Sunday morning, 9am, you've forgotten to book tickets to a museum and don't want to go into Boston - with no reservation needed, Room to Bloom was open, affordable, and a fun place for my 3 children to play. I have a 4 year old and 2 year old twins (BOGO for twins :P) and it was age appropriate. As the first few families there, there was plenty of space for our children to play. There are two playscapes, 2 specialty rooms and a kitchen/grocery play area. As it got busier, they opened an art room with markers and crayons that were a hit. Decided to try this place out and now I know never to go again. The mats on the floor were coming up all over the place, making them a tripping hazard. The toys and equipment was almost all broken or rickety. Much of it also seemed dirty. The space is super small and was way over crowded. I don't know if they have a cut off on number of people who can be in there, but they should. I counted at least 38, which would be fine for a larger space, but definitely not for this one. There were also some kids who were way too told to be there and they were pushing around the younger ones. The front desk person (while not required, nor should the be expected to, supervise) probably at least done something with some of the dangerous things the kids were being allowed to do, but she looked like she wanted to be anywhere but there (not that I can blame her). Seriously, go to Kidz Wishing Well or Children's Piazza instead. read more

We had my daughter's 2nd birthday party here and it was perfect! For little ones who can't really do much, it was the perfect environment. You get the place all to yourself, although it's not huge (better to keep an eye on the littles). It has an indoor playground, gym stuff they can crawl and bounce on, wooden cars they can drive, pretend grocery store, and then other rooms adjacent to the large room with different activities for the kids. You let the staff know your theme and they set up all the decorations, plates, napkins, and utensils (all your theme), and then clean it up for you at the end! All you have to do is bring a cake (they have a cake cutter too!) and your friends and family, and it's a no brainer! I believe for 2 hrs it was $300. My kids loved it and I would definitely recommend this place for a young child's birthday party where you just want to sit back and relax and have everything done for you!! read more

I can't say enough good things about The Children's Piazza- it's clean, safe, spacious, & my son could easily spend an entire day playing...in fact, I often have to practically drag him out of there in tears, so that's cool... Staff is incredibly kind and attentive; anytime there has been a mess or an issue, it's taken care of immediately! They always have coffee brewed for those of us who need it to function like a normal human being and there are also snacks/pouches available for purchase-but you can also BYOS. There are tables and chairs to eat at, keeping the play areas food free! With several different areas for the kids to play and explore ("climbing wall", light table, kitchen sets, craft room) on top of the play equipment, this space is perfect to meet up with friends and burn some energy. We purchase a 10-visit punch pass and it is absolutely worth every penny. Don't forget socks for yourself & your little ones- shoes stay by the door! read more

My daughter played here for almost 3 hours. She had a blast and burned a ton of energy. All the other families and children are nice too. Its not like SkyZone where you haev to watch your wallet. All the adults are house broken and the kids are allowed to soil themselves as long as you change them in the appropriate area They offer free coffee for your first visit! Its nice being able to grab a coffee and entertain your child in one visit. It did get busy around 11am, but we got there at 9am and it wasn't crowded. Even at its busiest it wasn't over crowded. The owners are onsite and real polite. We will be going back. read more

This place is clean and amazing! My 9month old baby loves to play with the toys and different rooms. The staff are so friendly and caring. I loved that the staff were cleaning so frequently while we were there. They also sanitize all the toys. We were lucky to have been there when they had a sing and story time teacher for free. This place would be so much better, if they put a limit on the number of families in the space. Granted it was a rainy day, it was insanely packed. They said they started turning down families, but they should have done it way sooner. It was extremely overwhelming for such a small space. It is also pretty expensive. $10 for kid then you had to pay $5 for siblings. I think that it is a little pricey, especially when the sibling is only 9 months old. You also must bring socks or you will have to pay $2 for them. The little cafe with coffee is a plus. read more

This children's plays pace is a godsend in the North Shore. Very reasonable prices, especially for siblings. Super clean, well-maintained, courteous staff. Delicious coffee and tea and snacks for grown ups and kiddos. There's everything from slides and pretend space areas to an area just for 0 to 2 years old. Puppets, toy cars, magna tiles - even a climbing wall with tons of padding that make toddler bouldering a reality. My almost 3-year-old LOVES this place. They also have periodic programs like music and dance on certain days, and even "wine & cheese" parties - aka, they're not checking what's in your Nalgene bottle while they serve up the cheese. Can be a little nutty on rainy or snowy days, but it's really a fabulous place. read more

I visited here a few weeks ago with my 3 children under age 3. Let me tell you that there are very few places I can take my three kids alone and not be a frazzled maniac trying to keep track of them but Children's Piazza was PERFECT for my needs. First off, the place was bright, modern and SUPER CLEAN. The front desk girl was extremely pleasant (even offered me a complimentary iced coffee or tea since it was my first time). They also had a place to sit down (with high chairs) and I could still monitor all of the kids. The place is not big so some older kids might get bored pretty quickly but I feel it's perfect for 1-4 year olds. They have different rooms the kdis can visit, including a sensory room and an art room (parental supervision required). Overall, it was a great experience. I went to the Beverly location yesterday for the first time with my granddaughter who is almost 2. She was so excited to get in that she started to climb over the gate. The equipment for toddlers is so perfect. We had the BEST time and we stayed until closing. So much thought went into what kids want to play with. There are separate areas with themes. I just loved it and I can't say enough about how much fun she and I had!!! A perfect indoor playspace complete with slides and a swing!!!! read more

We love the Children's piazza. It's bright, cheery and always clean. There is plenty for kids to do and my son always has a hard time leaving because of how much fun he has. It's also nice for parents who can let their children play while they drink some coffee or do some work remotely. read more

This is a great place to take your kids up to about age 5. They have SO much going on. Arts and crafts, a sensory room, a dress up room, a train room, a ball pit room, swings/slides, the list goes on and on. The staff is ALWAYS super friendly. The place is always really clean. It's a wonderful place to let your little ones explore and to have some time chatting with friends because the tables are in the center of the space so you can visit while keeping your kids in eyesight.
