I tried renting a couple of basketball courts from this location and told them that I am with a small church group and because of that they told me that I'm not able to rent from their facility. I do not know why they discriminate against churches seems very odd. It's just for basketball and then one of their employees. Josh called me a motherfucker it was very rude. Facility is nice but seating is tight for spectators. Boisterous parents have to sit near prudes who are clearly not into sports. Prudes spend the whole game looking down their noses at us and gossiping instead of cheering for their kid. A Beverly parent (Jess?) had a lot to say about me and some of the other moms who were cheering loudly and drumming the glass. This kind of negativity kills the fun for everyone and people like her need to stay in the car. read more

Took my kids here to try the lil kickers program. They had a young girl who couldn't have been older than 13 teaching the class in this huge inside arena with 2-3 other classes going on, with kids/teens having free play too, you couldn't hear a damn thing she was saying. And this was a class with about 10-15 little 2-3 year old she had no control over the kids which is normal and with at least 1 adult with each child this situation was pretty much impossible. The other members of the staff were nice. However, the other mothers, fathers, nanny's, baby sitters, guardians, etc, all had attitudes. Like they're better than everyone else and their you know what doesn't stink!! I pulled my kids out of there mid class when a mother was giving my 2.5 year old daughter an attitude for going up to her kid saying good job! Pathetic! read more

We came here to play with a large group of friends. We wanted to try and play with everyone, however we were asked to leave. We tried explaining how we were playing yet the workers only made the three girls leave, none of the other boys who were sitting. Danvers Indoor Sports earns zero stars. Danvers Indoor Sports "coaches" tend to misbehave when there is not a direct supervisor or owner (Kelly) present to monitor their job performance. Demonstrated "misbehavior" is inclusive but not exclusive to late starts and early finishes of paid class sessions, little energy, attention, and skillsets exhibited passion by hired "coaches" to teaching appropriate aged-based skills to children. Coaches screaming at other coaches while using vulgar language in front of children, talking about alcohol consumption, and what they did for "fun" over the weekend. "Coaches" getting physically in young children's faces, and personal space pointing and yelling at them, demanding with anger they "take your hand out of your pockets and listen". "Coaches" call certain children "dumb" to other coaches. "Coaches" generally acting disinterested and punished to be working with (coaching) kids when a supervisor isn't present and observing judging their job performance. The owner "Kelly" also arbitrarily enforces and decides what patrons and children are required to enter the facility and are selected to follow COVID-19 public health restrictions fostering an unsafe work and public health environment. The sole reason for this review is to educate patrons and to hopefully mitigate the maltreatment of children in the future. The place is fine for a basketball tournament. The floors are pretty good and the bathroom is pretty clean BUT let's talk about the food they serve. Nothing healthy at all. How are donuts, muffins, chicken nuggets, pizza, French fries or popcorn healthy for athletes? They had NO fruit!!! Please provide healthy and nutritious snacks and meals for athletes. Every time we call up to come shoot staff acts confused why we're there. Say $5 to come in on the phone, then charge $10. Say there are courts available, then we get there to hear they're full. Don't understand why it's so hard to find a place to shoot hoops for an hour. read more

Danvers Indoor is an excellent facility with top notch management. It also has been improving every year. Management has done a great job to improve scheduling and coordinate many events. It has grown so much over the past couple of years and its seems to have improved . They try to accommodate when they can. Many of the staffers are friendly and are willing to listen and help. It's impossible to accommodate everyone but from what I have experienced is that they will listen and always make an attempt. At times they could not accommodate but their manager has always given the reason to why they cant. It's a hard job juggling all the personalities and not every fan/parent acts the correct way and when they see something wrong they will call you out in a reasonable manner. For such a large facility my feeling is the manager is very professional and she has done a great job with her responsibilities.
