He's the…read morereason I remained a DOHC patient for years, dating back to his transition from Bayshire Medical to Desert Oasis. This review, however, is not about his care--it's about the staggering dysfunction of the office and the broader Desert Oasis Medical organization. I called to schedule my annual physical and was told the next available appointment that worked with my schedule was four months out. Not ideal, but I accepted it and planned accordingly. A week before the appointment, the office called to request a full blood panel in advance--perfectly reasonable. I went in promptly and completed the labs as instructed. Less than 48 hours before my appointment, I received a call informing me that Desert Oasis had decided to stop accepting my UnitedHealthcare insurance plan. After keeping me on the schedule for four months--and after directing me to complete pre-appointment lab work--they chose that moment to effectively drop me from care. What made this worse was the complete lack of professionalism in how it was handled. The staff member I spoke with showed no empathy, offered no solutions, and made no effort to retain me as a patient. There was no discussion of interim options, no offer to proceed on a cash basis, nothing. Just a flat, indifferent dismissal. I contacted UnitedHealthcare, who confirmed that Dr. Corzano is in-network under my plan. When I relayed this back to the office, I was again told--without explanation or curiosity--that the issue was on the insurer's end and that I was simply no longer accepted. Again, no attempt to resolve, clarify, or assist. It gets worse. I later learned that Desert Oasis is "grandfathering" certain patients with the exact same UnitedHealthcare plan--yet for reasons no one could explain, I was excluded. Despite being a long-standing patient, I was told I don't visit often enough. Apparently, maintaining good health is now grounds for dismissal. After waiting four months, completing requested lab work, and acting in good faith at every step, I'm left scrambling to piece together continuity of care because of an opaque and arbitrarily enforced policy. This isn't just poor administration--it's a fundamental failure of patient management and basic professional responsibility. Desert Oasis Medical has turned what should be routine preventive care into a bureaucratic mess. It's difficult not to view this as a stark example of the priorities of a for-profit medical system--where patient relationships and continuity of care are secondary to opaque policies and indifferent administration

I got prescribed preventative antibiotics that day for a foot injury and I called again today to ask if I needed a refill. First person I spoke with on the phone claimed i would have to speak to the same doctor as before in order to refill the prescription. Ok, is he in or when will he be in? They do not know when he will be in and they do not have a schedule for doctors. I'm sure they must have a schedule because it's one thing to not give out a doctor's schedule, but saying you don't have a schedule for doctors at all is just crazy. So I asked for someone else who might know the schedule and her name is Destiny. She refused to tell me when he works next, and contradicted the earlier employee and said it didn't matter if it was the same doctor or not because regardless I would have to come in, pay the full amount, wait 2 hours, be seen, and maybe then get antibiotics. Destiny also said my foot wasn't getting better so I should want to come in anyway - something I didn't even say. I just said it wasn't fully healed. Destiny was so flippant as she was contradicting the earlier employee, I'm not really sure if I believe her despite her being a manager. It's the closest urgent care to me, but if employees are willing to be rude after presenting you incorrect info - it makes you wonder what else they are potentially lying about.

I came in because I was concerned about worsening sinus symptoms after already trying over-the-counter treatments at home. I wasn't looking for someone to simply repeat information I already had. I was looking for an actual evaluation, questions about my symptoms, and a clear explanation of the next steps. Instead, I left feeling like my concerns were not fully explored and like I received the bare minimum. This is bigger than one provider or one urgent care. Too many people are already struggling to access quality healthcare, and when they finally take the time and money to seek help, they deserve to feel heard, respected, and properly evaluated.

More concerning, when I asked a very brief follow up question about my family medical history, I was told she was too busy to return. This felt like a lack of basic patient care and communication. I understand doctors are busy, but patients should not feel brushed off or unheard. So unprofessional and dismissive. I don't recommend this nurse practitioner whatsoever.

Let's start off with the fact that this office is FILTHY. Do you ever walk out of the back of the…read moreoffice to look Rogelio Drenning-Manriquez? As a doctor you should take some pride in your practice. Instead you have your head buried in the sand about your practice and your worthless employees. They have never dusted or mopped by the looks of it. Forget about the restroom...you are better off walking across the parking lot to Jack in the Box. You would think the idiots working the front office could grab a rag and clean a little...but you'll notice they are zombies not doing anything at all. The girls that work the front office are USELESS. Illiterate. Unfriendly. Unhelpful. Usually just sitting staring into space. I called to see if it would be busy for a walk in after 1 PM...couldn't bother to look in the computer to check if there were a lot of appointments. They couldn't be bothered. I ended up waiting 2 hours to get seen. A raccoon could do a better job than the brain dead "girls" at the front desk. They are more interested in comparing their TACKY and INAPPRROPRIATE nails. Just plain trashy. If you like doctor's offices in TiJuana...this is the place for you. My current complaint is VALID. The reason I left this doctor for another provider...recently...I was sent to a GI doctor for a consultation by Rogelio Drenning-Manriquez for a colonoscopy. They made the appointment and three months later I showed up for the procedure...only to be turned away. NO APPOINTMENT SCHEDULED. ZERO EXPLANATION. I told Rogelio Drenning-Manriquez (who referred me to Dr. Homan A. Zadeh, the GI doctor) and he said it was the first time it had ever happened. REALLY??????? An office that has been around for twenty plus years...HAS NEVER MADE A MISTAKE UNTIL MY APPOINTMENT? REALLY????? Wow...there must be a special award for an office...any office...to have never made a mistake EVER. The award must be a big golden pile of cow maneur. Because saying a doctor's office has never made a mistake is just plain STUPID. How delusional do you have to be to say that Rogelio Drenning-Manriquez ? I won't go into much detail about the "appointment" and "walk in" policy. What a joke. This place handles it's patients like they are being bothered by them. Like they are cattle. The front office is poorly trained...have bad attitudes...and play the victim if anyone calls them out on it. Grade F.
