I would give this company no stars, but unfortunately that is not an option. Please read this if…read moreyou are a current customer or if you are looking for a vet. I took my 6 year old German shepherd in because I thought he had an abscess on his butt. First off, I was charged $69.50 for a six month preventive care exam, and an additional $46.50 for an urgent care fee. Dr. Smith looked at the mass on my dogs butt, he did not touch it, he did not listen to the dogs heart, he did not look in the dogs eyes, or ears. He basically took $116 to view-at a distance- the mass. Ok, i give the dog the meds and take him back in for a checkup about a week later. Once again, Dr. Smith just looks-at a distance-and it is decided that we need to remove the mass. Great, surgery is scheduled for a couple of days from then. once again, the visit costs $69.50, and Dr. Smith has yet to put hands on my dog. Keep reading.....it gets better. Surgery day arrives, I take in my dog, drop him off, all is good. I head to work and get a call from Sarah Dalton, who informs me that there was a miscommunication and the office needs the high end of the estimate paid in full prior to them doing the dog's surgery. the estimation was anywhere from $1,569.33 to $2,263.33. We were told we had to have the money there before 8am. I have never heard of this being done before and it kind of shocked me. So, I called my son and he called in with his care credit. Sarah told him his account didn't exist. My kid was a bit upset because the account exists and she was harassing him for the money. He went in to pick up the dog. when he got there he was informed by Sarah that she felt we could not pay for the surgery......hmmm, discrimination, yup. I didn't know that Sarah Dalton had access to any of our accounts. we took the dog to Mount Hermon ---who I highly recommend--- to get the surgery that was needed. we found out that it is a bleeding probably cancerous tumor that she could not take off due to the area and the depth. She sent us to Greensboro oncology, they couldn't get us in for 3 weeks. So we made a decision to go back to this horrible place to have the tumor removed and let the poor dog have some sort of life with the little time remaining. We called and scheduled surgery. Oh, keep reading, cause it shows what these people are all about. I get a call on Monday after a very tough weekend, from none other than Sarah Dalton. She tells me that they are terminating our relationship due to the past inciden. Yup, you know the one where money was the most important part, and I was too poor to afford the surgery. I finish my workday and stop by their office on my way home. I ask to speak to Dr. Smith, who tells me that my son was disrespectful to his office staff, who sent a bleeding dog with a tumor on it butt home. DISRESPECTFUL, his staff declared us unable to PAY. SARAH DALTON and Dr. Smith are disrespectful to animals and their owners. HOW DARE SOME TWINKY DECIDE WHAT I CAN PAY FOR. THANK YOU SARAH DALTON. DON'T take you animals here, and tell everyone the same. Mount Harmon is great, take them there.

My dog was permanently expelled from their daycare due to supposed "behavior issues" that appeared out of nowhere. I was never informed of any issues until just this past week, when they gave him two "strikes." Today, they issued a third strike simply because I requested a more detailed incident report to better understand what was happening. Instead of addressing my concerns, the staff claimed that my request for clarification was "threatening." Asking for facts and transparency should never be viewed as a threat. I even sent an email requesting a call from the owner, but my message was ignored. Instead, I was told that both my dog and I are permanently banned from the premises. The most contradictory part? They claim my dog is too "aggressive" for daycare or boarding, yet stated they would still provide him with medical care if needed. If he were truly a danger, how would they safely provide care? The inconsistency is both alarming and unprofessional. Never in a million years would I have thought that asking for facts about my dog's care and behavior could be twisted into something negative. Their handling of this situation shows a complete lack of accountability, communication, and respect for both pets and their owners. Please refer to pics of email sent.

My experience at Animal Medical Center has been so consistently disappointing that I feel other pet…read moreowners deserve to know. Over the past year, I've taken multiple dogs here. My dog Dixie had eye surgery that cost over $700, and her eye actually looked worse afterward. When I asked about it, I was told they "didn't want to be too aggressive" and that she would now need a second surgery -- for another $600-700. In my opinion, this should have been handled correctly the first time. With my other dog, Mila, I brought her in several times for yeast infections in her ears and paws. I later discovered the medications I was being sold were not for yeast at all but were steroids and allergy meds. At one visit, I was charged over $180 for treatment that provided no relief, and at another, I was told her painful ear hematoma would not be drained -- despite the fact they had drained the other ear in the past with no issues. Instead, they tried to push me toward a surgery I didn't feel was necessary. On top of this, their office practices are unprofessional. I was once left on hold for 10 minutes before being hung up on, and when I called back, I was treated with attitude. Even more concerning, when I asked for my pets' medical records, I was told they couldn't release them until the doctor approved it -- which is not accurate, as owners are legally entitled to their pet's medical history. I also asked for a list of her vaccinations , I was given only a "reminder list" of vaccines, not the actual records, and was left waiting while the vet walked past me multiple times. Only after I left did I receive a text saying the full records were suddenly "ready for pickup." (30 minutes later , mind you I waited 10 minutes in their office before the other Vet who I was on the phone with making an appointment for Mila, told me they would request them and to leave. Yes they heard the conversation as well) In my opinion, this clinic seems more focused on upselling expensive procedures than actually helping pets. I have since moved my animals' care to another veterinary clinic where my concerns are taken seriously and my dogs receive proper treatment. I would not recommend Animal Medical Center to anyone who values transparency, professionalism, and genuine care for their pets. I also wrote this letter to send to the board. Find it in the photos as well as the text confirming , I was denied their medical records in the office when I asked for them

The cabins are not only heated and cooled but incredibly spacious. The grounds are extremely well taken care of and provide ample running space for pups during their outings. And the people who work here are so incredibly caring. I feel thankful every day that we have found this amazing space. My moms dogs have been here since around May of 2025 and they are so loved and taken care of, it helps ease our hearts knowing how well they are being treated at Dancing Creek Farm. If you need a long or short term boarding, this is absolutely the best place to go.

He didn't listen to anyone, would and could drag me down the street, ran out onto a major highway from the vet's office, and had become a danger to himself and us. I looked all over the east coast to find someone that was highly rated, and someone that could take him immediately. Then, through my neighbor, Jodi Rogers, I found Dancing Creek Farm. From Intake to bringing our dog home, everything was spectacular. His trainer was Cassie, who is the best ever trainer. She trained not only our puppy, but us as well! DCF dealt with out-of-control behavior with this pup, as well as skin issues (itching), and teenage hormones too! They got his diet on track for what he needed, and explained the importance of the correct diet to us so we understood it. We now have a different pup. He is respectful, we are his leader, we can keep him safe through proper control techniques, and we can totally enjoy this wonderful, loving GSD. This facility, and all its staff, are total professionals. The overall care is phenomenal, and these folks love what they do - and it shows. We will never be able to thank Cassie and all the staff enough for how they have enriched our pup's life, as well as ours. There is peace at home at last!

First, this happened to fall the weekend of Hurricane Michael when everyone lost power including Reaba. It was very last minute as my trip plans changed and I had to leave earlier than expected and could not reach the place originally scheduled for my dog. I quickly search engines somewhere and Reaba popped up and I called explained my situation and though slightly off her normal stipulations she agreed to help me. Of course none of us expected the storm at this point as it was Thursday. We left, and I am always super apprehensive leaving Smokey bc he was a rescue and I always worry he thinks I am abandoning him. Well storm hits and sure enough Reaba lost power the entire time I was gone as did everyone here in Saxapahaw. When we returned Sunday we weren't sure what we would return to at our house so Reaba was gracious enough to offer if we needed to pick him up the next day that was fine. Fortunately we did not. We picked up Smoky and I was expecting the usual, my dog to be anxiously waiting for me jumping up to see me , jumping in my car, jumping and running. What I got was similar to a mopey child being picked up by mom to early I seriously could not believe it. My dog did not want to leave!! My dog came home with more manners, quieter, more well trained than I sent him!!! I am still in disbelief!!! I cannot reccommend NO BARKING BACK enough!!!! Honestly!!! I feel like my dog has made friends with Rebea's kids and can't wait to visit again! Even if you live in G'boro or Mebane it's worth the distance for the complete TLC your dog will get from Reaba will give to your furry family member -kerri D
