Treated my son like a criminal because I guess he looked too dirty after a hard days work in the factory. They made him PREPAY and did a terrible rush job on his manicure. They even cut his cuticle and didn't even clean under his nails. They acted all nervous around him the whole time. He's not the least bit sketchy looking. I have tried this place many times...some good ...some not so good. The men are nicer definitely. Today was the first time the lady that sits at the front and answers the phone did mine. It was just a gel polish change. I asked a question when she was done and she stood up and loudly schooled me to never wait till the end to question the color!! I will never go back. Usually after they put some in the nail they will ask if you like the color. But once she learned she wasn't gonna up sell me she was quite rude. Definitely not kind. read more

$20 for a basic manicure with top coat on the skin and cuticles not fully trimmed. I'm frankly frightened what their gel nails cost. There are no prices posted in/on the building or anywhere online. Guess I'm still looking for a go too salon. read more

Not the nicest salon I've encountered, but certainly not the worst. I had SNS done yesterday, and compared to most salons, they did not have a wide range of colors to choose from (I was in search of something autumnal - brownish/orangish), so I ended up having to settle for something I wasn't wild about. My tech (Emily) was very friendly, however when removing the last of my old SNS she dug into the side of one of my nail beds so aggressively with the Dremel that it's still painful and inflamed today; never had anyone employ that technique before in years of getting SNS. They also do something that I've seen a few other places which really annoys me, personally, and that is finishing an SNS set with the gel dryer. I'm not a fan; if I wanted to stick my hands under UV lights, I would get gel, not SNS. Bottom line: I thought the pricing was fairly standard and my nails look really nice, but I only stopped in because I was in town for other reasons, so I'll stick to my regular spots in Lexington. read more

I have been here many times and have found it to be my favorite nail salon so far. The only lady I recommend is Serena. She does an absolutely fantastic job every single time. Recently she went on vacation and i went to get my nails done for an event, i asked for a dark red to match a pair of shoes i had bought. The woman that did my nails this time around, burnt my nails and cuticles with the file, have me HOT PINK nails, and most of the nails are crooked. I've been here three times. The first time was great. Second time was mediocre. I had to ask the lady to clean up the extra polish around my nails and instead of wiping it down with the brush and acetone she tried to rub it off with a nail filer... Just now I went and there were a couple of people in front of me and so I came back 20 minutes later. I had to wait an extra 10 min because the lady wanted to take her break. It took a while the wait was exhausting. She moved really slow and she wasnt even doing a good job. She left nail polish around my toes on my skin again and I asked her if she would clean it up and she did but it ddnt seem like she was going to. She finished up my nails with the same issue. I'm not going back there. The job was mediocre and I ended up paying 57 dollars for a basic pedicure and manicure with gel. For 57 I could have done it myself and it would have looked better. Waited over 2 hours and was having people whom came in after me go before me. Was told that others , were here before me, when I saw and kept track of whom was in front of me. I suggest going somewhere else, unless you want to waste your day away just to be pushed further to the back of the line. They need to make and keep a list so that NO ONE is ever treated the way I was. read more

When I signed in for a pedicure, they didn't seem that busy. They gestured to an open chair, filled the basin with lukewarm water.....and then left me there for over half an hour. Nobody spoke to me. Meanwhile, three other walk in customers for nails were serviced!! They looked shocked when I finally pulled my feet out of the cold water, put my shoes on, and left. The salon is dirty and pretty run down overall, windows are filthy and the upholstery on chairs destroyed. Not many options in Danville, so I thought I'd give it a shot.....just save your money. read more
