Checked out Danny's Bar & Grill. Really cool local spot with a pool table in the back. They have a food menu and offer daily specials. We went on a Tuesday, and it was $1 wing night... can honestly say, one of the best spots I have had wings in a long time- wings were cooked to a crisp perfection and the flavor was great. The wing sauce is not too saucy but just enough, was really pleased. Very friendly and prompt staff. They had a juke box, so we had a blast playing some of our favorite songs. Lots of people in the bar who know each other but were open to conversation with us newbies. They do have happy hour, and TVs would be a good spot to grab a cold one and watch the game! read more

Definitely a locals spot where everyone looks at you when you walk in. That being said, I was in on St. Patty's morning when they were slammed with business and the service was top tier. The bartenders were quick and friendly to pour a beer and to close out your tab (when you were ready). There was more saying available than I would've expected. The bar had high tops surrounding it and there's also a back room of tables. The bathroom was clean, stocked with soap & paper towels. The green Miller Lite was exactly as advertised and the $10 breakfast buffet of eggs, sausage gravy & biscuits, fruit, and hashbrowns was also as expected. Definitely worth a stop in! read more

Staff was great, food was great, everything was good. It was smoky since you can smoke in there but they had signs that said starting March 1st they would be smoke free..witch is great. Can't wait for this place to be a regular. The food and prices are awesome read more

Stopped in on a Wednesday night to try the smashburgers. They were very busy, but the staff was friendly, took our orders and delivered out food promptly. Mini corndogs as an appetizer were a hit. The Smashburger was very filling and good. The tater tots were fabulous! Going back to try other items on the menu. The only drawback was that it was smoky at times. It may have been coming from outside as the windows were open to take advantage of the nice weather. read more

Went for the first time , great staff. Cracked jokes and felt welcomed. The environment was lively on a Friday and Sunday with good vibes. Tried the Danny's fries and they weren't lying when they said you'd take some home. But the next time I tried the pizza and you can tell there was a difference in who cooked it. Excellent food... Great prices.... Amazing service. They were out of a side I ordered and the cook, Jack, personally came out to apologize and custom made me a side to replace it. You never see that. Bartender, Babs, was super sweet and very attentive to all patrons. My guy friend who joined me also didn't mind that she was easy on the eyes :) I'm not a smoker and was disappointed all West View bars allow smoking but the ventilation here is great and you can't tell. Now smoke free, my wife and are now making Danny's a part of our regular restaurants. Staff is wonderful. Burgers and fries are terrific and you can't beat the prices. Only recommendation I have is turn off TV volume with closed caption and have music in the background. read more

The bar has a good atmosphere for the above 30 crowd and the food is great. I had the Italian wrap and my partner had one of your salads. They both tasted good but the price for the portions was amazing. 100 Percent a good place to eat when you want food and a beer. The owner seems like a nice guy although I only talked to him for a minute. Will come again in the future with my wife. read more

They are back up after their fire which is good news for the owners. Since we live nearby, we went there last night to check it out. However, we weren't in the bar more than a few seconds because of all the smoke. While waiting for it to reopen, comments on the Facebook page indicated that the ventilation system would be top-notch but unfortunately it doesn't help. We did meet the owner and he's a great guy and I'm glad they made a come back but being a non-smoker himself, I'm surprised he has made it a smoking bar. Obviously, it is for his long-term clients but I personally think he would do better to have made it a non-smoking bar with maybe an outdoor patio available to smokers. He said there's legislation pending to make all bars non-smoking and I'm just hoping that passes. I would like to patronize this bar and all the hard work in coming back but that's not possible with the level of smoke. read more

The ONLY reason they don't get 5 stars is the smoke. The food is the best bar food I've ever had in my life. The chicken salad is unmatched and the wings are excellent especially after a few draft beers. Their specials are amazing, especial during sporting events, and their bartenders are the friendliest around. Try this place out, you won't be disappointed. read more

The food and drinks are spectacular, however, you can't even run in quickly to grab a 6 pack without reeking of smoke. The staff is very friendly, but a lot of the customers are just garbage human beings. The last time my fiance and I dined in, there were belligerent customers running around the dining area (which is right beside the kitchen) screaming racial slurs while the cook who is a person of color calmly pretended he couldn't hear her while cooking us delicious food. No one should have to endure that at their place of work, or anywhere for that matter. Also, if you get up from your seat at the bar (even with your coat on the chair, full drink still there, and date sitting beside it) a "regular" will more than likely steal your seat, and then refuse to move because they feel entitled to it for being a "regular" (alcoholic). So while I would recommend stopping in, trying a long island, and ordering food to go, I would not recommend staying any longer than that. read more
