Looks like your caliper is seized up and will need replaced as well" ok let's do it thank you. 2 rotors, pads on both sides, and the caliper on the drivers side all done in just a couple hours. Well I told them that when I went in for my FREE oil change and instead of taking advantage of me they looked over the car, said they couldn't find anything bad with it in a quick overlook but they noticed something loose under the hood and tightened it down so if there's still a problem I could bring it in later for an in depth look. When I got my quote I was told I needed a cabin air filter, a Freon top up, and a new battery. Total price was $760 for that plus $160 for the oil change and diagnostic services. I said take the battery off because I have a warranty elsewhere with the battery. The quote price didn't change. So I asked for an itemized quote print out. The battery is still on the quote. Plus $100 for a cabin air filter plus labor Another $200 for a Freon top up. The only thing it actually needed except my warranty swapped batter was the cabin air filter that I picked up for $23 at a parts store. I'm sorry but $100 for the air filter through Firestone was way too high of a markup for a one minute process. The old manager would have actually talked with me about all my options. Today with this new person I felt like I was treated as some unknowing woman who will just pay any quote so my car works right.
