I don't get to Dallas, NC too often. In the last few years, I've probably been to Dallas, Tx more often. Today I was on mission to get some R.O.'s BBQ cole slaw. The R.O.'s restaurant closed down early in January after being in business for over 50 years. Ben was driving so he dropped me off in the front of the store and I went right in. I asked 2 people who worked there where it was and they had no clue what I was talking about. There was a lady customer who overheard me and pointed me to the back of the store where it was located. They had the 32 ounce and 16 ounce sizes and I got the larger size. I'e grown up eating this and living in Fort Mill, the closest was Gastonia. Now that they have gone out of business, I'm not sure how I'm going to replenish my supply. I've only been inside one other Ingles and that was the one in Lake Lure, NC and this was much larger. It was very crowded on a Saturday and lot's of people getting their Starbucks. It was $8.48 which I thought was a fair price. read more

Love the LOCAL feel of the store! Aisles are nice and wide. It's always stocked and it's probably the CLEANEST grocery store in the Gaston County! I always stop to get fresh salad from the bar or fresh cut fruit to take to work for my coworkers. The Rotisserie chickens are always a hit! The Cashiers are always smiling and welcoming (especially the older lady at register #1) and it's easy to self checkout as well! The older gentleman in the Deli knows exactly what I get each visit and I love that! I will bypass Food Lion every time to go to INGLE'S !! read more

This grocery store is great! They have everything you want and/or need.However...Wednesday night, I witnessed an employee be so terribly rude to a young guy. As I was taking my buggy back to the store after putting groceries into my car, a girl employee was pushing a cart full of garbage it looked like, beside of me. A guy was pushing his buggy behind me. He asked the employee if she would take his buggy. Her reply: "NOT MY JOB". I told him to push it to me and I would take it back for him. He said that's ok, thanks anyway. Wow! She needs to be sent to class to learn to speak to people! Heavy set, dark hair ponytail. You need some customer service. You will never make it with an attitude like that! read more

This Ingle's is the closest to Charlotte and I am hoping that they open some more that are closer. This was a great shop, though perhaps a little expensive. The store felt very similar to the Wegman's concept with a full deli, lots of counters with prepared foods, huge personal care/pharmacy section in the center and quite a lot of "bulk" weight items. It was quite interesting. Yes, this is what I used to fill in around my Aldi shop because they do have just about everything here. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful. The lady who sliced the cheese for me at the deli counter was pleasant and engaging. The man at the seafood counter was also helpful. I'd like to see them come to Charlotte to help us continue to raise the quality of supermarkets in our area, but I'm thinking that their prices would need to change to be more competitive with Publix and Harris-Teeter. The store is beautiful and the grocery selection is on point. My only gripes are some prices are a little high and the deli food is horrible. I bought a sandwich from the deli that looked great but when I opened it it was stale and the bread was hard as a rock. Not the first time I've been disappointed by the deli food. BTW the meat department was rocking!!!!! Best service from a grocery store meat department EVER!!!!! read more

Ingles Market on Trade Street in Dallas is a well managed Ingles that has everything that you need from a supermarket and more. Everything here is organized and you can find exactly what you are looking for. I like the bakery and produce section here the most. The staff here is very accommodating and efficient. read more

The food in the cafe area was dry and just did not look appetizing the noodles were dry and the staff was rude

I do not live particularly close to this store, not for everyday/week shopping, and well, to be completely honest; Ingles is more expensive than Food Lion. So why the 5 stars you ask? When I walked in, all I saw, aside from a gigantic sparkling clean store, were smiling faces!!! The customers were smiling, the employees were smiling, seriously, it felt like I had landed in some kind of Story Book. The number of times I was asked if I needed assistance (because I will admit I was completely lost) was not below 4-5. I saw super fresh produce, I am a sucker for awesome produce, a huge amount of choices for anything I could want, and gorgeous, and I do mean GORGEOUS steaks. I was soooooo tempted but Hubby would have lost his marbles. Over 1 inch thick beautifully ribboned Ribeye 2 pack. Now, it was also $22 soo yea no, I did buy another 2 pack for less but just as pretty, not as thick. I met a young couple there who helped me find Won Ton Wrappers so I could make them for my husband, we had a fantastic conversation! They were absolutely amazing, the man had gone to culinary school, and we spoke of allergens. As well a young man working in the meat department who has a young 2 month old daughter, and I spoke about Pork Belly, and Santoku Knives, as well as quality cutlery. You just cannot "buy" that kind of thoughtful conversation. I had taken a small buggy, however I kept seeing things that I had not seen at my Food Lion! When I got to the checkout the lovely lady said "uh oh" and we both laughed, I said back, that "my eyes were bigger than my buggy". It was a great conversation we had. She asked me if I needed help to my car 2 times, so caring and sweet, truly, when I am up that way I don't mind paying the extra money for that level of service, and the awesome people I met in the store! Dearest Bilo and Lowes Foods, It's not you...it's me. I've fallen in love with Ingles. It was fun while it lasted. Late night booty calls for bread and beer, Sunday rotisserie chickens, and let's not forget the double coupons. But we've grown apart, largely due to my passion for international cuisine. I know you don't want the details on my new love but let me explain. -For my Italian dinner of porcini mushroom risotto and tiramisu...I had the hardest time finding the ingredients. I had to buy a premade packet of risotto and also had to make lady fingers from scratch. A+ for effort but it cost me a lot of time. Ingles had everything I needed. -Ingles sells real southern syrup like Roddenbury's cane patch and Oh Boy -They have a kick ass beer cave with kegs! -There is so much variety with every item. Who knew there were 40 different types of water??? -The produce, deli, bakery, gourmet meat and cheese sections are amazing! Everything that I ever wanted. You can even make your own trail mix and grind your own peanut butter. -The organic/gluten free/vegan options in every department are unmatched. -Double coupons, a reward program that gives gas discounts and a drive-through pharmacy sealed the deal. I ordered 2 Minnie mouse birthday cakes and they were 2 layered 1/2 sheet and 8 inch round and paid for extra design on them .I was disappointed in how they looked and there was no icing in between the layers of the cakes . The bread part was very good but the icing had a waxing taste to it. Won't order again from them. read more

We went to Ingles today because a close friend had a death in their family. We were looking for a deli tray. The deli department said they didn't have any pre-made. I asked if I could pay for different meats/cheeses and buy the tray then I could make it myself. They still refused. There was a ton of workers standing around NOT doing anything. They didn't even offer to help in any way. I know it wasn't the messengers fault because they asked their manager. The Deli manager didn't want to accommodate a customer?! What?! I'm shocked and disgusted because I WAS a regular shopper at this location. We called Publix and they were able to do it for us. We've got us a new grocery store. Thanks Publix! read more

I recently bought a corsage here for my senior prom. It was not at all what I asked for even though the girl I had talked to said there would be no problem replicating the photo I showed her. They redid it and it was still nothing like I wanted, but I did not have time so i paid and left. The corsage was a random white flower spray painted the wrong color blue (instead of an actual blue flower) and it was so sloppily put together it fell apart within a few hours and did not even last until prom started. The rest of the store is good, but do not order any flowers or you might be disappointed. I paid around $30 for trash I could have put together better myself. Another customer was also dissatisfied with her corsage as well, but I did not see how they fixed hers. read more

I love this Ingles grocery store! It is so clean and neat to have a grocery store right in my neighborhood within walking distance. It has a car wash and gas station located right in front of it. The Starbucks inside is a 5 Star rating for me as well as the meat department, deli, and bakery. Bruce the manager is so nice and makes sure that this Ingles is ran in top notch shape. The meat department is surely my favorites with the price with in my budget with fresh a nice looking meat......it's very clean as you can see the Meat men working through the glass wall. I enjoy having this Ingles in my neighborhood especially when bad weather is coming. They don't close unless it's extremely bad but they make sure the people in the store which are the customers are takin care of first. The entire crew and managers are really great people you look forward to seeing when I shop there on a regular basis. They make sure the Home town or local people who have goods to sell, they make sure their products are located in the front. I love the Wood Mill Winery collection from Vale, NC and the Home made barbecue sauce made right in Belmont, NC and much more from local Bee farms and local business.
