I can't say enough good things about Louis. I found him through a recommendation from a friend when I was looking to get my 2016 GMC Yukon looking a little better than what it was. A little paint correction and some ceramic coating and this thing was back to show room condition. I did the lifetime ceramic coating and over the year and a half I kept the car, every single time I washed it, this is what it looked like. I was in an accident in December of 2020 and the first person I called was Louis. He gave me a high recommendation for a body shop as I know he cares just as much about his cars as I do mine. The recommendation he gave me was right on point. When they were finished they shipped it back up to him for a re coat. I just can't say enough good things about Louis and his crew. I recently purchased a new jeep and called him right away looking for a ceramic coat. I was able to drop it off and I cannot wait to see the results. I will post those photos here. I was so impressed by the level of consult Louis provided me when I came in with a sunroof leak issue. I was afraid of mold in my car, especially with two little kids always in the back. The smell in my brand new car was strong and I was concerned there wouldn't be anything I could do to get rid of it. He explained all the different things they would use to help get rid of the mold and when I picked it up, I swear it was cleaner then when I picked it up brand new from Volkswagen. Yes! So worth it! I brought in my 2013 Honda CR-V that had never been detailed before. Seriously this car needed love inside and out, I park it in the North End everyday for work, so yup I expected the exterior to get beat when I bought it. The black interior did a good job at hiding the life that goes on inside, I was a smoker for a bit, I have n,phews who are,.. well ,little boys and just put their damn feet on anything. Many coffee spills, and about 4 years later of driving a 'grocery getter' and treating it like one, the time had come. Anyway... I dropped of my car, for the works "The Ultimate Detail" and about 5 or 6 hours later I picked it up. MY CR-V is a HOT as a CR-V can be. Legit. I can't make that up! So shiny. Windows so clean. Everything like new. AHHHH-MAZING. In all seriousness the customer service is exceptional. From the first phone call to the moment I drove my car away, I did feel quite special. I eat in my car, have my dog in my car and also have horses at home. My car was a hot mess inside and out. Never had a car wash or cleaned it in two years. These Guys are the Best. They listen and do as you ask, and if you dont want the super high gloss sticky treatment or the scented approach, they do as you ask and just Simply clean the car. They are 100 percent meticulous, professional and do an outstanding job. I have literally dropped a car off with them and walked right buy it when it was time to pick it up because it didnt look like the same CAR. The full paint treatment is the way to go, they go thru a multi step process and remove the stains and such , polish and then wax to an incredibly high level of detail. I have used a ton of detail places around. I dont yelp about them. These guys are cleaning top of the line cars in there, and they show the same level of attention to your average car, but man does it make a difference. read more

Hadn't had a proper cleaning of my interior in over 2 years and all it took was a few hours with these guys and it's like a brand new car. On top of the excellent shampooing and cleaning of the interior, they were able to bring my headlights back to their glory days and I have so much more visibility at night. Friendly staff, very personable and ready to explain all of their services. Open and honest about what they recommend but not pushy. Provided a ride to and from apartment (if needed) and gave a 30 minute warning call for when my car was going to be ready. Called last week to schedule a car wash appointment. I told Louis that I have a Tesla Model 3 and did ceramic coating on it a few months ago so just need a foam cannon wash. Louis said that's not a problem but said that he's currently not in the office and that he will call me back in the afternoon to schedule the appointment. I said that works and thanked him. A couple of days went by, no phone call. I called back, looking to schedule the appointment, maybe Louis forgot to call me back. Louis remembered me and asked if I was the guy that called a couple of days ago. I said yes and that's when Louis told me that he doesn't want to wash cars that have already had ceramic coating applied by someone else other than him. I asked why and he proceeded to tell me that he doesn't trust anyone else but himself. He said that he doesn't feel comfortable applying protective coating on a car that was done somewhere else. I clarified that all I'm looking for is a car wash, nothing else. Nonetheless, Louis said that he just doesn't want to do it. No further explanation was provided. Overall, bad customer service experience. I ended up calling another place and they had no issues with washing my car. read more

Updated on December 2nd. The main reason I took it to the detailer was so that the stink would come out, and after getting in the car this morning, it's safe to say that the stink is gone! Mission accomplished Also, because I haven't gotten around to bringing my car back so the owner could see what was detailed and what wasn't, I felt it necessary to bump the review up to 5 stars. Last time we spoke, Louis tried to do everything he could to right the situation, and that's deserving of a perfect score. In the meantime, I went on vacation, changed the brakes on the car and schlepped my bike around in the back, so I've gotten the car dirty again. It wouldn't be fair for me to bring it back now because it looks nothing like it did when it left the detailer. I also can't be bothered to take any time out of my Saturdays to take it back to the place and wait around. I'd rather be lounging around or trying a new restaurant. Safe to say though, If you need a detail, you can count on Louis to take care of you and right any mistakes his employees may have made. read more

Louis and the crew over there at Danvers Hand Wash & Detail have gone above and beyond any expectations I had for my 2019 BMW M5.. the service was excellent and he eased any concerns I had about seams on the Xpel that I had covered the whole car. I also had a full ceramic pro treatment inside and out and the car looks better than when I purchased it off the showroom floor. Not surprised by the amount of high rated reviews. Louis and Kyle really knows their stuff. I had an excellent hand wash and vacuum. They meticulously searched each nook and cranny for any imperfections and took care of it. At the price that they're charging, I understand why they were booked up weeks out. After speaking with two other detailers and getting the runaround, I came to Louis in a state of desperation. My car had been sprayed by a highway work crew with a strange tar-like substance and was literally covered in hundreds of tiny little spots. Louis, however, was calm, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, providing an extremely clear explanation of the necessary process to remove the spots. This places is a hidden gem. Amazing hand wash for a very reasonable price. Almost like a detail for a fraction of the cost. And if you need a full detail, they do that too. Super friendly! After looking for places that did a quality wash and not your standard drive through with a 2 minute interior "vacuum", I finally found my place at Danvers Hand Wash!
