I called Modern Auto Service and Kevin (who comely and confidently said he would take care of my daughter) sent a tow truck, had a loaner car ready for her and was prepared to work on her car first thing the next morning get her on her way. The tow truck was very quick and she arrived at their shop 30 minutes after closing. One of their mechanics stayed late, found the problem quickly (spark plug wire was loose) and sent her on her way with no charge other than the tow. Problem here - they are WAY overpriced on many of their items. I needed a replacement radiator fan for my Saturn and they wanted to charge me $30 for it. I went down to the local Auto Zone and bought a brand new one for $27. I could have gotten a used windshield here one time for about $60 less than a new one cost. It had some scratches, so I went with the new one. Sometimes you can find a good set of used tires or snow tires here. Not my first choice, as it's hit-&-miss here, but can be a good backup if you're looking for just the right part.

He called back and said that "my bearings are fine, and all I was missing is a tie rod" and he fixed it for a fair price, and had it done that same day, so I wasn't out of a car anymore than one day.
