They didn't take the time to actually look into things and seemed quick to jump to conclusions instead of understanding the full situation. Also, don't expect a free consultation--it's not clear upfront, and there's a big discrepancy when it comes to what they charge. Transparency should be standard, but that wasn't the case here. We couldn't have been more proud to walk in the trial with her as a lawyer! It took years and hard work for her to get there and it showed. Experience is necessary in any family situation ,especially this one, that ends up going to court let alone trial! When corrected, she still didn't seem to give a care. My initial conversation with Ryan was nothing spectacular either. I was referred by a friend but I'd never recommend them myself. Oh, and Joy likes to blow up your phone. Multiple phone calls to me within hours of each other because on the first call to me she had to leave a voicemail and because I didn't drop my entire life just to call her back. She had 0 respect for my time even though I clearly explained my schedule to her at one point and that I was going to be unavailable but that I would follow up with her when able.

While I did not know Attorney Brown personally, I was familiar with her through my former place of employment and she was very well liked by students, as evidenced by the end of their semester evaluations. The family member took my advice and went to her office, talked to one of her attorneys on staff and immediately hired them.
