Virgie his assistant and Tessie at the front desk do a great job to assist and are always friendly and helpful. Shes very honest and sweet and she listens n observes. Getting a walk in with her has not been an issue, my son had a temp n as soon as i called in, i was able to get in. The lady on the phone was sweet n helpful. But the lady i dealt with to go see Ms.Katie was saying oh no opening, so i had to tell her no i literally just called n got the okay to come in, that lady checked again n said oh yeah. So some receptionists are ugh and some are excellent. Aside from the receptionists that i dealt with everything else was smooth selling. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MS.KATIE. In summary, understaffed. Just one general practitioner who is overloaded with patients. Bless her heart for sticking around to serve. If you are sick and need care, their schedule is unable to acomodate you until weeks from now. (However doc has been gracious to help my grampa on her lunch time or before/after hours.) Takes several days (a week now) to get a refill authorization for my grandpa's regular maintenance medication because doc is overloaded. Been going there my entire life, and it's sad to see what has become of this clinic. Hoping it will be revived some day.

They would rather put a patient in mental and physical danger than simply work on themselves. **Yelp admins**: please reach out to me directly and I will provide my past care providers to combat any claims they make. Additionally, look at my past reviews. I have always been fair. I will update this review in a month to give the office an opportunity to improve. However, my initial experience has been deeply disappointing. I came to this office with high hopes based on their Yelp reviews and research into Dr. Phillips, who has a solid reputation. Unfortunately, their handling of a straightforward matter--transferring medical records and filling prescriptions--was abysmal. Pros: * Friendly front desk staff. * Clean facility. * Quick in-person appointment. Cons: What should have been a simple process turned into a chaotic and exhausting ordeal. Over the course of five days, I spent over 8 hours on calls, visits, and follow-ups due to their lack of communication, disorganization, and poor record-keeping. Monday: I requested they obtain my medical records from Texas, explaining the urgency of having scripts filled by Friday. By day's end, no update. I reached out myself, only to discover they hadn't followed up. Tuesday: After multiple calls, I personally contacted my previous doctor to resend the records. Despite receiving confirmation that the fax went through, Central Health claimed they never received it--requiring yet more follow-ups from me. Wednesday: After finally receiving the records, I underwent a detailed telehealth consultation. I was promised everything would be resolved, yet no updates were provided. Each follow-up required re-explaining my entire situation, wasting significant time. Thursday: Despite assurances, only one script made it to the pharmacy. After endless back-and-forth, I was told to record a video of my prescription bottles--a baffling request for a medical office. Still, nothing was resolved. Friday: Out of medication, I was finally instructed to pick up paper scripts. With my children arriving that day and after a full week of frustration, I couldn't make the trip. I remain without a critical prescription days later. Conclusion: This has been the worst introduction to a doctor's office I've ever experienced. While their front desk staff is polite, the lack of communication, follow-through, and accountability was staggering. I have yet to meet the doctor, despite being a patient for over a week. I hope these issues stem from growing pains rather than a systemic lack of organization. For now, I'm exhausted and unimpressed.k

We're have to stay ahead of our business, right?…read more Desmond Doss is friendly clinic and only once have I had to wait an obscene amount of time to be seen. Granted a new system was just put in place so growing pains were to be expected; can understand that. Anyway, helpful and knowledgeable staff and masks are still required for all clinics. The pharmacy staff are good people and super efficient. It's important to note there is a separate refill pharmacy over by the exchange. Even when there are a lot of people waiting for their Rx I'm rarely there very long.

8 December 2020…read more Updated rating specifically for 8 TSC Clinic, Bldg C, 2nd Floor. I went it with the mindset that I would have to fight to have my issue dealt with appropriately and timely, which can be typical with military medical processes. I was worried that my concerns would get dismissed but Ms. Mary Ono (Family Medical Practitioner-Board Certification) listened to my issues, completed an exam, and referred me to two separate specialists to further evaluate my concerns. Before I left my appointment, she provided me with a contact list and instructions to contact the two specialty clinics she referred me to. If you are assigned to 8TSC clinic, I recommend Ms. Ono as PCM. Hopefully you get the same care I received today. Based on this visit, and a few others I have had with Ms. Ono, I believe there is some hope for military medical care. I will definitely annotate this on the JOES survey that I'm sure I'll be getting soon asking about my visit.
