I honestly don't think I've had a good experience at this location. 1st after purchasing winter tires and having them installed, they suggested I have my struts replaced but to schedule an appointment because it would take several hours. In the spring I called and scheduled to bring my car in to have the struts replaced and have my snow tires removed. The day of my appointment, I dropped my car off first thing in the morning right after they opened and left. By 4pm I still hadn't heard from anyone that it was done so I called. They hadn't even gotten to my car. They were super apologetic and I came and picked up my car and had to find another day to take it down there. When I took it back I actually waited in the lobby and they got me taken care of great and in the 3 hour window they had originally quoted. A few months later I got a flat tire so I took it in for a flat repair and they were quick but failed to fully secure the spare tire back onto my car, so it was just rattling around barely hanging on. My husband had to put it back onto correctly. This last Friday my dad was in from out of town and took a trailer tire down there for a flat repair. He waited 2 hours for them to tell him they couldn't repair it. Today I went in to have my tires rotated and have an air check because my tire light was on. They told me it would take 2 hours and I said that was fine because I had an appointment. I left my car there and came back two hours later and they still had not gotten to my car. When I asked how much longer it would be I was told an hour. I got my key and left. The employee was rude about didn't even offer to just get the air check done do I could get on with my day. It's like you have to stay in the lobby to make sure they actually work on your car otherwise you just get pushed aside as other people come in. I will not be back to this location. I am willing to give businesses another chance after a mistake but after multiple poor experiences, I have no desire to go back there again. I ended up at Les Schwab in Ontario and it was such a drastically different experience. I would highly recommend people avoid the Weiser Les Schwab and just travel a little extra to go to the Ontario location.

The owner answered at this time and stated it could be a sensor connected to the battery terminal going out that would cause the fault code. He said to take it to O' Reilys auto parts Weiser Idaho store and have them plug in to the fault code reader. We did and found out we could make it another 2 hours home. The owner of Weiser towing steered us into the right direction without taking advantage of us. He stated he would rather look us into the eyes than his shoes... He could have taken advantage of our situation and put in an alternator and a new sensor plus tow charges . We are pretty broke and have plenty of credit cards to already pay off. Thanks so much. They are a phenomenal dealership with great professionalism, values and friendly service. I was very lucky to be matched up with Samuel Haley as our car salesman. He gave me much excellent advice and explained the 2018 Jeep Renegade thoroughly. I bought the same day! The rest of the team at the dealership are also quite helpful and cheery. Caleb Leuthold was very knowledgeable when explaining the financing, registration and even some driver's license questions I had. I initially was in contact with Thomas Grove, who introduced me to Sam. Thomas is a very gregarious personality and was the reason we decided to drive out to Hometown Motors, he recommended some local sites to see while we were in Weiser. Be sure to stop at the local chocolate shop when you are there for some excellence in-house made treats. See my review for them as well. Sam Haley had just joined the dealership and I was the first car that he sold with them. He is a wonderful person to work with. I would highly recommend seeking him out when you need a new or used vehicle and the scenic drive out to Weiser is not long at all. The outstanding customer service with Hometown Motors began with Mark Donicht fielding my call and spending over a week working with me over the phone trying to find the absolute best match. We found a new 2500 Laramie that was everything I wanted. I left my house at 1am and drove to Weiser Idaho to where I met Mark in person. He then gave me a ride back the dealership. I've been around a few years now and have dealt with all types of car dealerships and none have come close to the enjoyable and professional experience gained at Hometown. I've left with such a good feeling and confidence that the dealership team was sincere and truly wanted to make the deal right. My wife and I were in a huge jam when our 2003 Ford F3450 broke down in Ontario Oregon. Not a nice…read moreplace to visit and not a nice place to break down. We had a travel trailer with us as well as our dog. Not one shop would touch our truck. Every shop said since our F350 was deleted( had the EGR removed) they could not and would not even talk to us. So basically we were out of Luck. I took a chance on calling Ben's thinking maybe they could at least come and do a diagnostic on the truck so we had some kind of an idea. this fucker wanted to charge us 450.00 just to hook up a computer to our truck. We were really stuck so said what the hell. They sent a very inexperienced mechanic out to us who looked like he was living out of the truck he works from. That should have been a huge red flag for us. He never even looked at the truck just hoked up his laptop and at one point could not even figure out how to read the codes. When all was said and done the guy said he would only charge us 260.00 for the call out and hi labor which he did nothing. He did start up the truck and that was it. This business is owned by a pure opportunist that takes advantage of people that are broke down and in need of real help. We finally had the truck towed to a great shop in Fruitland Idaho to a very well run friendly and very experienced shop. I told hi our story and he said that this Ben has been run out of many different towns for scamming people. The entire town of Ontario as far as mechanics go is not a place you want to get stuck, they are rude, they run down your trucks. Even the Ford Dealership would not even talk to us about a truck that their company once made. So long story short, the truck is still in Idaho, not sure what is going on with it yet as the shop is pretty backed up. Stay away from Ben's truck repair and any shop in Ontario Oregon. We were very blessed that we had some great friends in Emmet Idaho that cam to our rescue and towed our travel trailer to their home and gave a us a very nice place to stay and fed us and for that we are both very thankful.
