I will not be bringing any of my vehicles here in the future. My fiancé brought our car in for an oil change and to have the check engine light diagnosed. Later that afternoon, we were informed it would be an additional $180 just to check the code--on top of whatever the actual repair would cost. Hesitantly, we agreed. We got a call later saying our vehicle was ready. When we asked what the issue was, we were told it was just a "loose connection" and that they reset the check engine light. That's it. Fast forward two weeks--our car won't start. After doing some investigation, we discovered that the wrong size battery had been installed previously, which is what triggered the check engine light in the first place. So essentially, this shop charged us $180 to reset a light and completely missed the real issue. No real diagnostics were done. Save yourself the frustration. We took our car to Meineke on W Loop 250, where they properly diagnosed the issue without charging us $180 for doing absolutely nothing. read more

My friend Helen took her Chevrolet Cruz worked on by Danny's Automotive, they were upfront and honest, told her they couldn't guarantee that they would be able to diagnose the issue the first time but they would work with her to figure it out. They diagnosed it, put it up on the raisers and showed her exactly where the issue was... it was a little costly on a fixed income but the work comes with 50,000 mile or 5 year warranty so she figured what does she have to lose.... Well she was more than happy with the customer service and her car was completed in a day! Most places here in Midland would have your car for 2 to 3 weeks MINIMUM! They said it would be done in a day and it was. She literally cannot say enough good things about Danny's Automotive, she says THANKS to Mark, Arthur and the girls! Customer for life!!! read more

I had our truck brought here for an oil leak,after agreeing to have the leak looked at for $187.00 was told the oil pan was leaking,i advised them it was recently replaced and gave them the phone number to call for repair.The call was made the warranty covered $945.00,I paid $948.00 in Houston then was told the remaining balance not covered was $1080.00 at Danny's in Midland.I found out they more than doubled the dealer List price on the oil pan which is $120.00 they paid $86.00 from the local Ford dealer(i called)so for the readers what's the additional for,i asked the same question and was told it was a set price from the owner,i asked for a breakdown like every shop does for part's and labor apparently that's not how they do it.HUH? $200.00 for a 6 quart oil change ? Complete Rip-off you folks should be ashamed of how you run a business overcharging isn't even close to what a joke this place is.So those of you going to Danny's call around before you think your being treated fairly,they kill you with kindness. read more

I have used Dannys since 2022 when i baught my ram 2500 and i will not take it any where else, they know my truck and are honest and strait foward about my repairs, they are competive with there prices, if you think they are cheating you you cant afford the truck you are driving! They have honored any warantys they have given to me no questions ask! Ill never take my ram any where except Dannys! The guys at Danny's have always been fair to me, but I've been disappointed this time around. I don't mind that it took 1 1/2 weeks to get a diagnostic scheduled and that the service costs $30-50 more than other shops, but I do mind that I was quoted a price almost $4,000 above what another locally-owned shop said for the same service, plus a shorter turn-around time. I also mind that despite being assured that I could pick up my car "whenever" after the diagnostic, I was called three times and sent a text in all caps about them towing it if I didn't get it soon. I understand that space is limited, but I don't appreciate being given wrong information about my pick-up window then consistently bothered about it. I had a mobile mechanic worked on my vehicle and I was very unsatisfied. Talked to Jake a Danny's Automotive and he was absolutely wonderful. Explained everything to me, was very friendly, honest, and I would definitely recommend anyone to go see them. The Manager also was a very wonderful man they took very good care of me I just didn't happen to catch his name. They fix my vehicle and was very concerned about it and made sure to tell me if I have any further problems to come see them. If they tell you something they honor it and they go above and beyond to help people out. Everyone in that shop was absolutely wonderful it's nice to see good people again in Midland Texas. I had specifically asked them to check out a bad fan clutch. After fixing the water pump and thermostat the truck broke down because of the fan clutch. So after charging me to fix the wrong parts the truck fan clutch seized and blew it through my radiator costing me much more in damage because of the inability to properly diagnose the problem properly and with no offer of any kind to help figure the situation out. If at all possible deal with someone besides Chris. Can't trust them to fix something simple. read more
