J and I went today, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it's a gift shop-hardware store hybrid, so that amongst pest control, heavy duty cleaners, and drill bits, you'll find scented candles and gourmet consumables. We had just come from AuburnArt.com, The Villager, and Whapsody, so we were all candled-out, but we ended up buying Wickles and Not Yo' Mama's hot sauce. I only had minimal interaction with the cashier, but he seemed like a nice guy. This is all good stuff since my last local hardware store experience was less that stellar [cough cough, Five Points Hardware in Birmingham].
