I imagine it would be perfect for a charity dinner or (who knows!) even a small wedding reception. 30 of us spreading out our yoga mats took up about half the room. The heat was unpredictable. When it gets cold, you have to go upstairs and find the man who can turn up the heat for you. He's a sweet guy with a little white dog. Then half an hour later you will be roasting and you'll need to zip upstairs again and ask him to turn it down. One or the other of the two women's toilets on the lower level was usually clogged. One day there were bugs crawling all over the wood floor and someone said they were termites, but we never saw them again. Over the course of two years, I grew to love these quirks.

There is not a bad seat in the house, and the Green Room's name is apt, because it is literally just a small room with a hanging tiffany lamp and folding chairs. Situated in a store front on Bow Street, the Green Room is a welcome performance space in the neighborhood. Definitely join their mailing list to stay abreast of visiting performers and take in a show prior to dinner and drinks in Union Square. There is no food or drink available in this room, so plan ahead.

I was very unsure which area to stay in, but I'm so happy I chose CCB because the location is absolutely perfect. Back Bay is very nice and safe. Check-in/out was one of the most seamless experiences I've had with hotels/airbnbs. I didn't have to check in with anyone, and I received the door code a few days before. They have a lovely dining room for guests with homemade cookies, fruit, coffee and tea. Unfortunately I didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but I'm sure it's great too. CCB is really the perfect mix of a hotel and bed/breakfast. I was unsure about doing the solo room with a shared bathroom, but other than having to wait for the other guest to finish his shower so I could take an urgent bio break, it was no issue at all and I would hands down do it again. I'm pretty sure the other floors have a bathroom if you absolutely need it though. For the location, price, comfort, and amenities, College Club of Boston is a no brainer. I got the please to quickly meet the GM on my way out, and she is super sweet. I even left my airpods in the room, and without hesitation they are shipping them back to me. 5 starts forsure.
