will definitely call them for anything water related. Top recommendation.

This spring when we tried to use the a/c, it was not cooling at all. I contacted Belred and asked if a technician could come out to check the system as I suspected there was a refrigerant leak somewhere. The repairman arrived and checked the main cooling unit. After several minutes, he told us that the system was, and I quote "leaking from everywhere" and would likely cost more to repair than a new system. He also said that because it was 8 years old, it was near the end of its service life. I was of course dubious of what I was told. I asked to have a repair technician look at my system however, I feel like I was sent a salesman instead. He was happy to discuss the cost of a new system and was also happy to charge me $230 dollars for the service call. Fortunately, I was able to find a reputable company and a technician who was able to pinpoint the leak in one of the lines in less that 30 minutes. And that the system I have is top of the line and should last for many years, especially in Seattle where it is not in constant use. So, he was able to repair the leak and charge the system for less than $1,500 dollars. My a/c is now cooling better than ever. I am very upset that I paid for a service call that was nothing more than someone trying to sell me something I did not need. However, I feel even worse for the people who get taken for thousands of dollars by companies that practice these sales tactics. Alan N

Almost Scammed Out of $2,000 - Be Very Cautious…read more I want to share my experience to help others avoid what I believe could have been a very costly and unnecessary repair. We scheduled a "free" plumbing inspection from this company. When the plumber arrived, he drained and refilled our water heater, but seemed disinterested in inspecting the rest of the house--even though the service was supposed to include a full plumbing check. Since we had just purchased our home and recently had a full inspection done, I didn't press the issue. After finishing with the water heater, the plumber told me he had identified a serious problem: our water pressure was supposedly around 90 psi, and he said it needed to be reduced immediately to prevent damage. He then presented an estimate for over $1,900 worth of repairs: $1,262.46 to replace a "faulty" pressure reducing valve $668.36 to replace the emergency shut-off valve Thankfully, I decided to double-check before agreeing to anything. I tested the water pressure myself using my own gauge, which showed 70 psi--well within the safe range. Just to be sure, I bought a second gauge from Lowe's, and again got the same result: 70 psi. Our home inspection report from before the sale also noted water pressure at an outside spigot was 60 psi--still consistent. When I raised this with the company, the plumbing manager claimed he had just spoken with the technician, who insisted the pressure reading was over 80 psi based on a photo of the gauge. But that doesn't hold up when three different readings all show otherwise. In the end, I was able to get my $500 deposit refunded, but it took a few days and follow-up calls to make that happen. Whether this was an honest mistake or something more troubling, I felt like I came very close to being taken advantage of. I urge anyone considering their services to do their own due diligence and get a second opinion before authorizing any expensive repairs.
