I was told it would be $125 to redo the key, even though the failure happened within a few months I understand policies, but a key failing this quickly points to a programming or quality issue. No accountability or effort to stand behind the work. The owner replied publicly on google review stating they would inspect and potentially repair or replace the key at no charge if the issue was related to their work. However, when I contacted them directly, I was told I was "informed wrong" and that they would not look at the key for free. There was no empathy or effort to stand behind what was stated in their public response. It feels like the reply was posted to save face rather than actually resolve the issue.

The job was still not done so he returned the next evening, after 5:00pm and stayed until midnight. He also used some of my tools and took them with him. They have not been returned. The job was still not done and he had tightened, loosened, pounded on,T and jerryrigged so many things (including the springs) that the manager and another man came the next day and stayed 2 hours to fix the problems made by the first man. After they left, the garage door and the track were popping and cracking every time I put it up or down. I lubricated them and it seemed to get somewhat better. Two months later the door is very loud again and they sent Quick Garage repair to fix the problem. They fixed the problem that I had with the garage door screen, that runs in the same track, but said that I NEED NEW SPRINGS. The Cowtown guys, that put in my new garage door opener, had adjusted my springs when they were working on my door. Now the Quick Garage Repair guys, that were sent to fix the continuing problems, said that I need new springs and, at my request, would only adjust the springs that are there for $175+. The springs were fine when I got the new opener but they would not take responsibility to tweak the setting because it was not on the invoice, so not under warranty for repair. I could explain in more detail but it might take 3 days to read. This is the first time that I have written a negative review so believe me when I say DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

I am an elderly lady with mobility issues and I needed someone to help me with my truck that had been sitting for over 2 months. Everyone told me I needed a new key, (my key was over 20 years old) but I was not sure as the steering wheel locked up and would not move. I called many places asking how to fix it and was told over and over, you have to tow the truck to us. Called several mobile mechanics and no one came. Finally, I called DANILOCKSMITH and he came over that day. All I can say is, Daniel is a wonderful kind, and patient person. He had to charge up the battery first and after that, he knew what to do. A new key was made and my 2002 Ford with a motor that still purrs, cranked right up. Many years ago, I used to lock myself out a lot when traveling and called on many mobile Locksmiths around the Dallas Texas area. I would have to wait hours for them to show up and be charged huge sums just to unlock my door. But Danilocksmith was the first Locksmith company that showed amazingly professional service, and knowledge about automotives. Was right on time and the fee was reasonable. I purchased a property in Florida and wanted to rekey all the exit doors. This is always a wise move plus the previous owner didn't leave keys for a few of the outside doors. I saw the great reviews on Yelp and felt like this was the place to call. I was amazed that they were able to come same day and scheduled them right away. My car locked-up and completely shut down thankfully with the driver door opened. I called Dani, he responded fast and arrived quickly. He did a thorough check with a computer system scanner, suspected that the chip on the key was, damaged, but after checking with the scanner, we found out that the car's computer stopped communicating with the key and recommended taking it to a pro.
