It's the only grocery in Bessemer City though, so the doors stay open. It's so bad, I've written to corporate to ask them to intervene with improvements. There's certainly room for expansion. The R.O.'s restaurant closed down early in January after being in business for over 50 years. Ben was driving so he dropped me off in the front of the store and I went right in. I asked 2 people who worked there where it was and they had no clue what I was talking about. There was a lady customer who overheard me and pointed me to the back of the store where it was located. They had the 32 ounce and 16 ounce sizes and I got the larger size. I'e grown up eating this and living in Fort Mill, the closest was Gastonia. Now that they have gone out of business, I'm not sure how I'm going to replenish my supply. I've only been inside one other Ingles and that was the one in Lake Lure, NC and this was much larger. It was very crowded on a Saturday and lot's of people getting their Starbucks. It was $8.48 which I thought was a fair price.

The associate I encountered was not only unhelpful but also seemed indifferent to my questions. When I asked for assistance in locating specific towels, she appeared frustrated and dismissed me without offering any guidance. It felt as though my presence was more of a nuisance than an opportunity to help a customer. Additionally, I approached the manager to express my concerns, hoping for a resolution or at least an acknowledgment of the service issue. Unfortunately, she mirrored the same lack of professionalism. Instead of addressing my concerns, she was curt and seemed uninterested in improving the customer experience. Overall, my visit left me feeling undervalued as a customer. I hope management takes these comments seriously and works to improve the training and attitude of their staff, particularly regarding management training. Very unprofessional.

Almost always the price at the register is never rolled back like the price on the shelf. You should get the Walmart app to verify all prices! This Food Lion is the closest one to our house, so we frequent the store a lot. Sometimes they are…read moreout of some basic things (say "Snow" or "Storm" and it gets ransacked) However for a regular day, so easy, and so friendly. Wanda, the store Manager knows my husband on sight, remembers our names, and engages in polite conversation whenever either of us are shopping there. A huge part of the retail world is making connections, it feels really good to have someone, anyone at a big store like that, to remember us whenever we come in. I recently lost my mother, it was a huge shock, and unexpected, and Wendy sent her heart felt condolences for our family. The only reason I did not light up that last star is because when the store started doing the online ordering, or order pick up, the shelves become sparse, due to the orders being picked off of the shelves of the store and not from the back, ordering in food to be able to keep stock on the shelves. This is not only this chain, it is any store that does the grocery or order pickup. Aside from that one thing, we love our food lion, and they have customers for as long as they want us. -Oh, and give Wanda a raise she's the BEST!!!!
