Dan's Garage Door Service is now, Anytime Garage Door. Dan retired and sold his business to Anytime. Anytime offers its services in over a dozen different cities in seven states. It may not be the mom and pop business that Dan was, but you still get the personalized customer service. My garage opener had been making some noises and finally the chain snapped. I called Anytime and they were able to get me scheduled the next day. My appointment was later in the day and life happens. The appointment before me was taking longer and they called to let me know and reschedule me. My life is flexible, so I took the first appointment for that Friday. That morning, I got a courtesy call letting me know that they were on the way and that Jacob would be my tech. When he arrived, he introduced himself and shook my hand (that is something you don't see everyday). We went into the garage, he saw how old my opener was (20 years) and explained my options. He went into great detail on the differences between the different openers. I asked a few questions and he answered in layman's terms that someone like me could comprehend. I made my choice and he said it would take about an hour to install. I'm one of those peps, I looked at my watch. When he was finished, it was an hour, almost to the minute. He cleaned up after himself and you couldn't even tell that work had been done in my garage. I love my new LiftMaster garage door opener. It is quiet and runs smoothly, like a soft close drawer. Twice I've had to have my garage doors serviced (for different issues), and twice they provided fast, friendly, and professional service and had my garage doors working that same day. This morning, my daughter had an accident in the garage with her car, denting both garage door frames. I thought for sure it would be days to fix and have to pay thousands of dollars. One of the finest service companies that I've worked with on a personal basis. We had been having trouble in cold weather with the door not running smoothly. It would numb along and then go back up. We would have to help it down. Then, My wife drove into the garage door and knocked it off of the rails! It also happened to be the coldest day of the year. We called and they were booked solid but promised to come out after hours. Sure enough, he was there by six and got the door back on the rail. They came back two days later and fixed the original problem. Two times to my house and two parts to fix my door... The bill was half what I guessed. Very satisfied with Dan's. Replaced the spring and fixed the cables and lubricated the door in under 45 minutes. The speed is not all that was so impressive. I am very, very impressed with Dan. I knew that the problem I had was not an easy fix because several people has told me I would need to replace the entire opener unit. Dan was willing to take his time to repair, and honest when he said that he would not charge me anything if he wasn't able to repair the issue. From the way he explained the problem to me and offered a few recommendations, I could tell that he was thinking about my interest, not his. My review of the poor service was taken down. I don't have my original review saved (why would I - I wouldn't expect it to be taken down). I wanted to have some work done for my parents. The appointment kept getting canceled. Finally they said we would just have to call someone else out. I didn't care for this, it was rude and unprofessional. I called someone else out. We just had two beautiful garage doors installed, one double and one single; and we are just thrilled with both the product and the installation! Dan's crew showed up as scheduled, they were friendly and competent, both on the job AND in the office when we were shopping and then when we signed the contract. Office staff very knowledgable and willing to spend the time to make sure we understand our options. Job site crew did a great job and left the site neat as a pin. I hired dans to install fence the first day Dan came over at end of day and asked me for hammer he started beating posts in ground he said before cement dried he then asked me how I paid deposit which was a check and asked me to pay remaining balance in cash.Knowing his guys were making mistakes from the beginning he leaves next day on vacation they keep making mistakes then head installer walks of job and text me telling me he quit dans affective immediately and i would have to contact dans garage Door with any issues so I contacted dans and noone could help me said I would have to wait three weeks for Dan to return from vacation.so upon his return I reached out several times trying to get him to come out one time his daughter Tina getting very rude and after over a month he finally came by and said they were giving me none of my $1750 deposit back and would rather I get someone else to do repairs I contacted several legitimate fence installers who came and looked and all of them said they did not want to touch it and it was obvious they did not know what they were doing. read more

Came the same day I called, replaced 2 springs and adjusted everything. Very reasonable. Would definitely recommend them

Very nice on the phone and promised a tech out the next day to repair our broken spring. Said tech would call by 9 am. 10 am no call. We called in to see what was up. Evidently an emergency fix needed repaired before we could be seen. They said tech would be done in an hour. 12 pm no call back from Tech. Meanwhile I am stuck and can't get out of my garage. Called another Garage door service and cancelled my appointment with Dan's. Not very professional, dependable. I would have thought they could at least contacted us to let us know.
