I recently visited the Music Emporium and had an excellent experience. I went there in hopes of…read morelearning more about guitar pedals, and I certainly went to the right place. I might be exaggerating slightly, but it seemed as though the store had around 100 different guitar and bass pedals on display to choose from. The Music Emporium is very well staffed. There were thankfully enough employees on hand for the store manager, Jarred, to take nearly 2 hours out of his day to sit down with me and show me around 10 different guitar pedals that I was interested in. In addition, he taught me how each pedal functioned individually, and how they would all work together as a unit. He was very patient with me, offered great suggestions, and ultimately helped me understand everything that I was hoping to learn with my visit. I ended up buying a full pedal board at the end of the day, and I am incredibly satisfied with the purchase. The store is very clean, spacious, and comfortable, boasting a huge selection of guitars, amplifiers, and other varied gear and accessories. The guitar pedal display, however, really stands out as the highlight of the Music Emporium. Before you visit Guitar Center or Sam Ash for the umpteenth time, try this place out. You won't regret stopping by!

Brian helped me on the phone and set the guitars up before I played them. I've been to this store before when I lived on Long Island. I drove from New Jersey at least 90 minutes each way. I ran into an issue with Affirm when I got there. Mike one of the co-owners got me even better financing! I went home with a beautiful work of art se custom 24-08 in charcoal cherry. Great customer service. I'm sure I'll do business with them again in the future.

One of my children worked here and was treated horribly.I literally had to protest outside the building to get her late paychecks after she finally had enough and quit. The owner then slandered her citing that she left due to medical issues and left him in a lurch. A total lie. We recorded him threatening her when she went to get her paychecks. He threatened 2 other staff members in a similar fashion ... All of this has been reported. We are hoping for swift action but relying on the community to open their The owner took $10,000 from me several years ago as a deposit for a corporate event that was never held for my business. I can't get it back. He decided it was a loan? Then he decided to treat it like a store credit so long as my child took lessons there. When I said I wanted merchandise instead of lessons he called the police and refused to honor the credit at all. Crooked as can be. Honest reviews are being supressed by Google! Check the local FB

I have some health issues and it's dificult traveling, it's hard for me to take long drives and stuff. The owner will regularly deliver guitars to my home in Queens. for no charge, he goes out of his way to hand deliver me gorgeous new guitars. I have had only all positive experiences with Monster music for so many years. After buying at least 20 guitars.. I started buying guitars from them 5-10 years ago and they are still the only local shop I support. Owner is super cool, and super honest about how he describes his vintage gear. Just got another gem from them. I had to write a review and express my gratitude.

My family was very happy with the service we received here last week. Our original intent was to…read morefind a rental violin for Kid2, as well as see what they might have in stock for kid1. Upon entry we were greeted by Omar, the store manager. He immediately sized my daughter, and went to the stock room to find a few that were her size. For a full school year rental of a junior violin, the cost was $90 + $20 service fee (tuning cleaning) + $5 rosin, a total of $115 before tax for 9 months rental ( End Sept to End Oct). Additionally, there is a grace period of 10 days after the final June 20 contract date that you can return the instrument without penalty. That takes a little bit of stress off our backs to rush to the store for the return. Given that Kid2 had never played the violin, but now needed one for school, I appreciated Omar's knowledge and feedback on things we needed, and unnecessary, there was never any pressure or upsell here. Meanwhile, another staff member, Ricky, was patient with Hubs and Kid1 as they were perusing the guitar section. While the store had a nice variety of full size acoutic & electric guitars, they only had 1 type of junior-size guitar ($79 in 2 colors, red & blue). Both Omar & Ricky were very patient with all my questions, and even allowed me to see what they had in stock when I asked about accordians (which, FYI, they generally do not carry new, and they only have old accordians in stock to sell AS-IS). We were happy with the service we received at this store. Highly recommend them if you're in need of a rental instrument, especially for kids.

They could order it for me but it won't arrive to the day I need it. The associate explained to be the difference between the two. He suggested to me to ask my brother if what they have can be an acceptable replacement. He mentioned what's available in their store and the price for the piece. It was a direct to the point service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The store has a good old fashioned appeal. I wish I could browse what's in their store and stay longer for today. I am seeing myself coming here again. Good location. Metered parking in front of the store.
