Honestly, I had high hopes. Quintin was a great person to chat with and quickly came out to give me…read morean estimate. He set my mind at ease that he could fix the rotting wood in the side of my house for a good price. And that's where the good things end. First, scheduling. We scheduled a date. Quintin did NOT show up and then when I asked where he was he said he got caught up with something else and needed to reschedule. This happened almost every day for 2 weeks. Then he finally shows up late at night, on my anniversary, so my wife and I are on our way out the door. Then he calls us while we're out on our date and says he's finished and we HAVE to pay him RIGHT NOW or he can't leave! I haven't even seen the work. But I was terrified so I sent the money. And when I got home I actually cried. The work was shoddy and clearly half assed. He used materials I had purchased and didn't pay me back for them. He didn't remove the interior drywall when he repaired the wall, he just put the new boards in and pushed everything back. So now my wall is bulging. He did not add any water tight seals to the wall under the deck, so water is just running behind the board he nailed to the wall. He also didn't do half the work I requested and paid for! I requested that he redo the deck flashing and add water tight seals under everything and he did not! He said "it turns out I didn't need to", but I didn't get a refund for the work he "didn't need to do". I would also like to mention that he left all of the materials scattered around my yard. It took me days to clean up the mess he left behind. Quintin is a cheat and a slime ball. If the price seems too good to be true, it absolutely is. He is not planning on doing the work you ask for. If you have to go to him for work, I recommend just asking your neighbor or some random guy. You'll probably get better results. Edit: I almost forgot! Because he rescheduled so many times, Quintin offered to plow my driveway once for free. Well when it came time to come out and shovel after the insane storm we had this past winter, it took 3 days! I was trapped in my house with 3 feet of snow in my driveway! And when he finally came he made me shovel my car out so he could plow what was left! And even then, he only plowed half of my driveway! I wouldn't recommend hiring him to plow your driveway either.

He was supposed to be there at 8 am and showed up at 8pm. He was arrested the night before. He calls himself a contractor but let me say he started my driveway without a license and without a permit. City of Buffalo inspections put a STOP WORK ORDER in my house because of Jo permit or license. He has left my driveway a mess and winter is here. He took out the step to come into our house and put in make cheap steps that are coming apart. Yes he took $8000.00 from us. He has not been back in over a week and has not contacted us. I used him naively thinking I could get a good deal using someone who is more of a criminal than a handyman, and now I know why he gave the "great deal". He had no idea what he was doing. My floors were scratched, but original wood, and pretty, and he sanded them unevenly, missing other parts completely, and then slopped so many layers of varnish on, that eventually when those weren't drying correctly, for which he always had a great reason (it's just DUST you're seeing in those photos! don't worry! Tomorrow it will look different" and of course, they never did), so they came out looking like a second grader painted them. He refused to take responsibility, kept trying to say he was "planning to go back and fix them!" but he'd already tried to fix them 3 times and each time they got worse, and worse... And finally, publicly fabricated a story that someone "came into my house and tampered with the floors" as a way to save face. I have notorized statements from my realtor that the only person with any access to the house was Zak and himself and video footage from the house across the street that no one entered other than my realtor to take pictures, the ones enclosed, other than Zak. The man is dishonest, totally unaccountable, and psychologically unstable. He should not be allowed to interact with the public, period, let alone touch their property. Buyer beware: this man is a hack, a liar, and a thief. Absolutely nightmarish experience dealing with him, from start to finish.
