Within months of them having done this the roof started leaking around the chimney and, it was noted by a contractor doing a different project on my house, that the roofers had lifted the electric roof fan, disrupting the power but did not cap the live wires. When I called Stalcup about these concerns they sent 2 guys out to tar around the chimney and completely remove the fan (a decision not discussed with me) and patch the roof. More recently, in prep to put my house up for sale a pre-inspection check revealed the roof is prematurely at end of life. I called Stalcup to request that they honor the warrantee but they declined to do this instead, they sent a salesman to offer me a bid on a 50 year warrantee roof! There are too many reputable companies out there, do not risk your roof with Stalcup.

He visited our site the same day and provided a quote that was nearly half of what the another bidder had proposed the following day. Two days later, he and his team were on site exactly on time to finish siding our large metal building and roofing it. The estimated time to complete the project was three days but they finished it in two! The team knew exactly what they were doing, brought their own tools and worked with joy. They seemed to be having a great time while working efficiently. We enjoyed seeing them work so well together. We have a few more projects and will definitely ask for their bids. Do you see the close-up of that fireplace? One of the fake rocks had been given one last smear with three fingers when it had begun to harden. They used that piece on the front of the fireplace hearth. Unbelievable, but true. Then they wouldn't fix it. They said there were "variations" in real rock. But this is manufactured rock, so they could have gotten the colors and shapes right -- and culled out the pieces of low quality. I could give you other examples of problems with communications and quality. I chose this example because I'd even given them a PICTURE and they didn't get it right. Not only that, but the quality is appalling. And this, as the centerpiece of a house that cost over $300,000! No, I can't recommend them.

As the son I was willing to pay the extortion-oops I mean estimate fee even though I wasn't happy with it. Dale hung up on me. Completely unprofessional and the fact that they are willing to gouge vulnerable senior citizens is really quite alarming.
