DLC responded quickly with an estimate, and after asking friends about it I was told it was a good deal. So I responded that I would like to use their service and an email was sent with a link to pay, which made it a breeze, and set up a weekly appointment during this rainy month of May. They came the same day I paid, and did a terrific job considering what I'd tried to do (it was bad) and the lawn looks great. I will put up pictures when the lawn looks a little better, because I'd tried to use an electric mower that wouldn't adjust properly so some spots are awful. Anyway, great job, guys! However the first time the lawn hardly looked different at all like as if their blades were so dull they just bent the grass or missed entirely. I told him and then he came and did it right but then didnt show up for 2 weeks and only when I called. The 2nd time looked like the first time. He never edged unless told he hadnt been. The lawn looked terrible most of the season. Then in June there were only 3 visits, July 3, August 1, Sept 2 and October 3. I was charged for 20 visits claiming he would come 24 times and only came 14 times and usually only after telling him that he hasnt been there with puctures. Every time he would lie. I unfortunately decided to try him for the snow removal and that was a disaster. The snow stopped at 2pm with temps over freezing so it was 2 inches of slush, very easy to remove. However he waiting till 4pm to set out and didnt make it to our place till afyer 9pm when it was freezing. I will never know how froze it was because he only did part and left the driveway and front sidewalk that we ate legally liable to keep clear. I told him and he did nothing but argue with me and refused to come back just to clear the front sidewalk. We are disabled and he knows this but there are 50 messages on my phone from him arguing after I asked him to come back to finish.

I expressed to him that I was sorry he was sick and this bug that's going around is lasting a few days so if he can't do it, I will find somebody else no problem. He told me if he can't do it he will send one of his workers messaged him on Thursday and there is no response. I had to have somebody else come out.. I understand all the excuses but the not responding is unprofessional.
